so today was my second attempt at trying to use google wallet and looking like an idiot with my phone resting on the pad lol.
Two seperate mcdonalds i have tried to no avail. I set my phone literally on the pad and it lights up, says sending, and that it. The little bars light up/move like it is processing and nothing. I end up having to use my debit card after 15-20 seconds of looking dumb and seeing the cashier getting impatient like "look at this dip****".
I do have a case on the phone, it is the textured one from verizon that slides into the hip holster...

Is this causing the problem? its not very thick. If so thats a pretty big issue as most people have some type of case.
EDIT: and yes, ive had a good signal at both, at least 2 4g bars.
I've had the same problem, recently after restoring from a custom rom to stock.
I've tried twice and it didn't work. I didn't have any data connected at the time.
Help is always welcomed.
Edit: I do not have a case on it.
Edit 2: I was using it succesfully until today.
Bump......

Having a Nilkin barely there case already, I quite like the idea and would like to find a "wallet" that can hold my phone with the case on, and some credit cards.
The idea is to avoid going to business meetings holding a phone, a wallet, a laptop, a namecard holder. I also think it's pretty cool to show off that a phone can fit into such a wallet.
I tried the original samsung leather pouch, but it's such a tight fit for the phone with a case on, that it's impossible to use any other of its pockets.
However, I've no idea how I can order or buy from the above site, so would like to pool everyone here for suggestions on alternatives.
Any suggestions on pouches/wallets or manufacturers that I may look at?
Currently thinking of even looking at Prada's lady long wallets (that looks more masculine)..
I've always kind of been intrigued by the idea of a phone wallet too, but they always end up looking a lot like a clutch purse, like here, or put the card holders in the back, which blocks the camera.
it looks nice but i will probably drop the phone while getting out the cash.
Nice if you're a lady.
Okay so about 2 months ago I flashed a ROM. After the flash I was reinstalling all my apps but when I tried to login to my Gwallet it got suck on adding account. I thought it was a server error and left it alone. I then decided to try it again today well because I want my 50 dollars from sprint. No dice still not working.

There are a few threads on this, but essentially when you setup Wallet for the first time it pairs with the secure element in the phone, generates a keypair of some sort. When you flash a rom you lose that keypair and essentially even if you go back to stock, it's gone forever. Until the come out with a fix it's never going to work because you don't have the keys necessary to unlock it.

I totally understand and can feel your pain. Sucks royal ass.
My note 2 will just completely shut off at the slightest bump, for example like when I set my phone down on the table. I tried A factory reset, that didn't work. So I tried a little experiment, I figured it might be the battery so what I did was test to see how soft a bump had to be to make the device turn off. Once I kinda figured that out I plugged in the charger and tried the bumps again and this time the device would not turn off. Which tells me there's something wrong with the battery, more specifically the three little prongs that touch the battery but I can't say for sure. By the way I have a phone protector on my device. has anyone experienced this type of problem. I may just have to get another phone. Thanks for reading

I had the exact same thing happen. I narrowed it down to the exact same issue. I responded to your other thread about the issue. A thin flexible spacer on the other end of the battery has been working perfectly for my device for the past 3 months.
I used a post it note folded 2-3 times or business card on the end opposite the contacts. The paper is nowhere near the electrical contacts

Hastily spouted for your befuddlement
So my Gnex went black over a year ago, I tried all the guidance at the time with combinations of plugging and battery pulls. It just plain would not respond in any way to any stimuli. I got a new Nexus 5 and lived happily ever after until the discussion of Lollipop on Gnex resparked interest.
So, I gutted the Gnex, everything looks good, but that little tiny button cell battery on underside of mainboard screams guilty.
BUT the little bastard is SPOT WELDED in its holder 6 places. 3 on top, 3 on bottom. Really? Yeah.
I manage to carefully sheer the welds with a tiny flathead. It reads ML414H.should be 3VDC, It tested out at 2VDC. Enought to keep phone from booting? Charging?
Anyway, I'm over here in Norway, and lets say getting on of these tiny batteries would apparently requires some creative logistics. (They dont even have Radio Shack )
I need help tracking down one to see if its a legit fix.

This battery is simply a backup battery for the system clock. The problem is not with it.
What is happening to my phone!? I dont even know how to search for this. The LCD still works fine. Touch works fine. Its almost like something is separating internally causing a contrast difference in this odd, blotchy pattern among the pixels. A white screen shows the issue the best. Less back light makes it harder to detect. It was just slightly noticeable in the upper corner 24 hours ago.... now its 20 times worse! I got this phone from Verizon the day it came out. It is unlocked using Sunshine and running Viper10 and has been since I got it unlocked. Cant imagine that has anything to do with this though...
Has anyone else ever seen this or know what it is or what causes it??? I am at a loss here.

Wow, not one response in almost 2 weeks... Has no one ever seen this before on any device!?
As strange as this was, whats even stranger is that the phone has healed itself! The screen is now 100% back to normal. I have no ideas what happened, but ill take it!
That's awkward
