To fix them in settings , check "enable video calls".
thank you man.. stupid me.. but I have an excuse. the phone is in my wife's hands and I was trying to guide here... didn't see the option!

Hi can anyone tell me if there is a prog for the xda2 to stop some numbers calling the phone ????
Have a look at SmartFilter - http://www.novomobile.com/.. Works great, had good support from the developers with some issues I had with my weird provider.

as the heading states is there a working answering machine software for windows mobile 6 or 6.1 for the hermes?
um.. you mean like voicemail?
lol, I think that answer would be too obvious!
Maybe the carrier does not offer voicemail?
At any rate, I have not heard of anything like this...
I saw some software called "iSecretary" that claims to do that. It was some time ago, probably around the Windows Mobile 5 era. Should work on 6, but don't know how well.
Cheers, Oggy.
yup, I've tried iSecretary
Maybe it will suit you...and it's a freeware...just gogling and you will find it
Actually HTC PDA Phones have a hardware issue that prevents Windows Mobile from being able to intercept the voicestream or send data into the voice stream so this is impossible.
I use youmail.com
http://www.isecretary.net/about.php
check out the compability section below the page. it'll suits you probably.
oh its working like a charm btw. just few limitations.. but its ok so far.

Hi all,
Trying to get Novii Remote 4 Deluxe working on my new Touch HD. It installed fine but it looks like it doesnt support the 480*800 Res. Just gives error "NoviiRemote does not support this screen resolution". Is there anything I can do to overcome this?
Im pretty new to Windows Mobile so please forgive me if there is a simple fix for this kinda thing.
If this program is just incompatible with the touch HD, is there another remote app that works reliably?
Touch HD has no infrared port.
DOH! Thats that then.
Although I remember reading in one of the touch HD tweak guides to go into BEAM settings and disable "receive all incoming beams" to save power. Weird.

Hello again
And again I have a question - is there application that would speak me the name of the person calling me? I mean that if John calls me it would ring, ring.. john.. ring, ring
Voice Command does not work on X1 for this feature
Voice2go is useless too, because when it launches it takes over my speaker, and only after turning it off manually it can speak normally. beseide of that - i rly do not like that app :/
So can anyone give some advice?
Would verry appreciate!
Thx in advance,
Mayyhem84

Thank You for the reply!
But I am using only SE oryginal ROM's. Actually I have R3AA010, Generic_UK..

I may be wrong but I think that voice for caller announcement has never worked with WM6.1...
True - it did not worked :/
There was a trick on forum, that made it work on some ROM's - the needed to disable skins for phonepad and it worked.
But it does not makes the trick for me :/
Any more sugestions
it works.
did you check the box in the options to use it on the speaker too?
otherwise it works with the headset only (didn't try that).
but you have to disable the dailer skin either way.
ps: there is a thread about that already which is half a year old or something (-> search).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=568834&highlight=voice+command
Thanks for the replies!! But c'mon guys I would not start a new thread if that would work for me.. I like search button very much
Yeap, I've disabled the option in Advanced Configuration Tool:
Phone -> Phone skin: Disabled.
And it did not worked... I've made the use speaker too option enabled.
So is there any program that really can do it?
Besid the fact that both - xperia and WM dialer is ugly as hell :/ I prefer really the Phonex one
Thanks in advance!
You can record voice announcement and assign to contact : )
U mean make a ringtone for every one and subscribe them to their own tone??
deamn... i have over 300 contacts
But still - that is some idea rly nice and funny as hell
Some more advices? Would be great
oh.. guys.. heeelllll... I am searching and can't find any sollution
is it really possible that there is no caller ID voice annouce for xperia or generally for win mo???
please help... ?
Hi guys, been a while since the 8525 days, now i'm looking at doing something new (to me) with my TP2. Anyone have a working life streaming solution? I've looked through and tried a bunch, and so far best I've been able to find is ustream or bambuser apps which work well on xdandroid FroYo (Can't get GingerBread to boot all the way..) other than the mike, they do not seem to pick up any sound. . .please advise
some stuff i found, but still no cigar:
http://www.similarsitesearch.com/alternatives-to/bambuser.com
http://mashable.com/2008/07/15/video-streaming-tools/
Thanks!
M
Do you want an Android or Windows Mobile solution? If you want an Android solution, you posted in the wrong section.
Well, either..I would like any solution that works on TP2; either on WM6.5, or XDAndroid runnin off my SD card (see top two threads in android dev). Maybe someone even knows a mike fix for the latter. Ustream is nice cause it includes chat capability in the mobile client, but neither it or bambuser pick up any sound.
I just tried Quik4.2 on WM6.5 and it works ok, but Quik kind of sux, crappy website features in comparison and there is no channel chat at all .

XDAndroid requires updated acoustic libraries in order to pick up audio when recording video. Please search before throwing people off on tangents like that.
