Delete camera.apk from /system/app
Be sure to adb push the new one into the same folder
I've done this before on my dinc 1 but I didn't have to adb push it. How do I do that exactly?

I'm running Virtuous Unity and my buddy is running CM7. The free madden application give away is this weekend and Verizon doesn't recognize our phones so we can download it. How do we fix it besides loading a stock rom?

I read in a tweet you have to be on froyo.

I would also like to be able to get the game this weekend. I am running stock rooted with the vcast apps frozen. I defrosted the vcast apps and tried to get the game and it says the device is not supported. But the market says it is compatible. Not sure what's going on with it.

Verizon has fixed the bug. All you need now is the Verizon vcast apps app and you can download it from there.

If you call **MADDEN they will send you a text with a link. When you go to the link there will be another link to download the vcast app.

Has anyone been able to get this to work? I keep getting errors when I open up the vcast app.

I got mine to work but I'm only stock 2.3.3 rooted with frozen bloat. Maybe if somebody could unpack the app and see what's in there I'm sure it will work for others.

Is there anyway? I've tried a launcher in the apps section of the forum, but it just didn't look like motoblur to me. Is it possible to port motoblur?

Didn't do the trick. I I know the process your talking about, and it's worker before with other apps from other UI roms but for some reason I can't get it to work with the blurhome. Apk

It doesent install. I've never been able to get a system app to install, and I usually just move it to system/app, and change permissions and reboot and it works. Not the case here
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda premium
It could be because its motoblur dependant.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using Tapatalk 2
Then your screwed, lol.
Only other thing you could do is port the entire rom, but good luck on that one.
Never looked at motoblur myself other than in the store but I would imagine there are some framework files and dependencies that would be required along with the apk. It's going to be more work than just copying over the launcher apk.

Yes, it is. Are you thinking that the icons and status bar aren't the same? well that's because its a LAUNCHER, not a THEME.

OK I understand now, and it isn't like TW launcher. It is far more dependant on other motorblur stuff. I appreciate your knowledge lol.

Download the rom that has it, extract it from the rom. Or flash the rom. Back it up with titanium backup and try to restore. No promises that it will work. You can download the gapps package from the op in chillybeans pac thread if you want the inverted gapps. I don't know if those will work on other Roms or not. Use a file explorer like es or something similar to copy apk files from the system to your SD card then install from your SD card.

I'll typically just put the APK on my SD card... (Go to setttings turn on unknown sources) Then just click APK, and will give option to install it. (i do this with a few that i have stored.
Use root explorer to copy/ paste the apk into system/app...You will have to make the folder r/w using root explorer before you paste the app. Reboot...typically this works as long as the app is compatible with the phone.

Though i prefer using es file explorer [free] > navigate to your storage [internal/external], then locate the apk > tap > install.
Just make sure 'unknown sources' in security is checked.
