Just wandering, is there an app or rom that allow your capacitive touch buttons "wave" when we have a new notification?
Meaning like Home button dim->bright->dim then menu dim bright dim etc?
this is themes and apps not q&A!
Wigwag, stop whining.

Is there a way to dim the button leds while watching a video?
Is it even possible to make a mod like that?
try buttons backlight available on playstore but requires root
Hold the power button till they start flashing, then let go and they should be off. Annoying to do it every time but doesn't need root. Capacitive buttons on play store does it permanently but does need root.

How do I turn off the capacitive buttons light while watching a movie, its really annoying.
PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!!
A program from the Play Store called "Screen Filter" allows you to disable the capacitive button backlight. Useful when reading a book or watching a movie.
Tried, not working

sorry to bump this old thread up, but i was looking for a solution to turn off the capacitive buttons when viewing movies on my HTC One M7 and i found this, but there is a much better solution now. Try the Sense 6 Toolbox - in its Various Mods section. The app comes preinstalled in ARHD ROM but you can download and install the apk separately.

If you really want key backlight, I think adjbrightness has an option to force it on.
Thanks!! I was really puzzled as why I tried two different roms they had the same problems.
Hey
Just wondering if anyone has come across a ROM where you can disable the touch buttons down the bottom of the phone and their lights and just use the on screen ones?
Cheers

Why would you want that? It takes up screensize!
And I don't know if it's posible cause I think Android checks for hardware buttons (although they are soft-touch )
You can enable them in the probam rom, not sire of you can disable the soft keys though

Hi ,
Is there any way to dim the light of Touch Keys, please?
Samsung has the option: Touch key light duration - always off I was wondering if we can have it for LG G3?
Samsung use a different screen technology that makes doing this beneficial, it is not the same on this device.

Have you posted your question in wrong forum?
Samsung devices have capacitive menu and back buttons which are backlit separately outside/underneath the screen and have this customization in its settings, but LG's and many other devices are using onscreen buttons, therefore it is not applicable.
