[Q] sending mms with froyo 2.2

I've updated my Evo to the froyo 2.2 rooted stock version (my phone is rooted and unlocked) with the new radio and winmax. Everything working as it should except for sending and receiving mms. I can sent and receive a text from a person but can't receive or sent to the same person a pix via sms. I've tried , chomp, handcent with no luck. am I doing something wrong or is it blocked somewhere?

Help! No sms after root and several mods (bravoc)

Not sure which mod did it but currently us the us cellular 2.2 rom and my stock backup rcv txt but no mms. miui and cm7 don't get text or mms.
I really like cm7 and want to keep using it however no mms is terrible and no text is a deal breaker.
Tried one radio update to an older stock with 0 effect and restored my apn list with a stock one from my carrier (mobipcs, Hawaii only) also with 0 effect.
Any ideas on what might be wrong?
Also one more piece of info...
One of the Roms I installed was in the form of an exe that flashed the us cellular mod and unrooted the phone.
I appreciate any input or ideas.

[Q] [CDMA] Problems with sms

I use a small carrier here in Hawaii called MobiPCS, they carry the HTC Desire. It's an awesome phone however they are slow as hell with updates. They are still stuck on 2.1. For a while i used the no radio USCC pre rooted 2.2 update but decided i wanted some custom rom awesomeness... First i installed Cyanogenmod 7 on my phone and all was wonderful until i noticed i was unable to receive SMS. Sending was no problem but people weren't able to send them to me. Reflashed the rom and still encountered the same problem. Tried Oxygen and MIUI but still was unable to receive SMS. Sadly for some odd reason my 2.2 backup was corrupt and now I am stuck back at 2.1 as the link for the 2.2 upgrade is now down
Just wondering if anybody had any ideas how to fix the SMS problem or if they had a copy of the pre rooted 2.2 uscc no radio update.

Im having the same problem with in coming text, been asking mobi about the carrier
info. there is a fix but you need cdma working software and need to flash it to the phone from a computer. its a big undertaking. but they also said theres a couple places in town that unlocks phones that maybe able to do it for you. One place is at village market the dvd place there they also sell unlocked phones...but if you want 2.2 they will give it to you at mobi i have 2 desires they did it no problem.

Sprint MMS

I have a Sprint HTC M8 , S-off and bootloader unlocked. Also have super CID, with latest Sprint Firmware. Whenever I flash an AOSP Lollipop ROM, I can never get MMS to work. I have tried getting an APN app, and manually setting it. I have used hangouts and the stock messaging app. I have MultiRom, and a GPE ROM works perfectly fine. I don't understand why AOSP will have issues with MMS. I could have sworn I seen Sprint users have success with it. My Profile and PRL are all up to date too. Any help would be great! I really want to run some Lollipop goodness!

MMS issues with root

Hey all,
I wanted to confirm with anyone that has a rooted Verizon Pixel if it isn't just me who is having issues sending picture and group texts...I can receive them but not send which is strange to me....?
Anyway, I did multiple things to confirm that it is root that is causing this issue I have. I didn't believe it was rooting that caused it. But I am 99.9% certain. I went back to stock to confirm twice. Meaning I sideloaded the original Marlin P firmware with out root and with root. Everytime I re-rooted my mms issues reappear. So I am not sure what is going on.
I didn't want to go into chainfires root thread to let him know that it most likely is the cause.
I just want to confirm with anyone else on a Verizon Pixel with an unlocked bootloader that has root access.
I am not sure if a logcat would catch anything like that? Can someone let me know if that would please?

I also have a rooted Verizon pixel that I am using with at&t, and I cannot receive MMS messages at all. They never download, and always end up showing, "failed to download." I had the same problem on a rooted MetroPCS lg k7 used on at&t.

I'm rooted on Verizon, no MMS issues. On the APN type I added MMS

I have tried to add mms in apn settings. No go. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it.
When rooted it does not work. Unrooted works just fine.
