Verifying Wimax keys

I have the opportunity to trade my rooted Evo for a rooted Epic. I know on the Evo there is an app that can verify if the Wimax keys are still there. Is there a way to do that on the Epic? I wanted to make sure they were there before I traded.

I don't think its quite the same as the evo, as far as I know you can't really lose them on the epic.

You don't have to worry about the wimax keys on the epic. They can't be lost like the evo.

Yep Yep.. I traded my evo for the epic and never looked back... The epic is bomb man..

rsa keys are a HTC thing..not sure why..as long you have an active 4g mac address in your epic, you will get 4g service..

i would not use the "Bomb" as that could be taken as an explosive device. I hope you dont say that sort of thing at the security check points, which we should also have even more of.

I dont think people will be able to tell you're being sarcastic. At least i hope you are cause i could barely tell myself.

I see that EVO 4G, after appearing green (unlockable yet), has disappeared from the list. Any ideas? Does that mean they won't be unlocking the bootloader on this device anymore after claiming that they would? Man are they trying to make sure that we won't buy another HTC ever again.

Epic 4G Touch Vibration Pattern...

Wtf is this nonsense? Everytime it vibrates it pulses, and it's always different. Both of the Epic 4G Touches I have do this.
Is this normal? Lmao...

I had my old Sanyo phone vibrate in different patterns depending on what's going on. (for texts, it'd pulse....for phone calls, it'd vibrate for 5 seconds consecutively.)
Maybe it's a default setting?

I looked around for different settings and I can't find anything. I received 3 text messages in a row and it was sitting on my desk. Each one made a different vibration pattern.

Maybe it has a hidden feature ... for the ladies

mine doesn't pulse but you can turn down the intensity in settings - sound - vibration intensity

I've turned that off and that's for the capacitive buttons.

I'm using an older version of musicjunk ver. 4.0. The newest version gets a network error.

Hey you got to try more than just one version of something if the original dont work for you... I assume by now you have gotten music junk but if you did a google search there are apk's like crazy out there for it... Let me know if you still need it and Music Junk is the shizzznick

yea there is a new inverted one 4.2.1 that works fine... do a search for that one specifically

Tunee music on the market works too

Modems

I am currently running the EL26 modem, it works ok. Is there any better modems out there? was looking at the EI22. Not sure I can make the switch. Any help is appreciated.

you sure you are in the right forum? this is an epic 4g forum EL26/EL29 is for the E4GT

Wrong section. Dont flash EI22/EC05/anything for the original Epic. You have an ET4G.

Better check the forum you are in vs. the phone you has!!!
EL* is not for the Epic 4G, but rather the Epic 4G touch (at least that's what I'm being told)...
