both, not only one. they are a couple. inside a box.
That is actually quite cool, will have a look
I like the look of these, but isn't the lanyard attached to the bit that holds the SD card though? That means if you had it on a bunch of keys you'd have to either unattach it from the keys or have the keys dangling from your USB socket (not recommended!)
Or am I wrong?

I know what they are mate. If you read my post again you'll see that my problem is that you will end up with a bunch of keys hanging off the card reader whilst it is plugged into a USB port, which is just silly. Would you hang your keys off something plugged into your USB port? I certainly wouldn't. So..... you'll end up having to detach it from your keys every time you want to use it.

So yes, unless it's a laptop then you will have a bunch of keys dangling from your USB port which will damage it, or render the card reader useless. Either way, it's a fail unless you have a laptop.

I do not need/want an FM transmitter, although if there was something that incorporated an Aux line out that would really make my day (not counting on it).
Anyone find anything? Thanks in advance!
What about buying both of those? Or the second one and some generic stand-arm. Usually the attachment on the back is either universal, or easy to drill the holes neccessary to combine them.

it's not exactly the same, but get the official one. it has the built in micro usb port, and the docking mechanism is a locking vacuum mechanism you can adhere to the windshield (or dash, or whatever is smooth)

Yea I of course have seen that one. Unfortunately I don't think I would have anywhere to stick it, and my windshield is too far away. Plus, doesn't that render your microsd card useless...ie I couldn't listen to music?
You can still listen to your music from the SD card with the Sprint mount. You just can't use the phone as a portable drive because the data port is being used by the charge adapter built into the mount.

Amazing, so far we've had root, extra buttons on the dock (menu), better settings for auto-brightness and now this - and all from one dev.
superb, this is great news - thanks Paul. Your work really is highly appreciated
Great job Paul
Just wondering does that enable both UMS, PTP and MTP or is it a toggle between UMS and PTP + MTP?
Edit: Oh, my bad i thought you were referring to the storage on the device (Because i saw you had /mnt/sdcard/) not USB-OTG
USB keyboard and mouse works too...

Assume a USB-OTG dongle is required? Recommend one? Thanks.

nope, not a stock feature of GN, only after the custom kernel. ICS supports it already.
I've got the cable, now how do I use it? Running Modaco ROM. Plugging in my pendrive doesn't seem to do anything, do I need to manually mount?
this is awesome. Now i just hope i can plug in my 1TB external, then no need to worry about 16GB of internal

Proof? I don't even see a review for it.
I would love to have an OTG adapter I could keep with me all the time, particularly for storing multirom roms on as I already have a flash drive attached to my keys.
I've had a search but I'm unable to find anything suitable.

So you want OTG card reader not a regular adapter?
There's plenty of those as a keychain. Thought you were looking for adapter to plug your USB stick to the phone.

Received this today, shipping didn't take too long to the UK. The seller included a free micro SD USB adapter with it. The OTG adapter itself works fine, the lid feels like it might break off eventually though. The micro USB part is longer than usual which allows the adapter to fit over my Spigen Slim Armor case.
The PK'2 Paris USB is a perfect solution. Its micro SD card and a 16GB thumbdrive with a USB and Micro USB connection.
http://pkparis.surinternet.com/epages/box23967.sf/fr_FR/?ObjectPath=/Shops/box23967/Products/200202
Although it is on the expensive side. It is really convinient to have all of those things available on one small USB keychain.
Meenova is awesome!
I've got to say that I love the Meenova. It has been handy for numerious devices and it is a quality product!
i got that SAME one lol, sitting on my desk but too lazy to open and test it, course the meenova is the best for its small size

Bring it to a repair center, don't try to repair again by yourself, there's the risk that you damage it even more.
Anyway if you want to try again the same, on Youtube there's are videos about how to dissamble the Xplay, so look them.
Good luck and sorry for my bad english :silly:

Well, can you open your Play again and see is cable in position or ripped? Remove slider part (same as you replacing your flex cable) and remove that black foil from upper left corner (or upper right, if you switch it over)

Dude, no worries... I did similar mistakes to mine when I first got it and opened it up. My mistake was actually not with the cable, but the "ZIF connector" on the digitizer side... I didn't realize there was an easy way to snap it up, and instead tried to pull the cable off and instead ended up ruining the whole digitizer connection  So I ended up having to order a whole nother digitizer which had the part I ruined.
Anyway, ebay's got your back on pretty much anything you need. Pretty sure this is the part you need:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Replace...e_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item4853ee906b
You're lucky, that's only $2
If you do decide to fix it yourself, I HIGHLY recommend using this very detailed disassembly/reassembly guide:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/101421340/66/Reassembly
You'll have plenty of time to study it while you wait for your part to come over from Hong Kong. Then once it gets there, follow EVERY word and you should be back up and running
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Inside is this thingymajig. I'm pretty sure this is some sort of a dock or something
Rear view
Tried putting it together. With all my best efforts, I've failed.
Only got this far. I dunno how to build the back part.
I tried searching for it on the interwebz but to no success.
Can anyone please point me out to a tutorial on how to build this?
Extra info: My OPO doesn't come with the Cyanogenmod logo at the back (dunno if this is a good thing). And it's got ColorOS bundled (Now using temasek's).
TIA!!

Thank you very much!
How is the slot made? Is it folded inwards? If so, guess I'll have to work a bit with scissors and glue ?
Can you provide the measure of that big horizontal fold near the top, so that I could calculate its dimension (preferably in metric)? ☺
Thank you again! ?
no idea if this is right or not (dont have the dock) but it looks like it might be an opening for a "speaker"
if you look in the bottom of the slot where the phone sits, you can see that its open for the speakers.....so maybe the sound gets directed down and out the back side of the dock.....maybe?
dont have anything that I can draw, but the opening at the back might point towards the phone....so the sound kinda loops around.
