Battery capacity calculator - HTC Wildfire S

Just found a way to calculate the battery close to reality capacity. Read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1019786
Now, what you will have to do is put your new, extended or whatever battery in, run current widget few discharging cycles and come back here to share your results!

Current widget is not reading mah. Sad.

MugenPower 1800mAh standard size battery

This battery is available now for pre-order at http://www.mugenpowerbatterijen.nl/pda_htc.html and will be released 2nd week of May 2010.
It's a standard size battery so it will fit inside the original back cover and it's an extra 300mAh so it provides an extra 20% of battery life compared to the original.
However, based on another battery from the same manufacturer (3600mAh extended battery as reviewed here), it doesn't show an accurate reading of the remaining battery life. So I wonder if this will be the same?
If anyone is willing to purchase this battery and try it out, please post a quick review in this thread. Thanks
1800mA
Battery corresponds exactly to originally, but I am the same as my one more jear old. Compared to the HTC Blackstone; screen 3.8 inc Battery: 1350 mA opened applications, and this screen machine 3.1 battery 1800 mA open the same applications. For the same time for the same application at the same percent and HTC Blackstone with me on my machine.
After writing the company and their advice four times completely empty and a full eight hours of never anything more of them did not receive a response.
The battery fits in this test, one of the 1200 - 1300 mA.
Sending back.

Way to test mah rating?

I am looking for an app our another way to test the mah rating of my battery. Its an extended battery I got from ebay. I have seen the battery boss page but my battery isn't on it. I have a volt meter and a lipo battery charger If that could be useful. This battery seems more like 2000mah instead of the 3000mah its advertised as.
im looking for some myself
i've heard people talk of r/c chargers and the like, but have yet to come across some to display the info these guys are talking about... i.e. like having an lcd on the charger to display how many cycles, and how many mah are put back in, etc etc

[Q] Changed battery from 1450mah to 1600mah

Hello, I replaced my stock battery that had 1450mah to one that has 1600mah and it only charges to 1450mah. I erased the battery stats and changed the rom, but still charges to 1450mah whatever I try.
I even tried with the Battery Calibrator from John Richards that I used a long time ago to fix the 15% battery shutdown and when I go to learning mode it says that my battery has a capacity very high, like 27000mah, which is obviously wrong, but I can't change it to another value with this battery in. Please help me to change the maximum current to 1600mah.
Thanks!
Anybody?
You bought a cheap aftermarket battery.
This battery won't work with batterycalibrator app.
The registers of this battery cannot be read.
So all values you get are not reliable.
Two beer or not two beer, that's the question
Ok, but isn't there a way to manually change the value of the battery capacity, no matter what battery I have in it?

New battery

Hello all,
Just a quick question, I ordered a new battery the other day (2450 mAh) and it only charges to 80% before saying it is full. I'm sure that even though I'm on stock kernel I should be able to run a larger battery, so I'm assuming the battery is faulty.
Could anybody give me clarification on the biggest battery size you can run on stock kernel?
Sent from my C1905 using xda app-developers app
Do a battery calibration, google it.
I lot of the 'unbranded' batteries with optimistic power capacities have no regulations around what they state the 'real' usable mAh life of the battery is.
I'd be very surprised if the battery gives you longer usage than your original 1700mAh battery.
I'm guessing it'll probably be considerably less.
There is no limit to battery capacity within the limits of what you can physically fit into the recess provided for the BA900 battery.
Mugen Power can only get a 1900mAh battery in that size... so that's something to consider when you think about a 2450mAh battery.

Changing battery capacity

hellou guys. wanted to ask a question about battery, cause somewhere on internet i saw that battery capacity info is saved in kernel.
ive replaced stock battery 3430mah with a battery for 6200mah in google pixel 3xl. But in any battery info program and in AIDA64 it shows the same 3430 just like before replacement.
so the question is, do anyone knows how to change phone info about battery capacity?
Probably the capacity of that battery is wrong.maybe is the same or lower.and as far as I know the kernel has to be updated to the correct capacity if it's not a fake one that you buy.

Click to collapse
ive monitored im getting charge counter more than 3430 sometimes, so i can get higher than 3430. but it cant cause of limitations of charging(it hits 100% and charging just stops)
so i dont think its fake
Battery charge is estimated through output voltage, some newer phones might have smart baterries but they are also measuring current and charging power to estimate life time. What apps and phone tells you is actually capacity propotional to voltage level. Putting a double capacity battery seems fake because of physical restrictions, again charge capacity reporting is based on kernel and you had to modifiy everytime you apply an update.
So why bother, as long as you have 8-10 sot with normal daily usage ? But are you really getting that sot's ?
