I flashed the PC10IMG and followed the instructions exactly.
When I go into bootloader, I see the error "loading PC10IMG wrong image".
What did I do wrong and how can I fix it?
Thanks.

I believe K.Bix is referring to the "official" radio thread in the development section.
Do you have engineering hboot? I'd recommend flashing the radio with fastboot. And don't forget to check the MD5 sums.

There are a few PC36IMG.zip files you can put on your SD card and go into HBOOT to flash it.
They're all over the place. kind of hard to find.
do you have a link by chance I have no luck with search

I rooted using unrevoked and unrevoked forever, but I wasn't able to flash cyanogenmod, so I read up on NAND unlock and flashed the PC36IMG.zip from toast's method, but now it always restarts into bootloader and i cant get the os to load. Please help!
You should already have nand unlocked if you did unrevoked. All you you need is the eng hboot fix. Flash that zip in recovery , you can find it in dev section, then you should be able to flash CM hope that helps

This happened to me also. Go into recovery, run the mod zip again. If that doesn't work for you, you never saw me.
when i go into recovery it says E:can't open /cache/recovery/command
so i dont know how to flash anything
oh I see well try running ruu then just do unrevoked one click and youll be set just when you try to flash CM again after that make sure you flash hboot fix or it won't work.
Edit
Just read your post carefully lol czn you go into bootloader

I had this exact issue after I loaded that PC136 file and installed it on my EVO. I wasn't able to do anything but load the bootloader. I finally had enough after 5 hours of no help, and found the shipping ROM and reinstalled the original ROM on my EVO.
i have since re-rooted and will not even dare to go back at this time to try that mess!
People can get you rooted, but they don't know how to get you out of a hole!

I am trying to reroot my htc desire using unrevoked. The first time i ran it it says This was a triump. After which it says failed to unlock nand flash. I re ran it a second time but this time it give me :failed to get root. Is your firmware too new. I did a search through google and it says that you have to do a factory reset before flashing. I did a factory reset and run unrevoked a third time but it still give the: failed to get root........Is your firmware too new. Any ideas? I’m re rooting because i had a usb bricked. I had follow instructions on this forum and was able to unbrick my phone. But now i can’t flash any rom other than RCHMix.

You can use adb, the context (I believe) would be 'flashimage recovery name-of-recovery-file.img'

Do you have the ENG SPL installed? If so, you can try:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Please be careful. By flashing your SPL without doing extensive research, you're at risk of turning your semi-brick into a permanent brick.
Look at this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wik..._Root_.2F_.22Permaroot.22.29_using_gfree_v0.5
Pay attention to section 4 (...it looks like gfree is used to install the new SPL too).
Edit: sorry I didn't read that you were unable to boot into your ROM.
