I would just like to say I love this cover it does not get stretched out, the back is textured and its not overly thick! I work and a warehouse so i need protection for my phone and this is amazing! They have it on amazon for a good price too

So I just got another new case.
I got it from eBay seller augustonline for $3.89 w/ free shipping.

This is similar to the mesh snap-on case that others have posted about. It's a single piece that snaps on to the back of the phone. The material is hard plastic but it has a bit of a rubberized feel which provides just a little grip.
The fit is perfect. And, unlike the mesh case, it does not have the awkward cutout for the TV antenna that the Korean cases have.
As others have pointed out with this type of case, it does not provide full protection for all sides. I was also concerned about this, but found that it wraps around the edges just enough to protect the face of the phone. So, if you place it face-down the phone doesn't touch. Also, the corners are protected but the top and bottom are exposed.
It's a solid color with no branding so if you really like the Galaxy S logo, you won't be able to see it with this case.
All in all, this is a nice case and if you like this type of case, I would definitely recommend it. It fits well, has a nice clean look to it, and is less than $5. I think this will be my daily driver for a while (or until some positive reviews of the SGP Slider case start coming in).
Sweet as I was wondering whether the fit would be good or not, so thats good news
Can't wait for my orange one to get here!
Cool good to know it fits perfectly i ordered a green one of these almost two weeks ago i should be receiving it any day now
The case isn't bad for $4 (or the $8 I paid from a US seller), but don't expect it to hold up for very long. The rubberized texture is wearing off after less than a week.

I was just thinking about updating this post when I saw your reply. I noticed this morning that the rubberized coating is coming off on the corners of the case. It's not very noticeable at the moment, but I imagine it will start to peel off everywhere in the not so distant future.
For me the case is temporary until SGP gets their stuff together, but I don't think I would recommend this case to anyone that is looking for long-term protection.
that looks pretty gnarly. I have the snap on two piece case from T-Mobile. With the chrome bezel and rubbery back. Once I get bored of it I'll have to try that one.

Love this case so far. Especially with my custom logo! =D
There is no player on the warriors with the number 89. That's just the number I like personally.
I don't think this can be compared to mesh case. The quality of the korean mesh case is awesome. That is why it is like 20 bucks.

How do we feel about this case? It looks like it's sturdy and should be awesome. I watched a few videos on the original iPad one, and well, they worked pretty swell and looked very, very nice. I feel as though this could be a definite purchase.
Does anyone have it and have opinions on it?
Not a big fan of any current leather cases for Xoom. All look kinda low quality and rough.
Honestly, I feel the same about all leather cases. I just haven't seen a good case with built in kick stand like any iPad case. This has the original case's design and I really like that idea. I wish it were a soft rubber instead of leather, but there's nothing I can do about that.
Just looked at the item. One thing I don't like is the plastic screen shield. I imagine it would collect and smash dust against the screen. I'd prefer it were open and use a screen protector, or not.
Just got this case in the mail. First there is no plastic cover for screen, that is a screen cover on the Xoom itself.
This case is really sturdy, feels great. Feels like real leather (advertised as real leather). The there are cutouts for everything., though when closed the lid blocks the charing cutout. When in standing mode, both orientations are great, the shallow one is perfect for typing (unlike the folio case from motorola) and the steep incline works well for movies(again unlike the folio the case). I got it for $16 + shipping and it is worth well more that the $40 case I got from motorola .
Got this on a whim, was really cheap with free shipping. Fits the phone super tight, has exposed buttons and its super glossy. Not that bad of a finger-print magnet as its blue. The actual color is a bit blue-er than the one pictured on ebay, but I can live with it.
Phone is pictured with white vinyl conversion sticker, btw.

I bought a similar one, it was $2.95. The first one I got was a little loose so I told them and they sent me a new one right away that fit perfectly snug. Love cheap TPU cases

I don't really want a full case, but I'd love my phone to not teeter on the camera when it's laid on a table or desk. Anything out there like a band around the edges that protects in case of fall but will also make the phone level?
Look for a bumper..
Check out the Spigen or Ringke Hybrid cases. They are both nearly identical except for the buttons. They also have clear backs, so you can add insert you buy or design yourself, or you can roll with it naked & enjoy the natural look of the device. They are both on Amazon for $5 to $7 bucks.
Hi all,
Just wanted to post for everyone that even though otterbox website says that the leather backed G4 won't fit in the defender case. The fit is snug, but it fits. Couple pictures below of proof.
If you have any questions feel free to ask
How snug are we talking? Any chance of scuffing or otherwise damaging the leather? I returned mine when I opened the box and saw the label that it wasn't for the leather G4.
scuffing no, i don't think so. its just a tight fit with the plastic shell that clips together. i think the stitching on the leather back just makes it a bit more snug than the non leather, so they prob just don't want people saying that it doesn't fit...just my guess, but it will fit, long term i don't know

Thanks for the Pictures glad I ordered on as well. Was going to take the chance on it figured it could and would most likely work. Bought it Friday on Ebay and seller didn't ship til Monday so I might have it in the next 48hours hopefully. I'll probably end up taking off the Defender plastic screen protector for the Temper Glass I have coming in. I will see how both are when used at same time but I didn't like the plastic feel on my Note 2 Defender.

Just wanted to update I got my Defender is in and it does fit the Leather back just like eliteconcept showed and said it is a snug fit. I already put the Skinomi Temper Glass on the G4. It is a very snug fit where I couldn't get the last snap to click on the shell with the Leather back and the Temper Glass but once you put the rubber casing on you wouldn't know. I do not like the Otterbox Defenders Plastic Screen protector never did so I took it off and tried and was able to get all 6 snap connections still a tight fit but it's fine. Plus once together I really don't every take it apart just to clean once in awhile. I'm fine with this setup. I probarly will buy a plastic back still in the future when they start the flood the net but works fine for now and save the leather back when the phone goes naked with out a case.
