No market - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

Hi
I bought a galaxy s2 from china and when I opened the phone there was no market application.
I tried to download and instal a market apk from google and after I installed it, it asked from me to add an account, but when I go to settings->acounts there wasn't an option to add google account.
How could I install market aplication?
*I'm live in USA not in china

Download apk files on ur desktop then connect ur phone with pc as usb storage and transfer those apk files there in some folder and after that with the help of builtin explorer like MyFiles execute those apk files...

But how could I download myfile if I dont have market?

You can add a facebook account (if you havent already) and then go to appbrain and use your Facebook account to log on

http://www.multiupload.com/HBGM27MVF4
Download that and install on your phone.
Edit.
Sorry just read that you said your unable to add a Google account (just woke up). Maybe its the firmware your on.

Then the restrictions are at firmware level. Unless you want to keep your Communist phone as is, you are going to have to flash a different Rom. There are loads of tutorials if you havent done it before.

Easy Method to import your Contacts to XDAndroid

Hi all,
I want to share with you this simple method to import your contacts and other stuff from your WinMo OS to XDAndroid.
Follow these few steps:
1/ Boot your Raphael on Windows Mobile and sync with PC (with ActiveSync of course)
2/ On your PC, go to: http://my.funambol.com and create a free account.
3/ Download "funambol-outlook-sync-client.exe" to your PC and launch it.
4/ Enter your Login & Password just created and click on what you want to sync with MyFunambol.
5/ Boot your XDAndroid and go to the Market. Make a search for Funambol Sync.
6/ Download and install the app, then launch it.
7/ Enter again your Login & Password, then sync your Raphael with the server.
That's all.
(Another version of Funambol Sync is available for Windows Mobile too).
Enjoy.
Or,
1. Use Google Sync. Done.
if you don't have any contacts yet on ur googlemail account, you can use this method:
1. Use PPC PIM Backup and backup only contacts in *.csv format
2. Copy that *.csv file to ur computer
3. Import that *.csv contact to your google mail account.
4. Sync your android device to your google mail account.
5. Done

2.Just set under WinMo (Active Sync on Phone) google as Exchange Server log in with your google id and
sync contacts and what ever you want exept sms (will not work)
3. Just start Android and sync with your google account
once setup under winmo you never have to do it again becaus it's syncing under android and WinMo so this is perfect solution.
Or...
1.Copy contacts to SIM card.
2.Start Android.
3.Copy contacts from SIM.
They get synced to the Google account - done.
No programs needed.
Best thing about all these?
You only have to sync it once.

Not everyone has a SIM card my friend... This method would NOT work for me
Outlook
Since this method hasn't been posted yet I'll throw it in here
1. Export all contacts from Outlook as .csv (where you probably have them after sync with WinMo...) (select all contacts and choose send contact as vCard from context menu. Then a message is created with the .csv files attached to it. Now just select them all and drag&drop them to any folder)
2. Place the .csv files on mSD and import them from the XDAndroid contact-app...
P.S.: If you copy contacts to the SIM-card that contain more info than just a name and a phone-number, this data is either lost or written into another contact file (so you have multiple contacts of the same name each containing another piece of information...).
Not to speak of the fact that the memory on the SIM-card is pretty limited...

..I'm using Windows Live to store my contacts, so here is another tip:
go to people.live.com there you can export to *.csv from Manage>Export and then, you can import it to google account as described before..it's compatible

THANKS! this is the only wat that worked for me.... google sync asks for administrator domain to enable sync and i dont know what is that becaouse i use a gmail account.... lol ... thanks again now i have my contacts, appointments, tasks, notes, EVERYTHING synced.....
HI!
After much time spent in testing Sync apps that can syncronize my Gmail account with my Microsoft Office Outlook 2010, i've discovered the best way of doing it.
I used "gSyncIt", that i can sync contacts and calendar from Outlook<->Gmail. Then when i connect my Raphael with Android and turn Wi-Fi on, it sync with Gmail account
Unfortunately gSyncit is not freeware but i think is the best way to do the things the way i wanted.
Other but only for calendar is the "Google Calendar Sync", for those who doesn't know.
And another, and direct way to Sync the phone directly with Outlook by USB is Android Sync, but you need to install android-sdk-windows in your computer, boot with Haret but first make an ActiveSync connection in WinMo, so the PDA in Android can be recognized by the PC.
Hope i've helped many of you and make you happy as i am

Andorid-Sync

[Q] move from one account to another

Hello everybody,
I've used a temp gmail account (the famous one we all have for receiving spam) when I received and set up my Desire Z. The problem is that I've downloaded not many but nice applications (some are paid) and now I would like to restart from 0 and link my phone to a clean gmail account (and market account).
Is there any way of migrating one market account to another? basically having the apps downloaded or purchased under [email protected] migrated to [email protected]?
If not, anyway of retreiving apk's from my rooted phone and then installing them after a factory reset and a link to that new account? (was looking into /system/app but it seems like most of the apps are not in, nothing found on the sd)
Thank you in advance for helping me
what I suggest you do is just download the apps you paid for and keep the ones you have on your phone then migrate to the new gmail. You can do this by going in settings>applications>manage apps then (not sure if this is the right one) clear the cache on your market app. Open market and it will request you to login with your gmail. Do so with the new gmail and bammo! If you ever accidentally remove the paid apps, just login the old account again, so be sure to write down the info incase you forget later down the road.
Probably not the exact solution you were hoping for but it's the best I can come up with!
Note: If clearing market cache doesn't remove the logged in account, try clearing the cache of some other official google apps that require sync.
Note 2: doing this will not migrate your contacts, but you can always copy all your contacts from one account to another by logging into gmail on the pc and manually migrating them there.
Hope this helps!

I rooted my tab 3 7" T210. after that,i can't log in to my google account even I'm connected in the wifi and can surf the internet app...
I created a new account for google but after just a few seconds, it says that that account name is not available. and if i'musing my old one, it says bad connection.
I'm from philippines and I don't know if the problem is because of my previous firmware.
I tried getting the google play apk and google pllay services apk but i can't even log on to my google play account.
does anyone know the app for logging in my google account or what apk should I change in the system to make logging in successful

Yeah, I have that issue too on mine. I figure it is something to do with Google service not being native and the MIUI stuff being the defaults.
I just got it today, so I figure I just have to wait till Sunday to unlock, and flash the EU ROM.
I had to export my google contacts and import them into the native contacts app
This is at least a work around until maybe the final Global Rom is released and we see if it supports google's contact app
Goto -> h t t p s : / / www google com/contacts/u/0/?cplus=1 -> click more -> export
Save contacts.vcf to phone storage
On Phone goto Settings -> scroll down to system apps -> contacts -> import/export contacts -> import from storage
I had issues syncing google contacts with the Chinese ROM. I think installing 'google contact sync' via apk from apk mirror solved it (there is also a Google calendar sync). I can't quite recall as I'm now on eu rom and everything works perfectly.
Installed EPICRom, and everything is perfect now.
MIUI 9 and all Google Services are working
I installed the EU MIUI, and everything works as well.

Can't log into Google from HTC 10

Hi, a few weeks ago I tried to get a new app so went to my Google Play account and it wouldn't let me open it, kept asking me to log in. Anyway I eventually left it as it was driving me nuts but since then none of my apps will update and none of my Google accounts will backup, the most important one being my photos. I can't use Google to seach either. I can log in to my account on all other devices just not my phone. I also tried to connect my phone to my laptop to backup my photos as I'm thinking I'm going to have to do a hard reset but all my older photos were showing but not the newer ones that I have taken and you can view on my phone.
Can anyone help as this is driving me crazy.
Thanks

What are you using to view your files? A file explorer or HTC Sync Manager? I would use the former.
If that doesn't show all your stuff, then I would use TWRP to backup everything or to copy files onto an external SD card and then plug that into the computer to copy everything before running an RUU and resetting everything, which is what I would do.
