I was using Sense v2.0.0 for a while and noticed that the battery doesn't last that very long so I tried G-Lite v1.0.3 but I found G-Lite too basic. I tried flashing Sense v2.0.0 back but it gets stuck on bootloop. When I unlock the screen, a lot of processes freeze and need to force close. After I press the force close buttons on all of them, phone goes back to the Unity boot animation. Did G-Lite downgrade something? Whatever the problem is, I need your help!!! I want Sense v2.0.0 back. Thank you!

I flashed RCMix HD v5.1 Last night and everything was ok. Today I saw that RCMix HD v5.2 came out and I tried to flash this Rom, However everytime I got to boot, I get to the Screen Lock which I scroll down and it stays on the "HTC Logo". Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
Fixed, I just installed RCmix DH again. However all my contacts are screwed and it bugs out when trying to click on them and asks me to force close? Any Ideas how to fix this?
Yes wipe all and install again.
Go to the ROM thread and check the advices of the dev when upgrading from 5.1 to 5.2 (maybe he asked to do a full wipe first)
I have the Kingdom Gingerbread/Sense 3.0 rom, and last night it kept force closing Sense to the point where I couldn't even get to the homescreen ever. I could only use apps that were in the notification bar. I read that these problems work themselves out after a few hours of having the rom, so I let it sit over night, and when I woke up, I could receive no signal and there was still no hope of reaching the homescreen. It can't connect to the network at all, and I can't even try to do anything about it. Can anyone offer any help?
If you are simply wanting to check out all of the features of this ROM I would recommend you reflash it in recovery.
If you were expecting this ROM to be the least bit useful as Alpha then perhaps you should switch to a stable gingerbread ROM such as CyanogenMod and forget about sense 3.0 until they work out the bugs.
i am on uber kingdom gingersense and seems to be working good for me. I wiped everything and i flashed it in recovery. make sure you wipe everything and let it sit for a bit
Takes a while for everything to settle in.

Yeah, its def not on a daily driver level yet. I had no major issue, but just lagged for me... And how did we lose landscape support from 2.0 to 3.0? WTF
As long as you wipe all before flash you should be fine. give it sometime to load then restart a couple of times ( Power+ Vol Down+ Opt Mouse ) then i would reboot into recovery and fix permissions. Works well for me. Plus B1 is out now.
Hello,
I have Runnymede V.5 CM7 HBoot with 4EXT Recovery, 1GB EXT4 partitione running on HTC Desire. I have installed the ROM and it's amazingly fast and stable except for one problem, when I try to install apps from the Market after the app download is finished and when the installation start of the downloaded app the Sense reboots. And it keeps on doing that, thus consuming all my internet package because it keeps on downloading the package then installing then rebooting then redownloading then installing and so on....
I found somewhere in the forum that if I change the language the problem will be fixed, so I tried changing the language to English(UK) and English(US) to French, but still no luck. Same problem sense keeps on rebooting.
What exactly do you mean with "the sense reboots"? Do you mean the process or the phone or what?
It doesn't do a full reboot, I don't get the boot loader logo but when it reboots I get only the sense logo "Runnymede HTC logo" so that's why I guess the sense reboots and it's not a full reboot.
Do you have the phone overclocked?
I just started using runnymede and had the same issue until I took the overclock I was using down to stock speeds
I didn't have it overclocked before I installed the ROM, and I didn't play in the ROM settings. I don't know if the ROM overclock by default or not.
So check the CPU frequencies, e.g. with quick system info pro.
I am very happy with Runny Rom 6.1.1 as it gave new life to my HTC Desire. But I noticed that after a few days the phone gets really slow. Swiping though the home screens is no longer smooth and starting apps takes much longer. I am using Advanced Task Killer but even killing all running apps does not help.
Everything is smooth again after a reboot.
Anyone with the same problem and maybe a solution?
That's why cached app data is eating your ram. With all task managers all you do is switching of the app but cached data is still on. Try with V6 Supercharger script that can be run from Script Manager (google around and you'll find it, there's an explanation on Runny rom thread).

Thanks, I will try the script. I came across it before, when I was installing Runny Rom. But from its name I thought the script would do something with the battery
HTC Desire Runny Rom freezes on boot screen
I had the same problem, with Runny Rom 7.0 beta.
To make matters worse today the phone, frezzes at boot screen with the HTC logo!!!!!!
i cleared dalvik cache, nothing.
I installed Runny Rom ver. 6.1.1, cause it is more stable, but nothing!!!
The phone keeps freezing at the startup screen with the HTC logo. I have already waited from > 10 minutes so it cannot be CPU work load.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
After my first install of RunnyRom I had to wait about 15 minutes until it came up. I also thought it would hang, but I just had do wait longer.
Hey guys,
I talk for my girlfriend, because I mod her phone. She got a Desire Z. We rooted it, installed cwm (phone bought brand new and s-off) and flashed lots of firmwares. We stucked at the mildwild rom (gingerbread) and it worked perfectly. After a few months she decided to switch the rom and we had everything, from jelly bean to kitkat and we decided for the coolos gingerbread miui. The phone started getting slower and it had many force closes and I wasn't able to modify the launcher as she wanted (I wasn't able to fix all issues for landscape, if anybody knows a solution, please tell me) and we got back to the mildwild. But the random freezes didn't stop. We've got the following issues:
- if she installs a specific office app, the phone stucks in a bootloop
- phone randomly freezes
- issues are the same, even if we change to another custom rom
what we did:
flashed several roms and wiped dalvik cache
what we not did:
we didn't took a look into the logcat and we didn't try to flash a stock rom again.
edit: actually we record with CatLog the logcat.

logcat recording finished. Because of a missing pc, we recorded it with an app and I splitted it to 2 files.
I see nothing special, just some crashes in go launcher and miui lock screen...
We've got a new log (smaller one)
At the time of 16:05, the screen stopped reponding. If you turn on the screen, you can unlock it and do everything you want, if you got in the launcher, everything stops. You can change with the home button to another app, but you can't do anything in the app. It rotates without problems and you can make whatever you want in the lockscreen, but somewhere else nothing happens if you touch on the screen.
Also we've changed the Launcher from GO Launcher to Acelauncher.
