I am AFCAjax, I follow the XDA forum for about 2 years now. Before I bought my One X I have had an Desire. The ROMs for the One X are mostly 3 times as big as the ROMs for the Desire, and it's important to have a good download speed. Without waiting and annoying advertisements (except the ones from the devs), think about uploadsites like Hotfile/RapidShare/MegaUpload(jk.).
I see that many devs have problems with uploading the ROMs. Think about the costs/slow speed/ads etc. So I thought, let's make a .torrent thread. I have an upload speed of ~3,3MB/s. It would take about 5 minutes for me to share a ROM.

Would love to see a alternate upload mirror for stock RUU roms. I have high speed internet and each time I go to link posted for download here in the thread hell it says 3hours to download each time. LOL!

I have 23 gigs of extra space would dropbox work? I dont want to offend football or anyone, he doesnt specify no mirroring so im assuming its ok. Sometimes you can find mirrors by searching the filename using google.

I will make a list of RUU's, I start downloading them now slow speed. After that I make them .torrent, and we have high speed!
EDIT: First I will ask Football if he would love to, maybe I can help him get faster downloads.
Wouldn't it be more usefull to add magnet links instead of torrents. It saves you another uploading site and they can be easily converted to a torrent again.
(utorrent -> right-mouse on torrent -> copy magnet-URI)
The jdroid url would look like this: (which should of course be renamed.)

I can´t recommend to download over another link or torrent, if the rom creators relly agree to that, because some wanna count their downloads, some wanna earn some points or cents for a number of downloads from their account and there are many other reasons. It´s the decision of the developer, so it would be fair to ask everyone at 1st and if they agree, you can post the link here.

can we still add torrents for the new ROMs? 5GB thru a web browser can take a while if allowed I have N960FXXS5DTB6_N960FOXM5DTB6_BTU good to go.
Please note that I have been trying to download from the links mentioned in the tread of FXP 142, however I tried since 2009 & never made it to download, therefore I would like from [Free-Xperia Project] to give me another link which allows me to download even if I have to wait for a whole week.
I wished & dreamed to download from the [Free-Xperia Project] so that I could experience the stability of their ROMs since I had the HD2 but it seems that I cannot prosper with the links added!

Hi @metaljoker,
I can only think of 2 things that could be a problem: -
The 1st is that your internet acces is some-how not allowing you to get to the download sites.
If this is a problem you can try using "nyud.net" at the end of the domain name - so
you can try http://ul.to.nyud.net/f/wygnaf instead of http://ul.to/f/wygnaf
or http://rapidgator.net.nyud.net/folder/1162004/FXP142_CM10.html instead of http://rapidgator.net/folder/1162004/FXP142_CM10.html
The 2nd thing is that you may have cookies disabled on your browser.
If this is the case you can try enabling cookies for the download sites.

Ops, soory my mistake dev sir But when i upload this information orginal thread was not their. Thats why i upload this because rom was realised on 10-07-2017 and i thought its not offical announced on xda.Never the less.
