CM7 Increase max MMS size question. - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I was wondering if it was possible to increase the max size of an mms sent from the stock mms app in CM7. Whenever I send a picture through the stock mms app the image quality is reduced so low that the image becomes blurry. Handcent and GoSMS have options to increase the mms size.
I used to have the original incredible and I never had this issue with the stock cm7 mms app. I have been searching like crazy for a fix for this. I really prefer the stock mms app over any on the Android Market.
It seems that 1 MB or 1.2 MB would work well. That is what I am currently using in Handcent.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me!

Does anyone know how to increase the mms size limit over the 300k already in stock messaging settings, without using a 3rd party app.?

MMS only 20 KB?

Any idea why all MMS I receive or send is at most 20-25 KB large?
Is there a way to increase this size? I believe 128 kb is the most that can pass thru MMS.
I'm rooted with Mr. X stock 2.3.6, and switched around APN's, all with the same results.
Thanks!

you should replace stock messaging app with Go sms anyways, it's way better feature wise, in customizability, and pretty much everything else
Works on Monhk's new rom.

[Request] Uncompressed Mms on or off

I know there's a couple different uncompressed Mms, but, is there any chance someone can make it an option to enable or disable it in mms options? I'm asking because the common issue, some people can't receive uncompressed Mms and have a tiny max receive size. So that would mean having to put stock mms back every time you want to send someone else an image..

Picture messages look like garbage. *assistance, please.

I've used a couple of modified MMS apk's and nothing seems to help. I first noticed while sending screenshots. Then for testing, I sent myself a few full size photos taken with the camera. Still look like crap.
Is there a way to fix this? Is there an AOSP messaging app I should be using? I've had all the galaxy phones, all the nexus phones and I recall, I think, that I used to use an aosp MMS apk to resolve my issue. I'm currently using a modified tw mms apk that claimed to increase file size limits, other limits, etc.. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.
Any help towards reaching the goal of high quality, not low res/pixelated MMS messages would be greatly appreciated. Stock TW would be nice but not adverse to using aosp MMS.
Thank you for your time.

im pretty sure picture messages are compressed before they are sent, which means a downgrade in quality.
How much of a downgrade is normal? someone else should be able to answer that better then me

I agree.
They look so bad, I won't even send MMS anymore. Today I emailed a couple of pictures to a friend. Which is horribly inconvenient for the recipient.

I guess it depends on how the Rom is tweaked. Mms pictures work fine on the wicked Rom.
