MMS with No Data Plan? - G2 and Desire Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I have no Data Plan for the time being, and I would love to receive and send MMS. I've seen many ways to get MMS with no Data Plan, but none for the G2, I need a working APN for the G2, I've seen many for other phones, that say that you can recieve MMS, but they dont work.
Can anyone post a WORKING way to recieve MMS on the T-Mobile G2?
Thanks in Advance!

Tilt2 on TMo. MMS settings needed

[Q] GoSMS and MMS billing

Ok, so I decided to check out my SMS/MMS usage on My Verizon today. For this month, it shows I have no M2M (Verizon to Verizon) MMS sent or received... which is wrong because I've sent and received MMS to and received from my Verizon friends. I look at the Non M2M MMS, and there's a lot there (most likely all of them).
So, is anybody else having this problem when using GoSMS? I have an unlimited texting plan, so it's not that big of a deal, but I'm just curious why its doing this.
I haven't tried yet with a different messaging app (or the stock one either yet) to see if they show up on my online statement.
Thanks in advance, appreciate it.

[Q] [CM7] Sprint MMS Fix

Awhile back, I found a thread that explained how to fix the MMS send/receive problem with CM7 on Sprint. IIRC, it involved Open APNs using Voice Dialer and then adding an IP to the Server setting. Now, I can't find that thread again and I don't see another mention anywhere. I see plenty of information for other carriers but not Sprint.
Anybody else seen what I'm looking for?
Edit: Think this is the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756464
MMS Proxy: 68.28.31.7
MMS Port: 80
Menu>Save
Reboot
MMS is working. Tested from AT&T to Sprint, TX & RX. This worked the last time I found it, too. I need to remember to stay with CM7 until I move on to the next phone--nothing else comes close.
is this for not being able to receive MMS? I flashed AOKP on my wife's Epic 4G and everything works great except she is not able to receive (or maybe even send) MMS. Let me know if this is what this fix is for.

[Q] MMS over WiFi Calling = Insufficient Prepaid Balance?

I've recently been having an issue with the WiFi Calling feature when attempting to send/receive MMS. I figured out that it is not ROM related. It is T-Mobile related. Has anybody else had issues sending MMS over their WiFi Calling as of late?
I receive an automated text from T-Mobile instantly after the MMS sends. It says "Your MMS message to 1********** could not be delivered. Insuffcient Prepaid balance."
I've not once had this problem before on the $30 Unlimited Text/Data with 100 Minutes plan. MMS sends fine over 4G but not WiFi Calling. It has only started recently. If anybody can shed some light regarding this issue, and maybe test it out themselves that would be appreciated. Thanks.

Haven't seen that one and I was sending MMS over wifi last night at home. Did this just start for you or has it always been that way? The one thing I've seen is I'm unable to send SMS to short numbers. Get some weird message about it's not enabled which is odd since I have unlimited everything. I'll dig more for both of these and let you know what I find.

Thanks for replying. But actually, I just tried attempting it again right now and it's working.
Must have been a temporary issue on T-Mobile's side. Kind of a weird one actually. I appreciate you replying :highfive:. I hope you find a solution to your problem.

wifi calling tmobile vs metropcs

This has been bothering me. I have the t889 and when I enable wifi calling - cause signal really sucks for me- I am unable to receive mms messages. I only receive the sms message ready to download. What gets me is my buddy has note 3 with metropcs and he is able to use wifi calling and send mms messages. We both set them up the same, wifi preferred - same apn.. Any clue on why this happens. I know the mms wifi calling is a carrier problem but last I looked metropcs is using tmobile infrastructure.
I have had that issue, I had to flash a messaging app and then it worked, I just don't remember which one. I think it was an stock aosp messing app that I flashed on my tw rom. "Go sms" will work in a way, when you recieve an mms, it will temporarily disable your wifi to get the mms.
