Mic on phone seems messed up

[Q] This just started this morning. When I talk to someone they hear me at a very low volume and the mic cuts in and out. Also noticed when the phone rings it sounds really "snowy". Anybody have any ideas what could be wrong?
Running SFR 1.1.0
HC Fusion 2.1
Clean Kernel
I have a problem were either sides can't hear each other .... happens maybe 4/10 times... im also on SFR (i think we all know why xD)
Happens even more times on midnight... not sure what it is but yea i've done alot of Odins, Redownloads, Reflashes ... just gave up on it really.
Could be an issue with speaker/mic. Do a backup then flash back to stock. if it doesn't solve the problem then you'll have to go to sprint. You'd have to flash to stock anyway for them to look at your phone.

cm7 keyboard lag

I'm not sure if anyone else has run into this issue or maybe it's just my phone but my keyboard seems to lag (both stock android and smart keyboard pro). When I hit a key, it refuses to respond. I'll have to "warm up" my phone a bit by leaving it on for about 15 seconds before I can start typing comfortably, where every key is responding.
suggestions? known issue on all ROMs?
...or just my phone?
I noticed this too on AOSP ROMs but only when I had the phone plugged in. When I installed the Tiamat kernel it disappeared. What keyboard are you using? If it uses a dictionary it might need to be reset.

I'm running the tiamat kernel, too. I experience the issue on android and smart keyboard pro.
*wait, I just checked and I'm running cm7 kernel. let me try flashing tiamat again and see if that fixes the issue
**nope, I don't think flashing tiamat worked. I changed governor to "performance" so let's see what happens then
***I guess the issue is with cm7. I experienced keyboard lag with omfgb and cm7. not a fan of MIUI so I'm not sure if there's keyboard lag on that ROM. I'm running TSM now and experiencing no lag with the keyboard (or any keyboard) so I think the problem is with AOSP ROMs.
I have the same lag with any keyboard I use. I also had the same problem with my Tbolt. This happens regardless of charging or not.
I don't mean to hijack the thread but has anyone else noticed a bad lag with the XDA app? I hate it. I press see the general section and nothing happens so I hit it again and BAM it loads and in a specific thread. I understand it takes a little bit of time to build the long list of forums but not a general section of the INC2 or other device.

Help! E4GT screen appears reversed

Hi, after installing a new rom a few months back,(Venum Rom I believe) I noticed that if I were looking at the screen sideways and closed it, it would appear either backwards, reversed, or upside down in the lockscreen when I would reopen the phone. I dont really get what is going on but after making some changes it still is happening. I recently reverted back to el29 stock to see if it will fix it, and while it seemed as if it was fixed, as soon as I installed a new rom (This time Dark ICS) it happened again. Since I am new, it is not letting me post the video showing this issue. If any1 can help and you want to see the screen cap vid, please email me and I will send you the link via email.
Can anyone help me?

I am not absolutely sure, but this may be related to the CRT mod in some ROMs.
I had the same problem after using venum. If you unlock screen and rotate it, it will go back but its a pain I know. After flashing 4.0.3 I havent had the problem since. Even going back to EL29 roms and still no more probs. Are you wiping everything between flashes?

sfhub is right... The upside-down/mirror effect is from the CRT on mod. I would have the same issue with calks unitil i flashed the CRT off which in turn, turns off the CRT animation when powering on/off.

If you are still on Dark Blend w/TSM mod, you need to go into settings/lockscreen settings/general, you need to change both animations to normal and then back to fast and reboot. It will be good if done right untill you flash something else.

[Q] Weak Vibration after ICS?

Hi guys, sorry if this question has already been asked, I already tried searching and all I've found is people complaining about it but no solution.
Has anyone else upgraded to the leaked ICS and notice extremely weak vibration afterwards? Yes I know how to adjust vibration under sound but even at all the way up a call or text feels as soft as a haptic feedback vibration
Is there any way around this? I'm running the latest ICS Perfection if that helps. Thanks in advance!
Leak ics is too much laggy so i move back to GB.
Wait till our karnel release and it will solve all problems.

I figured it would be kernel related, it sucks that its the little things like this that make the roms unusable for daily use and all the dev's hard work on the leak not worth it

Restarting Itself Randomly

I've been on ICS with my Epic 4G Touch (CREDO, but Sprint's network) for a while and I really love it however the last 2 ROMs I've used have had this problem where my phone restarts itself seemingly at random. I remember seeing somewhere that it could be because of having the 4G on too long and the phone restarts itself? This seems silly to me and I feel like it's not the problem. The most recent ICS rom I have (Blu Kuban) disables 4G at startup and I feel like this might be why. However after searching through this forum and the threads of the ROMs I had the issue with I can't seem to find any information that anyone else gets this. The CM9 Alpha 2 and 3 I tried didn't have this issue, but when I switched to Mijjah74's MIJJz BLEND FE10 and RUJELUS22's The Blu Kuban FE10 (I also tried updating to FE16 kernel and modem same problem) I get this restarting issue where my phone will be tethered to my laptop and then not. I have an updated Gingerbread rom I've been considering testing to ensure it's not my hardware however I figure I'd ask on here and if anyone had experienced similar problems and if there is any kind of fix other than turning off 4G. Thanks!!
Hot reboots have been a nagging thing ever since I started messing with custom roms. There are so many variables its not even funny. Just make sure that when you are testing its always from a clean start. Bad data, kernel issue, rogue apps - I have seen it all cause hot reboots.
You seem to have the right idea keep trouble shooting but remember it should always be from a clean install. Also you should try and fix permissions as well since that has helped me in the past.

Yeah always from a clean start (EL29 stock rooted CWM5 ----> ICS rom) I saw all those warnings, if the ROM gets another larger update I'll keep clean installing. Glad I'm on the right path. When you say fix permissions, what exactly where are you talking about? Could it be a program that's accessing part of the phone while it's locked and in the confusion my phone thinks the best course of action is a total restart? Such a silly pocket computer teehee.

Go to the market and download an app called fix permission. It fixes any mismatches with your system to keep everything running smooth. I usually do it through a custom recovery on GB. Quite helpful
