Just curious of what rom kernel combination your running and your benchmark score. Right now I'm running VeNum rom full with Rouge kernel.

Hey so I'm running Blazer 4.0 and would like to undervolt but the stock kernel doesn't support it. Now I'm familiar with flashing kernels thru CWM and all but I see that SteadyHawking has this this recovery/kernel heading which is confusing. Is it safe to just flash true Rogue recovery? Sorry for sounding so newbie but no one learns without asking question. TIA

I think its safe to flash steadys rogue kernel but make sure it is for gingerbread and not ics! If you flash an ics kernel, you might brick your phone. Just double check to make sure

It seems like you can't undervolt gunslinger? On the cool side, it runs butter smooth! Benchmark results simply mesmerized me!!!

You can use Tegrak to undervolt stock kernels.

I get great battery off wickedv3 with the faux kernel (the one that comes with it), I've done a little bit with SetCPU though.
CM10 with LeanKernel, very good battery life, fast as hel* to.

I use a spare battery. :silly:
stock has been good for me
I had the best battery life with stock. Gonna give this xquizit rom a try. Hear it's pretty good. I have 3 batteries total so I don't even know why I am still concerned with battery life.

Wicked with trinity kernel is very good. So is faux kernel. Very fast and south And no bugs which is a plus

Wicked [v3] w/ Included Kernel or Trinity 43b = All day battery http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1804260
This is also considered by many to be the smoothest build. All lag has been eliminated, and many who use it see little reason to upgrade to Jelly Bean in the foreseeable future.

There's a couple of them for ics and jb. I'm on paranoid android jb with this kernel. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800576
[KERNEL][SPRINT][AOSP/TOUCHWIZ-JELLYBEAN][11/13/2012] KT747-s LJ7 - KTweaker
Lots of choices and I get phenomenal battery (25hrs moderate use is phenomenal for me at least) and great performance. Underclocked to 1080mhz and under volted. She's smooth as silk without lag or stutters.
Hope this helps you. But next time more help can be given if you specify what Rom, kernel, and settings you're supporting on your s3. Just a tip.

I am also running the same kernel and its been working great so far.

Ya the kernel recommended above will get u to 2.1ghz altho i recommend AGAT's kernel here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1956392 if youre using touchwiz. It only OC's to 1.89 but the benchmarks are damn impressive. Only time i ever got quadrant benchmark to hit 7000+ on a test.
I currently use KT747 with a bunch of tweaks. Pretty good battery life and performance. What about you all??
Stock I hate all those fancy kernels.

Stock. I've had nothing that taxes the CPU enough to update and custom always seems to feel like something's going on.
