Actually no...I wanted to help out the community, I saw a lot of people posting asking about Shootme so I thought id go out of my way to take screen shots, record a screencast, upload them, and upload the APK. I didn't even notice the "THANKS" clicks, I was actually hoping people would post a thank you and keep the thread alive...
and the link you posted was a thread asking for the APK, My thread is OFFERING the APK. Completely different.

My original reply to this said that the wording of your post with relation to the "Thanks" button came off to be a 'fishing expedition for Thanks clicks'. That's how I perceived it, so I called it out. You and others can disagree with my interpretation, and that's ok.

Irregardless of your intention, the link I provided to an existing thread had attached URLs to the APK file in question. All it would take is a user to search with logical keywords to discover the thread. (In my example, I used "shootme".)
All that said, good work on the information you provided. If you were trying to seek large quantity of XDA member thanks/recognition, then you may want to post or request the thread be moved to the more generic forum for all Android Apps.

Drama free lol and Matty i defended you in one post big mistake. I know the dev section isnt for convo but the ICS WIP thread by viperboy is just updates thats all no rom nothing. I acctually enjoy idle convo.

that thread never should have been in Development anyways...that was, and STILL is a WIP..
Maybe the mods should have a section for WIP, or, only allow recognized devs to post/see it?
Once a product is actually ready for consumption, it should be posted "in public"..
Not sure if this is do able, but it would make things a lot easier for people who actually develop, and, reduce the number of newbies who screw up their phones, because they just flash anything they see here..
I was wondering if the is a way to report a user to the mods for harsh and abrasive responses which seem for the sole purpose of belittling and insulting xda users. There is a user that seems to do only that and not help the person posing the question. It is starting to get ridiculous. I thought xda did not condone this behavior.

You guys know that we can't action anything that we don't know about, right?
OP, in the other thread you mentioned that you lost faith in XDA and the Mods, well we can't fix what we don't know is broke. How about 1 report versus 10 flaming posts? There are 5 of us who handle all the SGS3 variants, so our response time is very quick. If the user has broken rules, then action will be taken. If not, most likely we will post in the thread to throttle it back or plainly to just quit it.
Maybe everyone should look in my signature at the link to needing a Mod and how the report button works.
Example would be the random question in the Dev section. Instead of 15 posts about "wrong section", why not report it with the "Thread moving/maintenance" dropdown.

All I'm saying is for users to be weary of what they're doing with this and for you to properly give any credit where it's due. Seeing how the build.prop identifies it as SyNthetic_aospX, it would be stock aosp... Seems like all he did was add beats and deodex it... Unless he posts otherwise...

Hmm... I'm going to stay away from this ROM here. He probably means well but from what everyone's saying and what @toci1980 said about an Install error, I'm staying with Synthetic's ROM.

Hmmm looks to be in the wrong section for this post for one .. and second in that other thread of yours was already all the information you need about getting CWM on your phone .. there are already BOOST users here using Agats and other kernels available look at the Kernel repository sticky it has links to all available Kernels
in before the lock

Sorry dev forums are not for "development issues". They are for devs and modders and themers to post to their work. If you didn't make some thing then you shouldnt post in dev forums.

hate the pretentiousness here. Where does it exist? You mean the f18 build? It's not the same. I've looked high and low for the f122 build rooted with cwm. If it does exist then just help me out and link me. SO F'N SORRY FOR POSTING IN THE WRONG THREAD. I don't know why anybody would object to me offering beer money for a straight up kernel. Because as has been said already .. it is not a different phone at all it is the EXACT same phone.. you are not required to run a kernel that is only fl22, Sprint Boost Virgin all SPH -D710 run the same kernels , that is what all the folks that replied have been trying to tell you . you can use any of the repacked kernels in the repo http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662295
I'm thinking after reading all this, you shouldn't be trying to flash anything. Ever.

I would suggest donating to the devs of this community who have already put out TONS of work for free. might spark more interest in putting things out in general. Just saying, as long as we're saying things in sections where they don't belong

Backup the LatinIME.APK in the system/app folder, and paste the download in the same folder. This keyboard works flawlessly, so unless you don't like all black, you won't need to go back.
