Is it possible to get the verizon visual voicemail on CM7?
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA Premium App
yea it's possible and actually easy. download root explorer mount rw. go to build. prop and open in text editor. find the line that says.... ro. horizontalvvm= true. change that to flase, let it save, then reboot after that you can download it from the market. Also, you can use this for any rom you run.

Is it false or flase?

LOL false..... my bad.
If I've helped you out.....hit that thank you button.
I was a little disappointed at first when I lost the Dinc visual voice mail... Then I found google voice.
Just use Google Voice. In my opinion its better

Some tether hack. I tried it and hated it.
As for the OP, I'd help you but I have cyanogen on and it doesn't work.
Just follow the steps you provided in the other thread, but backwards? That's all I did.

I just activated the calller ID display and voicemail on my phone, but I can't listen to my messages... when I long-press 1 on the phone it just calls my number and says I'm busy and ask me to leave a message , like it would do for anyone calling me. Do you know ehre this problem comes from?
Thanks!

If you just activated new features it may be related to your account. Call your carrier and see if its on their end. Thatd be my first step.

I went to the store abd they told me it was software related, and of course they blamed CM10..

Have you tried entering 123 on the dial pad and pressing call

If you're on cm10, have you tried going back to stock to test it?

I just got my phone replaced under warranty. Is my msl the same as the old phone?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
No.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Nope, it isn't. It isn't hard to get your MSL. You can ask sprint for it or you can root your phone to get it via msl reader, and I'm sure there is a way to get it even on stock without root on some devices but I don't remember the method that it involves on terminal emulator.
Terminal emulator from Google play . Type su then enter. Type getprop ril.MSL then enter

On any ROM I've tried it seems I can't update roaming via *228. It connects but I can't get a dial pad to press 2. Any suggestions?
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
What ROMs have you tried?
Almost all inc2 here except miui.....may try a stockish sense ROM again...
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
you may possibly need to be on a GB ROM for that to work.
If you long press the menu key in the phone dialer it will bring up the keyboard

Or you can just dial *22890 and it does the same thing.
*22891 is for programming/activating
