Hello to all,
The new version of djdroid is wonderful but....any way to insert an adblock?
I have downloaded the app from market but I'm confused about usage.

Yeah doesn't work on desire.Try searching for the update hosts file on hee. It's posted in many of the ROM threads - does the same thing - you flash the zip from recovery and Robert is your Mum's brother
Can you give me a link?
I have searched a lot but without any result
Thanks

I'm not on my home pc to upload the file. Its called "ad blocking host file" which you flash in recovery. I posting the file in the official sense froyo rom thread, but can't remember what post it is. Do a search for it.

However I tried to flash this via clockworkmod recovery and I get "can't mount system" - disappointed as I thought I had rooted yesterday using unrevoked.

Try it manually.
Extract the host file, type "mount /system" in the recovery adb shell and if that works, push it to /system/etc/hosts.
Any way to push files directly from phone and without using adb?

Sorry, resolved this now. Please re-download
Thanks!!!
Now works very well.
A question now: is now possible or necessary to update the file via adfree o will I attend for a new version from you?
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
Up to you. AFAIK Adfree just uses the MVPS hosts file, I personally use that and Peter Lowe's list that blocks more adtracking sites etc.
Sorry, I don't understand :-(
I have android from 3months and don't know all
Thanks again for your help

Has anyone found the Modded Adobe Flash Library file for the newest Market Version (10.1.106.16) yet?
I heard it was floating around unrevoked's IRC channel, but I have yet to see it pop up.
Patiently waiting in the mean time.

Here you go. All packaged up with Hulu. Make sure you update Adobe in the market first.

You don't need a modified flash file. The zip file attached above contains everything you need. Pay attention to the last sentence in the post. You NEED to download the latest version of Flash Player from the marketplace. After you do that install the file you downloaded above from recovery.

Doesn't work. I updated Adobe in the market, then downloaded this .zip and installed it via recovery and now I get "Hulu is not supported on your platform".

Check your path for the libflashplayer.so file.
Is it data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib?
You could always try ripping the .so file out of the zip and just pushing it with root explorer or adb.
I tried doesn't work for me either... I tried doing it both ways.

Root explorer method I mentioned above worked for me. I'll try and see if I can get the update script working.
I tried the root explorer way it didn't work for me still get the error.
Ok it works it just doesn't survive a reboot.

Working for me even after a reboot. Wonder if it's ROM related? Are you running an AOSP? Anyway, I'll tinker with it a bit more and see if I have any luck.
Yep I'm on aosp 2.3.2. Either way thanks I can deal with doing it manually.

hacked ass EVO. Mikg 2.58/aggresive freedom .9 universal
don't get what that would do. I have root and s-off. I'm using brads lastest rooted stock rom. Maybe I'm missing what your saying. Could you be clearer, I know a little but am still fairly dumb in these matters. I usually wait for dev to make nicely packaged zips or what not
Just wondering if its the same method as the o.g evo. I tried to root it once but I needed to updated my adb, but should I use the kingdom root method or will revolutionary work for it as well? Also what roms will work on it?

how about to make alternate boot stock rom?
i think, it much good idea to make dual boot with stock rom and cm9 rom.
what`s your opinion?
It is indeed a nice idea, I tried to get it to work but for some reason Stock ROM on alt partition does not recognize the device's serial number and so it won't register in Amazon's services hence defeating the purpose
What about the MoDaCo ROM?
put bone stock on main partition, than cm9 on alt. awesome awesome.

Hmm, they are free, but looks like you have to sign up to download. Anyone have a better option that I don't have to pay for?
Mediafire offered me 200MB with 0MB/month download... Yes, that is a zero. It seemed pointless.

That's what I ended up doing, at the moment I removed the alt partition as I'm testing other stuff but will go back to that configuration to have the best from all worlds
