I got the case yesterday and it is exactly the same as the Amzer Luxe Argyle TPU case. It fits like a glove.

Did you get the black one? If so, is it actually black or is it just the smoke grey one?
Either way I'm glad to hear it's not a knock off, or it's at least a high quality knock off, so I don't have to wait for Amzer to get them in stock. Thanks.

I got the "black" one. It's not really black it's a smoke grey but with the phone in it it does look like dark grey/ black. It's a good quality case and doesn't add much bulk. For the price it's a steal.

- Fit seems good except for a loose spot on the lower lip that you can see in the picture.
- The covered buttons are a little harder to push.
- Tapping/swiping and pushing the lower buttons around the edges of the case seems fine. I read some cases make it harder...

I got a new wind screen for my CBR 600RR from Hong Kong and it took 21 BUSINESS days to get to Illinois, so over a month. After that I refuse to buy from there unless it's like an insane price difference and I don't care if I ever get it.

Ymmv obviously, but for me this took 10 days (ordered 8/28, received 9/7) to ship to California.

so i bought the 3.99 case off this seller (free shipping from Hong Kong...and i'm in Canada) and it arrived 5 days later (on friday...ordered on Sun. also ordered a Realook shield the same day and arrived on Fri as well (US shipper)). great product so far, haven't played with it much yet. the back is a bit glossy but it did provide enough grip in my hand and on common surfaces.

the bottom of mine is a bit looser than your hot water bended version (lol...how was that done exactly? sounds like something from Avatar the cartoon)

Tips for putting it on:
A) Do the front, back, then top/bottom pieces. Sides definitely last.
B) Use a lot of liquid on the pieces so you can move them around easily. Then when applying pressure to get it to stick/dry, use a paper towel to press down so the liquid gets pushed out and soaked up immediately (so it doesn't go INSIDE your phone).
C) By FAR the best tip: Once a piece is mostly dry and set, use a hair dryer to really glue it on (the adhesive on BSE skins only works as it dries). This makes application MUCH faster.

How's the orange peel? I used to have BSE on my blackberry. Good skin but I could always notice the orange peel.

Saw that too, Loved it on my Nexus...it does have some orange peal but not as bad as Zaggs. But if you "like" BSE on facebook they normally have coupons posted up for 15% off ever other weekend so im waiting on that

Whole body, used it on my G1 and loved it. Ended up only doing the face, but I've had my G1 since release and the skin only has a tiny bit of peeling on one edge due to me flipping the keyboard out there constantly, and otherwise looks brand new!

These should be going out this week so when someone gets theirs could you please post some pic's... I really wanna see how it looks, big part being with the rubber on these phones... thanks guys

I haven't noticed any orange peel on my N1. Hopefully that's the case with all their products, since the N1 skin is the only one I've used.

For $7.17 you can't go wrong. I picked up this case with a price match at Fry's Electronics. Originally Frys wanted $14 for the case. Its nice and it does its job well. It has the magnetic closures that also brings it out of sleep when opened, a very handy.

I just bought a similar one (in black) for $5.99. If it's the only item you're buying, it'll cost about $15 total (shipping). Free shipping on orders over $35. Luckily, I had another purchase to bundle with it.

dbrand skins are out for Xperia Z3 Compact ( and Z3 )

Since this beautiful handset tends to be prone to scratches (there are a lot of reports on small scratches which are a rare thing if the glass is Gorilla Glass) because Sony wanted to cut corners for the price and therefore not using a scratch resistance glass for the back nor the front, I recommend every z3c user to use a skin for both sides to apply a better protect for their expensive purchase which also helps with the self cracking issue and also the very sensitive touch response.

The best of the skins makers I think is dbrand and they just released their awesome product for z3c and z3 as well. They are very customizable to differentiate your device, with great quality and a very easy and precise method to apply and are well priced IMO.
I recommend every Z3C user to apply skins on both glass sides to decrease the worries about cracks and scratches.

Can you point me to a bac tempered k glass protector, I found the Ultimate Shield Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Sony Xperia Z3 Compact for £9.99
So I'm not sure whether to go for a glass on the back too? probably do need a vinyl protector which should make it less slippery.
How thick is your phone now with all the protectors on?

My phone fits in the Ringke Fusion case without to many probrems.

Sweet! just ordered the matte back. I had one of these for my nexus 4 and loved it. made a big difference for me.

Hi, i'm interested to black "carbon fiber": using sometime a Puro Ultraslim 0.3 and a Nillkin super frosted shield i need to know the thikness of dbrand skin. With a standard back protector i have no problem, but with a Rhinoshield (about 0.27mm of thickness) i don't have perfect fit. I would like also to buy a Rigke Fusion (for outdoor use): anyone has dbrand carbon under a Fusion protection?

Has anyone got their skins in the mail yet? I ordered two on Nov 18th and they emailed me on Nov 20th saying they were released from the warehouse, but I haven't received them yet. I ordered something from Hong Kong the same day I ordered the skins and I got the Hong Kong item a couple days ago.

I have the same problem here... although I'm living in germany. My order was supposedly released on the 18th of November, and the ETA to Germany is 1-2 weeks, so its 1 week over its time...

Same situation with my skin. I'm afraid it will be exactly the same situation I had last year: ordered at the end of November, delivered to Poland around January the 10th ;(

I have always waited a pretty long time(I'm in the US) to get my order from them even after it says it's been released, considering they add $3 for shipping and it comes in an envelope with a stamp it should be faster. Now saying that their skins are very high quality. I think the company is probably 1-3 people and this is a side business so that could be the reason.

I haven't gotten mine either. I ordered on the first day it came out and my order was released from warehouse on the 18th but nothing yet. I'm on ConUS west coast. I've sent them an e-mail as a reply to the warehouse e-mail and through their website form but no response. I tweeted them yesterday and they said to e-mail but that they were migrating services or something and that their support was backlogged by 3,500 emails.
Seeing all the e-mails above aren't really reassuring though. Wonder what's up.

First post--have lurked here and learned so much great info.
It was this forum that clued me in to DBrand skins. I ordered two, but like many here--no shipment, no reply to polite email inquiry either. They must be busy but it seems that there are at least 5 of us here who all ordered approximately the same time--and none have yet received product, all are past longest estimated ship time and all have been charged. Really wish DBrand shipped with tracking info. Without that, I have no way of knowing if they were really shipped, lost in the mail, etc.
Am still hoping the skins show up, but am shocked it takes a month to get a letter from Canada to Ohio. Not a great 1st impression.

They had and probably still have problems with sending mails. Check their FB page for more info.
Regarding shipment time, according to my local post office (a piece of information from an owner of the place) shipment from Canada to Europe within 7-14 days is super optimistic, if not impossible. That's of course if dbrand is using the cheapest mail delivery option, their mail should come via ship, we shall expect more like 30-40 shipment time in Europe.

I got the metal series from slick wraps. I ordered it 10 days ago and it still hasn't even shipped! I wish dbrand had a better price or I'd cancel and order from them.

Will there be skins from Skinit or decalgirl for the pixel 3? I always got those. sad though they haven't offered it yet.

Good luck with slick wraps, they take forever to ship.

I asked slick what the deal was, since their site says "in stock", but it also says "pre-order". There response was "we need to get the phone first, and then make them." So yeah, they ain't even made them yet, and apparently can't until they have a phone in hand.

Has anyone received a skin for the Pixel 3 from either Slickwraps or Dbrand? The dbrand wesbite still says pre-order, and slickwraps straight lied to me when they said my item hasn't shipped because they were "busy".

I've seen the Dbrand skin in a couple of YouTube reviews so they've clearly already started producing them but probably not in big numbers yet.

You would think if they had a template to make 10, then could easily make 100. There aren't THAT many Pixel 3 owners yet.

dbrand is absolutely trash with shipping. I ordered some skins from them that said in stock for my note 9 and it took 6 weeks to get.. their customer service is extremely slow to respond and they said they have slow shipping times during "sales"
they run a sale every. single. day. and to top it off, they don't let you cancel the order either. you just have to wait it out.

Seems like there two main companies are practically the same. I'm not impressed with how slowly they are shipping when I placed my order 3 weeks ago!

I will say the quality of the skins are amazing! Just be prepared to wait well past what they say is your ship date.

It seems like both dbrand and slick wraps are preselling inventory they don't have yet. I just wish it wasn't taking so long to stock up.
EDIT: @slickwraps it has now been 20 days since I placed my order and I have not received any notification for shipment. There needs to be better communication if stock is an issue.

I just went back to the dbrand website and it seems that the "preorder" banner has disappeared. This should mean, that they have it in stock now. I'm still hoping that my skin will arrive more or less together with my pixel 3.
Edit: just got my shipping notification. Should arrive within 15 days. Perfect timing for me.

My slickwraps naked skin was shipped yesterday. Should arrive later in the week. Never used one of their naked skins before so we'll see.

I have received my shipping notice today. Thank you for your help.

Got my slickwraps yesterday. Was super bummed out it didn't fit as it was shown in the pic. Instead of just covering the back, it was a full wrap. Never again.

What were you expecting, just the back covered and not the sides? All skins do that, with a couple special exceptions like the natural series which can't be bent.
