[Q] Stock Headphones replace? :) - Galaxy S II Accessories

Hi, I really quite like the headphones that came with the galaxy s2, I have tried to find this out for my self, but I couldn't find anything relevant. Does anyone know where I could buy a replacement set of stock Samsung headphones from please?
The only reason I am eager to get them again is because I tend to break headphones with in a few weeks (it doesn't matter where they were expensive or cheap), but the Samsung ones have lasted me 3 months. Thanks very much

[Q] Samsung I9000 replacement headphones

Hi,
I have a Samsung I9000 and have lost the headphones. (My Labrador dog found them very tasty!)
I tried purchasing some more generic ones as the Samsung web site does not have any.
The new headphones have a single button on them. When you press the button, the headphone volume is OK. When you release the button the volume goes very low and not clear at all.
Does anyone know where in the UK I could get some replacement headphones that actually work?
I need the headphones to work and also the FM radio to work.

this is original samsung accessoire, but they are better than stock
may be reffered as "Galaxy Tab P1000 Headphones", but they are suitable for i9000
1. Accesories thread.
2. Why replacement? on eBay you'll find original...
eBay is your best bet.
any nokia headset would do too... it has something to do with the way the contacts are arranged in the plug.. the thing you are describing about the volume when you press the button is because of that, if you use the samsung headset on a blackberry or an iphone the same should happen... let's say there are two kinds of headsets, motorola, blackberry, iphone goes one way and nokia, samsung go the other with the sgs1, do not buy the headsets from sgs2 or galaxy tab10.1, because they are the same kind of the moto/blackberry/iphone.
and i think i read somewhere that there is a connector that allow the use of the other kind.
hope this helps.
(anyone feel free to correct me)
Thanks francescopp, you are correct, to get earphones for SGS you must buy Nokia/SGS spec. It is the connections to the four pin plug that differ in the two systems, and the only adapter that I've seen was made as a four connection plug with a four connection socket on the back, obviously with pin reversal wired in. The only problem was the length that the plug/socket plus the earphone plug stuck out of the top of the phone, making it prone to damage.
You may want to wait for this pair of headphones: a-Jays One+
These headphones will definitely work with SGS and are far much better than stock ones. Reviews of a-Jays One, Two and Three are generally very positive.
They are coming out this month I think.
Hi I have one original still in un packed. If you want I can sell you. Drop me a reply with your contacts in pm.

Well, I found some P1000 Headphones, that even have Samsung written on them.
They do not work with the I9000.
They have "EHS24ATSBE" written on them.
I will search for another set...

Earbuds don't work on my R800x (and other Xperia phones)?

The stock Samsung earbuds that came with my Galaxy Player 5.0 don't work with my R800x or Xperia X10 but my Sennheiser HD203 does. I'm assuming it's cause the Samsung earbuds have 3 prongs while the HD203 only has 2. Is there any way to get my Samsung ones working? Or do I have to get a new pair of earbuds? Was thinking of Skullcandy Ink'd just cause they're cheap.

you can buy a adapter or it may work if you only plug it in half way.

Thanks. I'll either do that or go with the Skullcandys cause the Samsung earbuds are on their way out anyway.
By the way, since the topic is still here, can you tell me why the Amazon Appstore is killing my phone? Earlier I tried getting some apps from it since I got a lot of games from the daily deals, then lag and freezing that made the phone unusable started. Decided to factory reset and start clean but it happened again. Know what's up with it?

Decent budget bluetooth speakers for under £50

I am looking for bluetooth speakers for my galaxy note 10.1, i am not wanting to spend more than £50, can anyone recommend any?
I'd like them to be mains operated as i will want them in the one place, i don't want to be messing with batteries all the time.
thanks

Not sure how this works out price-wise, or if it is available to you, but I got this one and really like it. Can also be used as a speaker phone.

Why not just get a Bluetooth Audio adapter and then you can connect to any set of speakers, I have the logitech adapter and it works awesome:

Im after a Sound Bar for my Samsung D8000 and would love to know how my Note 10.1 could work with it in terms of streaming music to it.

Using non-Samsung headphones?? Please help!

So I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II and it doesn't seem to work with my unbranded headphones (which do work). Is it because the headphones have to be Samsung to be compatible with their phones? Why is this, and is there a way around this?
I was thinking of getting some high quality over-ear headphones, however I'd obviously like them to work with my phone too! Any help appreciated!!
It doesn't have to be.

I've been using Apple EarPods for weeks (just got the Note 2) and it doesn't have any problem. Does the original Samsung earphones the only thing works on your device?
I regularly use Beyerdynamic DT250 headphones which have a 3 pole minijack, and recently purchased a pair of soundmagic e10c which has a 4 pole minijack, both work flawlessly, before that I was using xiaomi piston.
Do you have the original Samsung Note II Cover Protection Shell? It allows only for very slim headphone minijacks. Most headphone plugs are to wide behind the threepole, thus they do not enter the headphone jacket far enough. Try Your headphones without the Samsung Cover Case. If they work, then widen the entry of the Cover Case with a pair of Scissors or something similar.

Samsung Keyboard Dock for N-8010

I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has the keyboard dock for the n-8010 that you're no longer in need of, I'm interested in purchasing one. I believe it's Samsung part EKD-K14AWEGTGY or perhaps EKD-K14UWEGSTD would work as well.
All of the docks in eBay are for Galaxy Tab 10.1 and those won't work.
Hi, I have one. I bought it a few years ago, but I think you will be disappointed: is almost useless. When you connect the dock, the soft keyboard always comes up (at least with the original rom). This is very annoying. I don't know if it works better with other roms. Maybe I know that soon, because I am fed up with the original rom: more and more websites don't work properly anymore. I'm trying to install Lineage, but I still have to do some reading...
Oh, and if I remember well, the key buttons are of poor quality: often you will get a character twice. Like this: Hoow aare youu?
But I do live in the Netherlands, so that's a long way for you.
Ffonz.
If you do make the change to Lineage, you'll have a feature that will allow you to quickly switch the on screen keyboard on and off. It's a good OS and I am happy with it. By now, I'm almost ready to replace my Note 10.1 with something that has more than 16gb of storage, even though I still like this tablet.
