Off topic: Lets keep the trolling and arguing to a minimum..this is a GREAT PHONE!

Alot of us came from the Evo 3d forum where there was nothing but trolling, huge arguments and dev fights. Id like for us to keep this forum clean, or at least try to..as this is a really great device. If anyone is with me then please clap your hands!!

Agreed.
Though already the first thing I noticed was how nice and civil people were...and even when there was a hint of people getting confrontational everyone has been polite and apologetic. We are, after all, here for the same reason.
The way the E3D forum went down was a breeding ground for, well, exactly what it became. The forum was opened a month and a half before the device released. Add in the unlock debacle. Even worse was the fact that after HTC backed down on locking it made it seem like being rude and trolly and confrontation worked...and that was infused with the massive numbers of Hero owners coming off of contract and a massive number of us yearly upgraders getting ready for the EVO4Gs successor. Sprinkle on top the unlocking debacle and drama surrounding AlphaRevX and TeamWIN that had nothing to do with AlphaRevX or TeamWIN...for a while. Then the fact that the Sensation was a nearly identical device with not identical development and seemed like extra dev attention--regardless of the fact that everything went back and forth very quickly, that bread epic ****-tons of butthurt amongst the massive amounts of people who were already pissed on, pissed off, angry and ready to fight before the phone was even released and, well, it isn't surprising. It was sad.
I gotta say I love all you guys already.

It will be pretty hard to keep evo3d owners who know they have a lesser phone from coming here and saying how much the phone sucks etc etc because they made the mistake of getting one.But we can try.

I was there watching as well, swapped the 3vo for the SGS2, couldnt be happier with my choice!
As for a google huddle, i used to use it a lot with my atrix i had. it was a busy huddle. It was nice if you couldnt get on xda to follow all the rom discussions and what not.

Go to menu, settings, display, screen display and then lock screen wallpaper. Took me a while to figure out as well.
Coming from evo 3d as well. So happy with my decision so far. Hope to get to know you dudes better.

yea sure man ill help you out.
u just need to pull out framework-res.apk , twframework-res.apk from the system/frameowrk folder, and then pull out systemui.apk from system/app, and also any other apks which are themed such as dialer (phone.apk) ot twlauncher or mms etc...
get those out and pm me and ill show you how to make an updater script, zip em up and sign it so it can be flashed!

I left sprint and went to a rezound then RAZR maxx. So glad i did. My wife won't leave sprint because she loves her gs2 so much...sprint isn't super great in my area. Verizon dominates. I can't wait for the gs3 to hit so i can get her on my plan. The et4g is very nice. If it would have been on Verizon I could already have switched her but hey, gs3! I take one.

In all seriousness, and taking no jabs at OP, I could understand posts like this for high profile people (Devs, Mods, Themers, etc) who were leaving but only because their departure would have a direct impact on the community. For example, I wish I had known SteadyHawkin was leaving us for the GNex because he did a lot for us and deserved a big send off.
Other than that I can't imagine why people feel the need to post they're leaving unless they just really need some sort of recognition that they were here to begin with. For whatever reason, I hope everyone is happy with their choices regardless if they stay or go.

That's why I like his roms so much, because he removes all of the ugly green. Not to mention his rom from E4GT was so fast and smooth.

This, sir, is exactly what I've been waiting for! A custom rom that I don't have to flash a theme over. Your rom for the E4GT was my daily driver before I got hooked on >>>> Ice cream sandwiches <<< that's a hard habit to break, gained at least 30lbs. I expect nothing but the best from you, as I know you wouldn't touch ICS on the E4GT before source. If there's a FC, I guarantee it won't be coming from a DBL S masterpiece. S III community is now a better place!!!
