Are there any sites out there where you can buy like custom back covers for the EVO? Like with a design or different colors or anything?
Im not talking about a rubber case to go over the phone, im talking about the plastic back cover.

I dont want a case that covers up the whole white back...that was the point of me buying the white one.
anyone have a white evo that has found a case that doesnt just completely make irrelevant the fact that you bought a white evo?

actually now that you mention it, yeah something like that.
Because all I really want is to protect the camera on the back from being protruded like it is so I could set it down and not worry about it.
I like the white back of the evo so I find covering it to be not desired.
i normally dont like any case but the camera being the way it is makes me want one.
any cases like a bumper that exist or evo?
Clear TPU case with some sort of pattern etched into it. Should look Very nice!

I was wondering the same, where are the bumper cases for the EVO? I haven't been able to find any.
I've got the Body Glove and it's pretty smooth, almost looks like there isn't a case on the phone at all.
Well I just got my case from amazon for my white evo.... Its an AMZER LILY WHITE CLEAR (this is the name of color lol) the case is awesome... Grip is exceptional and the white of the phone is shown thru the case but in a misty look, its a thick case also for drops... Try it out, u won't be disappointed... Oh and it was 13$ total...

It's clear but the back is frosted a bit, which i kinda like as it gives you some grip. the HTC logo still shows through quite nicely.

personally i wouldnt use a case like that as it doesn't protect the camera very well if at all. the first TPU case I bought was like that and I ditched it after I got a very small nick in the red bezel around the camera.

Just the one I'd have recommended, and they go for a song on eBay. I've tried out about a dozen different cases, and this is the one I keep coming back to. The corners are thick, and the texture is easy to hold. I don't like the snap-together clamshells, am a bit iffy about the clamp-from-the-back covers, and won't spend $30 and more for a case.
Now we just need a humpback for the big battery backs.

Yeah there is, well sort of. It doesn't cover the whole back, just a small portion at the bottom.

I like to have a spare OEM battery cover just in case mine breaks a tab or something.
The last one I saw was sold on Ebay for $18.50.
I haven't looked for one in a couple of weeks, but they were not readily available
anywhere.

If it doesn't say it's for the SE4GT for Sprint, it won't fit, and/or won't have the proper script on it.

I'd like to know this too. Love the phone, hate the build quality. A snazzy soft touch or aluminum battery door / case would be rad.
Regarding the build quality, that may just be perception, and not reality.
It may feel flimsy because it is light, and not made of titanium and other exotics.
But if you think about it, it's got to be made to withstand every day happenings, which I feel it does.
Why can't they make aluminum doors for s2 epic ? there are millions for ATT and T mobile but non for epic 4g
They should make it compatible for certain hardware like doors - batteries - etc

If you search the forum, someone posted a MOD that they did which made our stock door look like brushed black aluminium.... it looked Fking Awes!
He used 2 different grades of sandpaper or something...

Ebay has att s2 for $4 - $8 range..
If you want to change the look of your battery cover you could pick up a sample of 3M Di-Noc off of eBay. Check out a couple of videos on YouTube about the stuff.
I'm also wanting an aluminum battery cover, maybe a carbon fiber weave...

Sorry 3M Di-Noc off?????? huh? can u explain....
3M Di-Noc... think of it as a bad ass phone skin. Its primary use is on import tuner cars to give practically any surface a carbon fiber texture and feel. Multiple colors and super easy to work with. They warranty the stuff in automotive applications against fade and adhesion. Seriously there are many clips on YouTube of people playing with thus stuff.

I would like to add some color to my white S3. I have a wonderful cover matte transparent white but underneath if I could change the battery cover with one that has some design (superheroes, flags, cities etc.,. kind of like gelaskin but the stickers don't fit very well).
Does anyone of any site were they sell these?

Epic response. eBay sells many patterned backs, just search with keywords "Galaxy Siii Door".
I am not looking for Skns but battery cover/door.
I already looked on eBay but all the doors are colored but with no design. I was lloking for something like a skin but already printed on the plastic (or policarbonated)

hey guys!
I'm looking for something like a custom back cover for my S3.
I really dont like how cheap it feels with that all plastic feeling.
For example the Galaxy Nexus feels a lot better on the back.
So I was thinking if I could buy a new cover which offers a little more grip and a nicer feel? Wouldn't mind if it's slightly thicker.

There were some really neat carbon fiber backs that I was looking to get, but this was a couple months ago. Maybe someone else could post a picture of one.
Here is a leather (probably not real leather) 150920885524 (picture attached) I think I saw it in black too.
there are "customer" versions of this in other colors and variations on this theme.
I have also seen metal ones (caution may block NFC) and chrome ones. really cool. I plan to order this 380468615189 "american flag" one as well
these are not covers they REPLACE your battery cover. Very slick.
