Gameloft says to check their Facebook page for the date, it says it will only have it on sale for 24 hours.

What the heck; as good a time as any to give Order and Chaos a try.
---------- Post added at 10:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:17 AM ----------
So Order and Chaos requires an additional 685MB download to run. About two-thirds of the way through my 4G connection apparently had a hiccup and the whole download had to start over from scratch. Just makes me chuckle when I think about how folks who use companies other than Sprint would cringe at having so much of their monthly data allowance consumed by this.

He's talking about using your 4g/3g to download it, and doing so would use up the majority of your limit/get you throttled.

Sprint's throttling download data speeds on limited plans, thought that was just a rumor? I know the upload speeds are capped @ around 1.5mbps...but downloads?

I came from the Evo 3D where it was as simple as Data Profile -> Menu -> Reset and on the EPT4G i couldnt figure out how to do it until i called sprint.

Just a quick note. It appears that WidgetLocker prevents the 'Hands Free Activation' from running after the first phone-restart. I just had this problem and had to disable the app temporarily in order to re-activate.
did it and so far no LOS...
just did this hopefully LOS is gone
No LOS all day today. Thanks
I don't think this will fix LOS, it just refreshes your data service. If you're getting slow speeds it might speed it up. Sprints 3G is horrible so dont count on anything.

Best torrent app for Androids?

What is the best torrent app? I purchased swarm off the market and works ok but only allows 50 connections. And for some reason after a while they slowly drop and download speeds drop with it.. and I can rarely get it to stay above 200kbs..

using torrents on your mobile data can get your line terminated from sprint
if thats what you plan on doing then good luck....
im not sure XDA policy on torrents as sharing anything that is copyright is Warez....
if you torrent use a wifi/laptop setup (better security and speeds)
I use adownloader and only use it while on wifi. I think it is hands down the best. I tried the others. I can always find everything I am looking for. When I download one thing at a time, I get over 1 mb/s.

Not slow at all if you have it set right. I download a movie in about 10 to 20 minutes depending on the size. Usually find movies anywhere from 700 mb to 1.6 gb. I don't know, but someone came in here saying their line was terminated because of visiting torrent sites. I been visiting torrent sites for years on my phone and never had a problem.
The way things have been going with file sharing/storage sites we may one day have to use torrents to download ROMs.
XDA rules say we can't upload, post links to paid/pirated files or software on xda. IMO discussing what's the best app available in the market is ok.

I don't use my data that much, maybe about 2GB a month, but I still hate the fact that every company want to charge for tier pricing. But the idea of the company able to charge for the service it doesn't do anything is insane. Sure if you want to let the company do so then go ahead, but then if you can do it yourself, then it become self service and you shouldn't have to pay. This is like they should be able to charge extra a month if you let you friend borrow your phone to make a call or to use 3rd party headset. Majority of people don't actually share the bandwidth with other people but rather to use the data of themself on another device.

No, it's not just you. 3G is utterly non-existent.
I raised hell with Sprint about this yesterday and got a $150 credit on my bill. I said, "I'm paying $10 a month for Premium Data and I'm getting No Data!". They try to tell you that is a "Smartphone Charge", but it's not, it's a "Premium Data" charge that was implemented with the advent of 4G. Now they are trying to still charge us for crap 3G and no 4G. It says "Premium Data" on your bill, not "Smartphone".
Raise some hell, get a rebate.
Good news, I'll be in Tampa tomorrow for 2 weeks for the holiday.

Yup. I am in Pittsburgh and the service is very good here. I can't speak for traveling yet but in the metropolitan area i am in i could not be happier for 75 and change each month. I usually go through 100 plus gigs a month. I don't get why people who don't travel far even consider the other big carriers unless they have a family plan. ..that is another story.

Nope, you have to root.
I think T-mobile have just found out about it today. my internet got disconnecting around 1am central time. i was using modified apn. everything was working fine. i tried everything with no success, i called T-mobile, and they have to reset the signal, and reset the apn to its original setting. and then switch to 2g network, then switch to Auto. after all that i got my internet working. so i tried again to miss with the apn, what i found out is that no matter apn i use, will not work, unless i choose the protected apn. and my internet get disconnecting until i change to 2g then Auto.
What i believe is T-mobile have just known about the apn trick.
please everyone has the same issue report back.

Are you using the newest version of the T-Mobile My Account app?? I think it can control and monitor wi-fi usage to block this trick. I block some of its permissions using LBE Security Master.
I personally use this has never failed me ... I have tethered almost 200GB Data with no problem ....
