First thanks to the guys on the sensation forum who worked this out,I wouldnt have tried otherwise!Big big props to ratykat and brokenwall.

You have to Edit your build.prop to have this line rild.libpath=/system/lib/librilswitch.so Then flash the zip file through recovery, Turn on your WIFI and open the app wait a minute and Voila
What about Virgin, who now use Orange's network in addition to their own? Would it work for me?
Exactly what I have been looking for.
Originally tired on ARHD 3.6.0 ICS on Sensation XE following the original guide however was unable to amend default.prop thus caused issues with the libs.
Currently VI 3.5.0 now so will test this after a backup and keep you posted.
Has anyone tested this on ICS?
Wont flash succesfully for me.
I tried it out on UK Wildfire S running CM7 on Orange network, the phone ran really slow after installing it even after multiple reboots, and was unable to connect to the Orange network at all when I turned off the WiFi, just 'No Signal'.

Hi,
When you say "You have to Edit your build.prop to have this line", do you mean that you just add that line as a new line to the build.prop, or do you change an existing line?
I'm kinda new at this so please excuse my ignorance!
Thanks,
Mike

Sorry! :silly:
No signal boost
Hi
I have rooted my wildfire s and gone through the process of modifying build.prop and flashing the signal boost
zip file. The result is a red house that never goes green. My Blackberry works fine on uma.
I placed a new rild.libpath line in my build.prop file was this correct or should I have modified an existing line?
cheers
Mike
anyone got this working? just want to check before i try it...

Well, this version seems more stable than the stock Orange rom....
for example, when in the compose sms section, when typing someones name in...rather than doing "correction" style numbers, it actually has a drop-down list with names and numbers.
Seems faster, overall, and nice to have standard set of bookmarks!
Will report more in due course.

My Orange Hero does and has always done that.
Paul, any chance of a real dummies guide in how to do this please ? Why the need to download your archive and also the patched one ? Or am I missing something ?? Sorry all this hacking is very new - with Nokia you just change the product code to allow you to update to the latest firmware.
At the time of an HTC update for the Hero, I can guarantee Orange will take weeks and months and more likely never approve the update... and to have these bug fixes would be essential to ensuring continued please with my Hero.
All done don't no if its in my head but it now seem more responsive compared to the Orange flavour.
Thanks Paul
Hmm I got this nandroid working but I could root / access as superuser on my hero anymore, and re-rooting it doesn't work. Any idea?
edit - Sorry, it was my fault, forgot to enable USB debugging after the flash, silly me!.

I'm glad you mentioned it... I have noticed a difference too.. I have also noticed a longer battery life... I have disabled 3g and have removed BBC widget and am using my phone as normal now (not using it every 2 mins cos I love the phone!!!)

hi all!
i am working for a few days on my kaiser to get a working android on the thing...
i would like to use the nand-option
the problem is that there is not a complete set of files to use..
i cant find a androidinstall.tar + matching kaisimg.nbh on the web..
i dont care what version it is.. just anything... donut eclair froyo..
when ik found some matching files, the links were dead...
i updated the hardspl and radio... unlocked the thing...
so the phone is ready for it!
everything i am trying does not work.. trying for two days now.. i need my life back! ;-)
some combo's are bootloading.. installing with errors (bad sectors), but a working set is not to be found... sometimes theres not enough diskspace..
changing the nbh with atools doesn't do the job... install script doesnt.. nothing does...
does anyone have a working set of files for me? (root of sd and andboot)
i need a kaiser panel1 240-320 .nbh file. but that is easy to change with atools..
hope someone can help with a link or attachment...
kind regards, joep
You mean CyanogenMod 6&7 cannot be download?

Yea I receive an not downloading try again but it seems that it is downloading and opening(try both) without any problem. Please try again.Thank You.
Search Google for "androidonhtc"... there should be files listed on SourceForge.
"Bad blocks" can stop installation if there are enough of them, find out how many and report back. It sounds to me like you have some NAND marked as bad. It can be fixed through MTTY, but I don't suggest just anyone try it.
There are a multitude of android installers for the Kaiser, but the only one I can suggest is the "system_froyo" on SourceForge. Actually, if you type "system froyo eu" into google, without the quotes of course, it should be the first thing on the list.

Thanks for your help .. I still can't access internet configurations ..
Note: I have bought my phone from ebay then I rooted it and got my (Yemen Mobile) number programmed on it since I live in Yemen! So I think the tips that should be given to a normal sprint subscriber won't apply to me, .. or not?

Hello. I think you need to define exactly what you are trying to do so someone can help you. What do you mean by "still can't access internet configurations"
I am Facing Some Bugs On MYSTIC os V6 Rom
1. Call automatically On Hold
2. Network issue ( Solved By Modem.img )
3. Weak Volume ( Solved by Flashing sound patch )
Let Me Knw What About You ?
Are U Facing Some too ?
How exactly did you fix the network issues?
I tried replacing the modem according to this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63750178&postcount=210 but, despite having messed with firmwares quite a bit, found myself somewhat lost, because the instructions weren't all that clear.
For one, the modem in /system/etc/firmware wasn't called modem.img, but modem_1_3g_n.img and some of the values I was supposed to edit in build.prop didn't exist, like ro.ril.hsxpa. (I had ro.ril.hxpa though)
So... I made backups and renamed the new modem.img to modem_1_3g_n.img and added the values that were missing in my build prop. Hope that was the correct way.
And well... in the end I VERY RARELY find two forbidden 2G networks, but still not my provider's.
Changing the Radio Band in Settings > Mystic Settings > System > Phone Settings > Phone Information between EURO and Automatic also didn't really change anything.
Any ideas what I can try?
Edit: For the record, it's V6 from 10/11/2015
Edit 2: Welp, I feel stupid now. I tried another modem, this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63108271&postcount=8 and now everything is hunky dory. (I couldn't try different modems at home because hurr durr, no reception and people constantly petitioning against radio towers)
Hi
we will list all the modem files and flashable zips.
and the best ways for getting 3g
give a day for this..

Installing the cabs will surely not be enough for it to work, and I have to say lately all those peoples giving me middle fingers doesn't really encourage me into sharing the other missing part, but as I had really *enough* of all those peoples I'm sharing it anyway, this isn't for those peoples, but only to stop all those fools from asking me the same question again and again and then insulting me everyday.
To get Continuum to work properly after installing the packages you need to do the following:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Docking
create a new dword value called EnabledForTest
set it to 1,
reboot and enjoy it running on unsupported cpu types.
lets see how to manage this http://forum.xda-developers.com/win...7-miracast-t3496988/post69539385#post69539385
EDIT: managed.
By the way, to properly install the cabs you need to make sure it matches your current build, if not get back to the correct build or use the correct cab. Otherwise it may not work or break WU with deltas.

Gus, I'm not able to add this EnabledForTest value at this key path, it just won't write. I'm using Interpol Tools 1.8 and already restored NDTKSvc. What I am doing wrong?
Use custompfd.

You're absolutely right; this should written on any OP with the tweak that require old .cab deploying.
BTW, as far as I know, MS is not using "binary patching" method; all .cab contains full version of binaries and other files (provisioning etc.). I believe (I don't have enough knowledge) installer API on the phone is checking files(s) checksum.
Do you know the trick (maybe, some registry change) how to bypass that check?

Add it using the registry editor, not the browser... It fails because the browser isn't allowed to list. So use the editor. Also, try the newest versions, that version you're using is old.
