[Q] Sense ROM with Volume Button Controls? - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been a long time user of the CM7 ROMs, and one of the most helpful additions to the ROM is the ability to use the hardware volume buttons to control music tracks, I use it everyday on my commute to work.
I'd like to try out a Sense ROM again, when I tried a few last time none of them had this feature.
Are there any Sense ROMs with this feature built-in? Or is there another way I can add it myself?

On CM7, when the phone is asleep, you can skip between tracks using the volume up and down controls. any way of getting these settings on a Sense rom?

[Q] Volume button music control

I love the features to control music with volume button (hold volume up = next song, hold volume down = previous song).
There is a way to have that feature in t-mobile AOSP based rom and/or in sense based rom??
I would use virtuous glite 1.0.5 or virtuous sense 2.0, but without this feature I can't leave cm7
There is a way to modify the music.apk? I really want this feature with the standard music.apk because is light and is perfect for me.
I don't understand if the cm feature is in the music.apk or in the framework, but I think framework so is not easy portable..
I searched for days something, I found only 2 apps that don't works.. (next song and rocker buttons)
Someone know anything?
I can't live without this feature, but I can't leave without virtuous glite!
no one.. ?
Sorry not an soap guy but mikg 2.6x has that feature built in. use it all the time myself when riding a bike so I get ya on how you'd like to keep it. Isn't there an app that will change the song when you shake the phone?
I don't want to shake my phone to skip songs.. I want to skip song without pulling out of the task the smartphone.
I use this feature in cm7, but I would use it in glite or virtuous sense.
I think it's possible to modify music.apk from AOSP code to add this feature, it would be great

Volume key music control?

Hello, everyone!
I looked everywhere in the forum, but couldn't find something helpful. I want to make the volume keys (long press) change the song in the Music Player. While i was using MildWild rom i had no problem with that, but now that i am using Runnymede, it seems this function aint working
I found a script, which changes bravo-keypad.kl, but it removes the volume key oridnary function (volume change) in order to make the volume key change the songs. Howver i want them both to work. Any suggestions for a code change somewhere or an app, that does that (but doesnt stay always on in the notifications bar). Thank you in advance!
The only thing to change a song on my runnymede powered device is to shake.
But I personally think that the best things you could do, is to install another music player for that function.
Player Pro for example, also be sure you check out the settings for the function to include.
Also, look in the RCtweaks, maybe there you will find the change.

Volume Controls.

I already asked this, but no replies so here goes again.
When I was on Cyanogenmod (And some more AOSP) ROMS, there was this tweak called Volume Control, when your phone sleeps you can long press the volume controls to go to the next and previous song, is it possible to get this in Sense?
I'm on Android Revolution right now and I'm really missing this feature!
It's possible with the Leedroid rom.
I have token this rom because I can have the option " change the song with the volume botton"
I really like AR-HD and don't want to switch.
Is there really no mod to flash out there that will do this for me?

Mod for tw

Can anyone combine 2 mod menu kill app, music rocker control together for tw firmware, thanks
Many Roms generally in Android development have both these features. The one I am working on has volume rocker and I am messing will back to kill currently but I know others have both working already.
Thanjs for your rely, i search in 4rum but i only found custome rom or either music control or kill app mod only, can i have your mod after you done, thanka
