[Q] GSM Galaxy Nexus Incipio Feather cases? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Do they fit the GSM model? I suspect they're made for the Verizon variant since it's the only American model currently available without buying unlocked from Amazon or whatever.

[Q] GN on VZW = World Phone?

I was under the impression that the GN from Verizon is a world GSM phone + verizon's CDMA (like iPhone 4S)
Is that not the case? are there two distinct versions?

Nope. Just CDMA/LTE, no GSM. The confusion comes because of the SIM slot. But this SIM slot is for LTE and not compatible with GSM.
I see, thanks.
So, is there a channel for purchasing an Unlocked GSM GN in USA? I believe all previous Nexuses had this option.
I don't want to buy from an importer (too much $$$)

No there are no unlocked GSM NS in USA. Only options are:
- Imported GSM (Negri, Expansys, Amazon, Newegg) ~$699.99
- Canadian Carriers (Unlocked)
... its the same price as you would pay if you bought the phone off-contract. Shipped from USA as well.
Reason why there isn't any option for this is because of Verizon's exclusivity to GN -_-

Anyone else still waiting for a Verizon Specific Bestskinsever skin?

Bestskinsever makes some great stuff but their galaxy nexus skin for the verizon version is non existent.
The gsm version initially was advertised on their site as works with the CDMA version. this is not the case. there's big gaps since the thickness of the phones are different.
They said they may not make a verizon version but also removed all mentions of this on their product page that it fits perfectly on the GSM but not on the CDMA.

[Q] GSM & verizon GN demensions

hello, i was wondering if the screen size is exactly same for both GSM and verizon version of the GN
i was shopping for screen protector online, and couldn't find out many for the GSM version.
can i just buy any GN screen protector and apply it, and it would fit ?
for example, i was looking at this one
http://www.expansys-usa.com/invisibleshield-screen-protector-for-samsung-galaxy-nexus-226709/
would this fit on GSM version?
thanks.
The only physical differences between the GSM and LTE version is the back battery cover is larger on the LTE one. If its just a screen protector it will work fine on either.
thank you so much

Does the Nexus HSPA require a unique case or..

Can i use any nexus case. Ordered yesterday, shipped today.
There are now 3 variants of the Galaxy Nexus. The case could be designed for one of 3 kinds: GSM i9250 | Verizon i515 | Sprint Galaxy Nexus.
You should double check with the vendor to make sure you bought the one for the GSM variant.

Sprint & Verizon are the same dimensions. A lot of Verizon cases are compatible w/ the Sprint version.
I got just a generic Galaxy Nexus case for my Sprint one, and it fits perfectly, so I would think that they're all the same. Unless you have an extended battery, but that's clearly different.
Thanks i ordered direct from google. The HSPA model. Just wanted to make sure i got the right case.

Is Korean s3 and US s3 the same, size wise?

I tried looking online but can't find anything.
Are the Korean (lte) s3's similar to the US s3's, dimension wise?
There are some good cases I found on Amazon that I would have my brother ship to me here in Korea. The s3 cases here are all ugly and quite expensive.
But I'm worried that they won't fit the Korean s3.
Anyone know? Thanks in advance!

Samsung finally got smart and standardized their phones across all different carriers, you should be fine. Separately, I am not certain what you are gauging your taste in cases on... as most, if not all, cases available for the S3 are as good, if not better looking than any other phone out there. I don't foresee the iPhone or any other phone having a better selection of good looking cases.
from what I've heard the Korean S3 is the ONLY variant of the S3 that is thicker (i forget exactly why) but if i recall it was because of a additional radio to handle the lte over there.
http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/24/3115367/south-korean-galaxy-s-iii-quad-core-lte
Korea has 2 variants
3G and LTE
The LTE variants are a little bit thicker
3G variants are exactly the same as international/us variants.
The differences is about .02-.4mm thicker, all international version or us version will fit in the korean LTE case, and majority of the cases made for the international or US S3 will work for the korean LTE, with the exception of most hard plastic.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_III#Model_variants
International: 136.6×70.7×8.6 mm
Korean: 136.6×70.6×9.0 mm
The Korean one is slightly thicker (and way awesome-er). Most cases should fit, especially the soft ones. I wouldn't count on the hard plastic clip one ones or the Otterbox (because it claims to be precision manufactured with zero tolerance). But you never know.
