No Go = just a big black screen
Tested and working [see attached]. Taken from here.
Though it's not the best animation I've seen, the sound isn't sync'd very well.
I'm sure some image editing could be done to get it working better (but it won't be done by me).

That makes it a lot easier then. Although, I'm still partial to the D2 R2-D2 one.
Might as well wait until GB when they can play with the GPU and do nicer things.

I was thinking of basing it on EE03, using lightsabers for the signal bars, adding the D2 R2-D2 wallpapers and clock widget, and using the 8 lockscreen mod. And as of right now, the color scheme basically consists of black and dark yellow (to match the star wars logo).

Just a suggestion ... either base on EC05 or wait until "official" GB is released since it seems EE03 still has a few glitches on some things , but that's just my opinion ... I'm just HAPPY someone is willing to do this THX

is it possible? i have done some research and the only app i can find that does this does not support our phones. Boot manager pro is the name of it and the other one i found only supports the overseas SG2. I would like to mess with other roms but just hate having to flash back and forth.
I wish I could be of some help because I am very interested in the same. I have also searched for a way. Grub4android?? lol. Now that would be great!!

You should try an app called switchMe from the market its free and seems to work with our phone I can not say that much about the app yet I have not tried it out yet but I think it should work

That was based on an OG Epic kernel Rodderik who created a dual booting kernel but the setup procedure was so complex it was over most of our heads

Thanks for all the replays. so i am assuming there is no dual booting for our phones as of yet. also i have not been able to get switchme to work either it just reboots into the same main profile... i dont know if the latest update supports our phone though. last i read it doesnt.

You can nandroid ... then flash then restore ... won't take that long like 5 mins
just wondering when you nand backup does that backup all the apps,messages, contacts, login info , etc.... or only the current rom wiped?
yes it backs up everything.
When you restore a nandroid are you also restoring the kernel and rom?
Or does it just restore your apps/data?
For instance -- Can I nandroid, wipe, flash blazer rom and then restore and have all my data + apps on Blazer?

Im seeing a couple threads and apps on here with no update.zip, I know I like to use update.zips, helps me keep files I want in a form I can easily use and save.
Anyways this uses the hacked S Voice that does not require the modding of your build.prop (which breaks so many apps and functions on your phone). It will remove the original voicetalk.apk and remove vlingo.apk if you have it installed. so this is pretty much a universal patch now for phones that will work with S Voice.
It is also recommended to change you language and input settings.
1.System settings/ language and input/ voice recognition, now set this to Samsung powered by Vlingo.
2. Under voice search do the same if you have more than one option.
3.Text-to-speech output, you can change this to either Google text-to-speech, or SamsungTTS. I am using SamsungTTS atm and its working perfect.

Nah version 2 should be good for you, v3 only removes the other files that the user would have to remove before installing S Voice, which many arnt aware they have to, so v3 solves that problem and should cut down on some questions around here

Here's what I did.
-Was running Cynogenmod Alpha 4
-Odined to EL26 CWM
-Installed Cynogenmod Alpha 4 again via zip in the recovery
-Installed this Zip
And it worked perfectly.
There are a few bugs with S voice, crashes when you click OK to search the web, but I'm loving it, thank you so much for the release!
I thought Samsung blocked it for non SG3s though? Good job!
This is a Port based Off Romann Bulletproof Rom, I am simply posting it so it can be worked on, or laid to rest....
Anyone can do what they will with this Rom, I do not plan on working on it, nor start working on it again.... Plain & simple I forgot about it until I saw the Sense thread...

So this is a port of the Sensation ROM? I definitely didn't expect to see something like this, whether it works or not... lol.
Any particular reason you decided to post this? Not in a bad way, I'm just surprised to see a Sense ROM brought over (non functional) with no intention for it to be worked on... lol. And I imagine that people are probably hooked on ICS right now, although I do kinda miss Sense... lol.
