BIG shoutout to http://goo-inside.me for helping me out as a dev. They first of all gave me great webhosting which is just glorious by itself and now they gave me access to a way that builds for me much faster so you guys get even more addons incase they might have been added after 10pm! Thanks alot guys, it means alot!
Alright everyone, I'm not even sure if I should post this thread but I thought it would be interesting if I actually could release a pure CM9 rom and since CM9 isn't even out yet, I figured I would give you guys a consistent true nightly build from source with nothing else added on. (New music.apk is included in the second post.
Specifics? (features)
Pure CM9 (trebuchet, original applications, nothing added or removed)
See 2nd post for GAPPS.
See 2nd post for new CM9 music apk (until it's merged into the ICS tree.)
See 2nd post for CMsettings until it's merged into ICS tree (if)
The rules?:
Don't report bugs, this is a nightly also I am sure bugs will be picked up already. Treat this as any CM nightly. Wipe before flashing (unless coming from a previous pure CM build and even then, wipe cache and dalvik. I assure you I will flash these to my device so no need to just simply freak out thinking these builds are untested.)
Display of the rom?:
Video will be uploaded probably before tonight's build is uploaded (expect it in about 7 hours (midnight) since it takes me 2 hours to build, I'll be starting a few hours earlier + I have to upload on my abysmal internet speeds.) (unless someone else wants to do the video.)
Download link?:

Modifications?:

Modifications will be posted here.

Does this have the CM customizations?
Booda, it's built straight from source. What you see in the screenshots is what you have. Any custom mods you want to add, you have to do. This is for multiple reasons (minimal bugs, stability, etc.)
Also, screenshots in 3rd post.
Thanks Indirect.
Hopefully it gets posted before tomorrow as xda is suppose to go down on the 18th?
what settings are in the "Device Options" in CM? (wondering if it'd be losing some functionality from bigxie's ROM)
either way, as soon as i see a download link, i'll check it out
I suppose I can start uploading today's build but I wanted to wait and see if anything new gets merged. Oh well, guess you guys will have a new toy for your nexus. Note: This isn't meant to be full blown CM yet. It's just built from source so what you have, is what you got. Meaning: Unless it's already in the CM9 tree, don't expect it in the build.
The settings are deep idle and that's all that I've really had been able to activate. It's just a few things that are in the Nexus S settings.
Is this the 1st NS4G source built ICS ROM?
Booda, I don't know if there are other built from CM9 source rom's out.
Where's my bacon, Indirect??

Just giving you grief, buddy I was excited to flash yours but Burnsa was just a little faster. But if no skirt comes along to distract you I look forward to flashing yours tomorrow night. Thanks for doing this.
BTW: I assume this doesn't include the CM settings apk? That'd be something good to post on the 2nd post. Then peeps could change the notification toggles. I've got a copy if you need one.

A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.

Yes. This is built from AOSP. This is not a port from a system dump. And because these are nightlys (more likely 2-3 times a week-lys) new features will be popping up.
Well you are correct. This is a BEAST right off the line. Appreciate all the hard work.

Just flash the new nightly over the top, no need to wipe or install gapps again.
this is horrible. non-stock, the first boot is heavily modified (does not ask you to back up/restore, does not ask about location)
battery percentage mod that cannot be removed
edited the boot animation.
Very disappointed, would never have installed this. I recommend the Are U Jellin RC3 to anyone considering this one.
Do we need to wipe/factory reset if coming from the ACS port? I would think so right? I can't wait to get on to a true AOSP ROM, those ports just feel too....hacked

Parents just don't teach their kids respect these days, do they? If you have something to say about the ROM say it but watch your mouth and show some proper respect. Right now you are in someone else's house and eating their food, don't be rude. And I'm pretty sure Google backup and restore comes from the Gapps, not the ROM.

AOKP JB-MR1 Unofficial Nightlies for the toroplus
What is it?
A pure, untampered with AOKP Nightly based on Google's Android OS 4.2.1 direct from source, compiled by myself and uploaded for your pleasure.
Unless noted otherwise, these are straight merged nightlies from AOKP's github.
What's the difference between a nightly, a milestone, and a PUB release?
A nightly is only the officially merged changes to AOKP, added whenever it passes review codes and tests, as the changes come. A Milestone release is whenever there are enough significant changes to the ROM to where the AOKP team decides it is time to officially publish it and showcase it, and a PUB (Project Unicorn Butter) release is from a member of Team AOKP that adds different changes that haven't officially been merged yet. While most of the time these changes are considered stable, they have not been officially checked off yet.
Why?
Why not? I started compiling them for myself and decided to share with whomever also wanted the latest and greatest, free of buzz words and hype.
NOTICE!
For anyone that uses their phone in spanish it is a reported bug about force closes. If you are experiencing this, you will need to factory reset, setup the phone in english, then change the language used to spanish. I apologize, this is nothing particular to my build, but to AOKP in general for the time being. Thanks for your patience!
Changelog
Can be found Here and the current list of cherry picks is as follows:
Chronus built in as system app, updated direct from CM source
Features chronus preferences in rom control--->clock--->clock widget
Downloads
AOKP TORO+ 3/15/13 CP
AOKP TORO+ 3/24/13 CP
AOKP TOROPLUS 4/11/13
AOKP TOROPLUS 4/13/13
These nightlies will ONLY work on the Sprint Galaxy Nexus (toroplus), flashing these will require a custom recovery, for your sake I hope you are on the latest either CWM or TWRP2. If not on the latest recovery you will receive the 0/0/0/0 folder error
The gapps package I recommend using can be found at this link, gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
The usual disclaimers and everything else still apply, so if you install this on a non toro+ phone, please don't blame me.
gapps flashing is still required, and I recommend nexus louder beta.

It's been such a long time since I've been on sprint. Can you flash a new baseband? Unfortunately, as stated in op, this was a request to build. This is the one I can't physically test myself. If the radio doesn't work for anyone, I will pull the thread down. Any suggestions to get it going? If this doesn't work I don't want to mess peoples days up. This is literally one more line in a script to build this "./build/envsetup.sh && brunch toroplus" let me know if there is any working basebands. Again, I apologize for the problem, and I'll be looking into this, unfortunately I will have no way to test.

OK. I am told the other one failed as well. I don't know if it is something that might have gotten broken on my side, AOKP's gerrit, something to do with Sprint, without any actual sprint nexus I will probably never know. I am not in the business of intentionally messing up peoples days so I am pulling links. I apologize for anyone who got time wasted out of there day on this one.

Don't delete it looks like you just need to add the new lte driver from the sprint ROM also if you are using the device tree from AOSP or if AOKP didn't update the device tree. The issue is that the .mk files and the recovery in the AOSP toroplus device tree don't communicate with the radios period so you just need to get a working device tree you can use mine if you want as a base to build your own.

The above link has another compile, with a new device tree that should allow the radio to work. If anyone is feeling brave enough to test for me as I have i9250, not this phone, I can not personally test to see if baseband unknown is resolved or not. If you do flash this, and it works, please respond back either in forum or a PM, that way I know I can safely compile for sprints version
Sorry but baseband still unknown.
Don't give up. I believe in you lol
Did u check to see if your build is using the cdma apns conf as opposed to the standard apns conf.
Im going to repo sync aokp. And run a build now too see whats missing. But i can tell you the fact that it has the wrong networks. In the network mode selection. And no apns. Your missing some needed sprint files

Cherry pick list
* CyanogenMod's latest merges: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-12.1,n,z
* CyanogenMod's Github: http://github.com/cyanogenmod
This is a kang of CM12 with cherry picks from CyanogenMod’s Gerrit Instance, compiled by a group of volunteers that enjoy learning about and building CyanogenMod and Android in general. All credit goes to cyanogen, #teamdouche and the coders who submit to Gerrit. Thank you to @RyanMacG for providing Euroskank hosting.
These builds are bleeding-edge, most comparable to a nightly build, and are not meant for inexperienced users. Things will be broken and crash from time to time, you need to accept that this isn't stable by any means before flashing. Nandroid as often as possible.
How to post useful, informative bug reports:
Sometimes dev's actually check out our threads, or sometimes we have a good relationship with a dev or two. These bleeding-edge builds will have issues, and having good information on what's broken is great feedback before a feature is merged. Here are some good bug reporting tips:
* No bug reports while using custom kernels or add-ons:
CyangenMod's own bug reporting tool does not accept bug reports from people using non-stock kernels for a reason, so why should we? CM can merge changes to their kernel causing custom kernels to break things until they catch up. Therefore, please do not post any bug reports while using a custom kernel or add-on such as Xposed Framework. Post your issues with custom kernels in their own respective threads as they are the ones who need to play catch up. Any bug report posted in this thread should be while running CM's stock framework and kernel, as this prevents unnecessary clutter.
* Gapps are not a CM issue:
CyanogenMod is built to run without the assistance of Google's proprietary apps (gapps). Having issues with your Google account and syncing is a gapps issue, not a CM issue. Please do not post about any gapps related issues, just wipe data and try a different gapps package.
* Posting about the same bug every build:
Beating a dead horse with "bug X still isn't fixed" posts just adds unnecessary clutter and provides no help into actually fixing the issue. Some bugs take days to squash, some take weeks. Please don't report the same bug every time a build is uploaded.
* Logs:
Provide logcats when applicable. Use a service like Pastebin and put a link to the log in the post. Please do not post logs directly to the forum.
If these requests are too demanding, there's good news! CyanogenMod is open source, so please feel free to download the source code, compile your own builds volunteering your time and resources, then start a thread and run it however you see fit. All we simply ask is that people post good, reliable information that can be passed on to a developer that can actually do something with it, making CM a better product for everyone involved.

Not seeing a change in the change log between 0804 and 0803 yet there's a jump in size (+16mb). What additions are there? Can we get a more specific change log or should we check CM's change log?

If I haven't personally changed anything, I won't update my changelog. That 16 mb is focal though. One of the builds yesterday had focal removed... It was an experiment. All other changes will be cm...

About " Slim is Dead "
I put this Posting in the OP and change the Thread Titel so all can read it and i hope this stops the asking and the Questions.
We read in the last weeks many times questions, statements, about SlimRoms when it goes on or is Slim Dead.
To clear it.
We write in the last weeks many Times taht we have a lot of changes done, Team Intern , Personnel, software, hardware. These are all things that need time / have needed. Completed about 90% of the process.
People ask why nothing happens in the Gerrit.
We changed the whole system and you can find the Gerrit now here
you can see, we working hard on 5.1
People ask what happens with the Slim Homepage
You can finde the new HP here
please note, the HP is under construction and not finished.
You can be sure , SlimRoms is anything but just not dead,, many things need a lot of time, I would like and can no release date call for the next update, but I can say that it will not be long.
In this sense,
Greetings
Tylog ( Team SlimRoms )
SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
Please Note
A few words about the current standing. It was Christmas , New-Year , Holiday Time. After this we had to do in the last few weeks some organizational, server relocation, team structures, and more. Most of it is done. Pending Weekly's are started I will every Sunday evening an Official Build upload. Start, Sunday 01-February. I Post the DL Links allways in the Thread and here in the OP.
Let's hope we can start Weeklys in 1-2 Weeks. Thats the plan.

About to flash, making a nandroid first and then I'll report back.
edit: After I wipe and flash the Nexus 5 just keeps booting into recovery :/ Going to assume it may be a TWR issue.
edit2: Fixed my issue by installing faux kernel on top. It seems the boot.img included in the ROM may be broken.

You mean it keeps rebooting to bootloader? Mine rebooted to bootloader and flashing faux fixed it. Thanks

thanks for your input guys! I'll take another look at the kernel. About the data issues...is only data borked and you are able to make calls/send texts or signal in general?

Can't make calls/txt, no signal at all basically.
Sounds like the issue that was on the N4 when we all lost baseband when TWRP was on v 2.6.0.0. Is there another recovery you can use?

Hello again,
After the success of my AOSPAL builds, I thought I'd branch out a little.
So, in the words of Monty Python, "And for something completely different."
I wanted to find a ROM that offered features and customization options. Unfortunately most of the ROMs out now are either very early in development (and don't offer much over the stock AOSP experience). There are exceptions -- Illusion, LiquidSmooth -- but they already have builds for the d851. So I spent hours of painstaking research 30-45 minutes plumbing the depths of the Internet and discovered Android IceCold Project. Active development? Check. Active community and user base? Check. Nice options and a different user experience? Check! I'd found my next project!
Those of you that have read my AOSPAL 5.0 thread will already know this -- so new folks, this is for you: look at my profile and you'll see I've been a member of XDA for several years, and yet I have a shockingly low post count. In fact, the vast majority of my posts here have been in relation to the AOSPAL build. My search-fu and my Google-fu are strong. I search, read, search some more then read some more until I've learned enough to figure it out. I expect everyone that loads this ROM to have strong search and reading skills, and an IQ in the triple digits. I know that somehow, though, someone is going to post questions in this thread that have been asked and answered somewhere else. Not only will I not answer it, I'll waste valuable development time smacking my forehead and staring at my laptop display in stunned disbelief. Also, it makes the baby Cthulu cry.
So with that out of the way...without furhter ado, I present to you AICP Lollipop 0.1! I'll update this post later with a features list and whatnot. I'm also planning on building this ROM using the SaberMod toolchain to see just how much difference it makes -- and I'll make new builds somewhat regularly. I'm actually hoping to get OFFICIAL status on this one.
What's new/changed/updated in the latest build?

Oh Yeah!
Nice,an early morning flash!! Thanks! Will report asap!!!
After such a super high IQ post, definitely know that I'm better waiting for the official CM11…
@CrusherJoe, great to see you taking on another ROM, and one with further tweaks than AOSPA. Thanks for your support.
I flashed about an hour ago, ran it through the usual checks with the Camera, all seems good there. Features are nice, and I noticed that the AOSP keyboard actually has functioning gesture typing. That's a first from all the Lollipop ROMs I've tried so far.
I have found one bug that seems to be present in any and all Lollipop ROMs that incorporate "increasing volume" in the Alarm (Clock) app. And that is that scrolling through alarms (when setting up 4 or more different alarms) doesn't work so well. Screen scrolls maybe 1/16" then stops, and you have to keep scrolling down 1/16" at a time. It's like it loses track of your finger touching the screen.
I've only noticed it in the alarm page of the Clock app, but it could be present in other areas. I'll have to keep track if I find any other buggy scrolling in other apps.
Thanks!

There is no SaberMod 4.10. This statement is a lie. The previous statement was also. Or maybe it wasn't.
Damn it.
The later it gets, the weirder I become.
Anyway...no. After running some benchmarks there really wasn't enough of a gain to make it worth it.
However...
... The next special ops build should (I'd I can get the damned thing to actually compile) will include a combination of Linaro/SM-4.8/9/10 and @JustArchi's compiler flag optimizations. That ought to put some sweat on your sack.
I'll announce it and or it up with a plain ol' stock build so everyone can run 'em both and see what a difference that combo makes (assuming it does, that is).
Okay, I'm not sure what got all borked up, but Hangouts VOIP is JACKED to the point of complete uselessness in terms of being a VOIP phone client.
Seriously -- don't flash the 20141210 build if you use Hangouts/Google Voice VOIP telephony functions.
I'll see what I can do about a fix -- I'll keep everyone posted.
