How i backup orginal rom.I know nandroid or rom manager make this.but rom manager dont support WFS and i can not find nandroid recovery please help me
Install CWM from alquez, backup works perfectly!
You can back up using the app MybackupPro, or clockwork recovery found by powering off, and then holding vol down and power button at the same time, then click recovery, then backup/restore.

So can i also get rom image ?
The backup (nandroid) is a complete image of your phone in it's current state.

Hi there, I currently have a desire HD that is rooted, s-off and clockwork mod installed. However before I install a (CM6) I was wondering if I do a nandroid backup of my current stock rom. If i then install CM6 then say I want to go back to the stock rom do I simply launch rom manager again then restore from back up? Is that it?
Thank you very much for your time!
Yes, as simple as that.
It just sound..well all to easy Haha! So simply back up using titanium then nandroid install Rom from sd then say I make a back up of this non-stock Rom and then boot into recovery again and restore using backup of original Rom everything will be back to normal? (would there be any chance I could restore again using back up of the Rom I downloaded and it'll be back in that version again?) Thanks!

Hi! I would like to confirm on how to make a nandroid backup on the Defy using CM7 RC0.
Do I go to custom recovery and make a nandroid backup from there? Thanks.
Yes you need to go to custom recovery..from there u can make a nandroid backup..
after making backup reboot once before proceeding to flash a ROM..
All the best
Thank you very much for confirming that for me.
How do i go to custom recovery? I can only boot to stock recovery without backup option. Do i need to install anything?
edit: solved! just need to press vol- when blue led lights up during boot.
I installed yesterday Alliancerom but I wanted to go back to another customrom install and I have done that but I've got the problem with Recovery mod TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) me here you for helping me to see TWRP not received please
Can you please describe precisely what the problem is? Do you have problems getting into recoverymode? Or do you want to restore an older nandroid backup from a previous install of another custom Rom?

Ok, if I understand correctly you have a rooted phone, and you have tried a CWM recovery, then made a nandroid backup. Then decided to flash TWRP Recovery, and with this recovery you are unable to restore your first nandroid backup, correct?
So you used to have cwm recovery then? Backups made in cwm are not compatible with twrp so you'll need to flash cwm again before you restore your backup. You can find cwm in the Original Android Development section.

I have a problem with my cellphone,
I install cyanogenmod but i am stuck with the boot logo and its not moving from here.
I tried to go to the recovery mod but I cant access it
I did to a backup of my rom but whitout the access to the recovery mod i d'ont know what to do ?
Can you help me ?
Thanks
(sorry for my english)
How are you trying to access CWM ??
pull the battery. ..then after placing it back in. .
Hold volume up / home button / and power button all at the same time. ..
You should boot the recovery. ..
If not. ..your recovery may be gone. ..
If so. ..boot into download mode. ...volume down / home button / and power. ...then odin push the recovery again. ..g
Thanks for your help, I finnaly access the recovery mod.
But I still have a problem. When I am trying a complete reboot from my external card it say: «Error while flashing backup image»
What can I do for that ?
Remove the SD card...
Place it into the PC with a card adapter. Then download a fresh rom and place it on the card..
Then put the card into the phone and flash using recovery. .
You may have a bad copy. .
Odin could also push a factory build via PC as well. ..g
If you can access download mode Flash your rom using odin from link below and do factory reset in recovery.

And how??
You could make a complete backup of your current system ( should always do and save to the desktop) or just the recovery. Open TB go to backup and recovery, scroll down til you find the recovery and click on it.

absolutely no need
the recovery comes with official roms, are always bundled with the rom itself
samsung have made it quite funny, as every time you flash samsung's original rom
it erase everything and install it's own stuff
(which is including erasing everything in the internal memory)
if you use a custom rom, you don't ever need the old recovery
it's function is too limited
I didn't know that flashing the stock rom will revert also to the stock recovery
Thanks
By the way, I didnt find backing up reovery in TB
Does anyone have the link to download TWRP 2.7.0.0 ? I can't access my USB storage with 2.6.3.0. I need it for the GT-N5110. Thank you in advance.
