I tried downloading the 2.5.2 and it did not work as it stayed on solid black screen, i had this issue in the past and i needed to use older version. but do i need to grab 1.4, 1.5, 2.0, then 2.5.2. Or just 1.4 then jump to 2.5.2??
Yes flash the 1.4 then use the modified caulklin wipe then install 2.5.2, I had the same issue it worked for me
Also if that doesn't work, try booting into 1. 4 and then to recovery. Flash the modified wipe all, and then 2.5.2.

Okay so I try to install the Virtuous ROM, it finishes (oddly quick...) and it keeps rebooting at the white HTC screen.
I've done flashing roms before, I ran Cyanmod, currently running Enomther's.
Any ideas?
I fully wipe before, backup, etc.
Not sure what its doing..
This might sound silly .but I am sure u know 1.0.1 is just a patch to be installed on top of 1.0.0 .so did you flash v1.0.0 first?

Yea this was when I tried to install 0.9 on my phone.
I did 1.0.1 today and it worked fine...
Ha oh well!
Hi,
I'm running LeeDrOiD v2.0.0 with DesireHD-1.72_Stock_kernel_tun_cifs and 12.28e.60.140fU_26.04.02.17_M2 radio.
I tried to flash LeeDrOiD v2.2.2 using CWM recovery 2.5.1.3 but this does not work.
Then I tried using CWM recovery 3.0.0.6 also without success.
Do I nead full wipe?

I had that error too. Did full wipe and all 3 times in a row but if I ever turn my phone off it freezes at the boot screen and I have to wipe and reflash.
After wasting much time I fixed the problem by flashing a different rom.

Try flashing core Droid or revolution.

I've upgraded mine to v2.2.2 using CMW. I am using the older recovery (i.e. 2.5.1.3)
No freeze or error message.
I'll try Android Revolution HD tonight.
See if that helps.
i had same problem with Leedroid 2.2.2 after i did a full wipe also, i fixed mine by restoring my last Nandroid backup , then flashing w/o a full wipe with CWM 2.5.1.3
a full wipe worked for me to.
Flashing Android Revolution HD 2.0.15 and the 2.0.16 patch did the job.
Successfully flashed LeeDrOiD HD 2.2.2 without full wipe.
Thanks for your help.
sippo, move to android revolution hahaha
Ok this might be a stupid question but I didn't find an answer when searching. I am running the Ginger Villain 1.8 rom version on my G2 phone but no matter how many rom updates I install my "Mod Version" always says GingerVillain1.4. Shouldn't it change with each update I install? Also my Android version never changes from 2.3.1 but i see other threads with pics showing 2.3.2 and 2.3.3.
Maybe try and do a fresh flash. Wipe and all that jazz?

Thanks for the reply. I tried multiple flashes that but still never changes from gingervillain 1.4. I always wipe data, cache partition and dalvik before every new rom install. 1.4 was the 1st rom i ever flashed so i don't know if that has something to do with it or what. I'm going to flash Xboarder56 v1.9 tonight and see how that goes but i'd still like to know why my Team Villain roms mod version stays the same
Ok so I installed a Kernel on the LI7 JB leak that allows me to adjust voltages. I adjusted them too low and my nandroid backup is corrupt. If I flash a kernel that doesnt allow voltage changes the phone works fine but one with UV it wont boot. Im trying to find out how to manually set the voltages back to stock.

apps like setcpu comes with a recovery zip you can flash in recovery if you do this.

Ok I appreciate the file but it still didn't work. At this point I have even tried wiping the phone and flashing a fresh copy of the LI7 leak. I then flashed AGAT's v. 3.1 kernel and the phone gives the initial samsung logo then black for a few seconds and reboots. If I flash AGAT v. 3.0 it boots and works fine. Also if I flash another kernel with OC and UV it works fine. At this point I went back to an old nandroid from ICS and wiped all partitions and restored the nandroid including boot. The I reflashed the LI7 and the AGAT 3.1 still boot looping. Still all other kernels work fine. At this point Im out of ideas.

Are you mixing JB & ICS kernels and roms? There is no LI7, there's an LJ7 and that would use Agat 0.3. Just making sure because mixing kernels from different versions will cause bootloops.
Yes sorry LJ7 after agat 3.2 came out everything worked. Still can't flash 3.1 for some reason but as long as 3.2 works im fine

Trying to hop on the MA7 train but having a couple issues. Loved Macks Rom 2.0, flashed the MA7 All-in-one modem, did a full wipe, and used CM to install Macks Rom. Everything working great until the first boot, where it keeps rebooting after the PRL update/PhoneActivation etc. Any idea on how to fix this?
Try applying this fix.
