So.i am running frozen 1.2 i believe and when ever we make a call the phone has high pitch ringing sound when making or receiving calls on skype and gets louder and louder any ideas would be helpful thanks

I need some help. Every time I make a call I can hear the rings but soon as the person answers it goes quite. They can't hear me and I can't hear them. I did a battery pull it worked for one call but now its doing it again and pulling the battery isn't working.
I'm rooted running the latest miui but this has also happened when I wasn't rooted as well

Yes it had this issue once but was fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting the call.

Yeah, I tried a Skype video call and neither of my cameras would work. Tried 2 or 3 calls in a row and just gave up.

Hello all,
I am running cm9.1 and for the most part everything is great so thanks for all the hard work. For some reason when I make outgoing calls the person on the other end can't hear me or it sounds like I'm talking to my self. After a few trys it will usually go through. If anyone has a fix that would be great.

I just started having this issue where my sound will not play thru my phone .I have to put call on speaker to be able to hear other person. .they hear me fine. Does this happen to anyone else?
The phone is set to silent, and while just sitting on a desk, the phone IS silent. Once I plug in my headset though, it reverts to audible notifications for ringtone, emails, texts, etc... and interrupts playback. The phone still shows that it is on silent, but it's not. Anyone else having this issue? It's not a "rooted" issue, I don't think, because it happened to me before I rooted. I'm not in need of an immediate fix, but it is a little annoyance.

I think you can set separate settings when something is plugged into the headphone jack. Just set it to silent while you have headphones plugged in and it will remember. Pretty sure that's right, someone correct me otherwise.

That's the whole point of both threads, this is not happening. Its set to silent and it keeps going off when a notification arrives.
