Sent PM's not always showing? - About xda-developers.com

Does anyone else have issues with sent PM's?
I notice that most PM's I send do not get logged in my sent items Often in a conversation, at least 50% of the PM's sent do not show anywhere, although I know they have sent. For 1-off PM's, they almost never show up. Is this a bug for everyone or just me?
For example, I have 104 PM's in my inbox, of which I have replied to them all but only have 26 sent PM's. I also send PM's that are new messages rather than replies so I would expect to see more sent than received.
Many thanks.

Can you ensure that you have "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" checked in Edit Options?
EDIT: Also, is this using the VB forum software, TapaTalk, Forum Runner?
Thanks,
Dave

Thank you for the response. It was not ticked. I have ticked it now and will see how I get on. I use both tappatalk and the full website, so it was saving some and not others. Perhaps that is dependant on which interface I use.
I'll keep an eye on it.
Thanks again.

Well not really given that some pms saved in sent anyway. If there were none that would be a different matter. It's not always been like this either. It just suddenly stopped saving some

Very cool. Thanks!
Installed, went to set up profile, program force-closes every time I click "edit name." As much as I like Grindr, I think I'm going to uninstall this.
[before anyone asks, I did fix permissions and restart the phone.]
J~
is this what i think it is?
If it doesn't force close, it just says there's an error.
Ahaha, just what I needed. Not! Lol I should prob Google a app first before blindly downloading

Yes it is, there a problem sir? :]
I've been running this for a couple of weeks. I have the same bug in that I can't edit any of the free text to add a name, headline etc. Chat and pics seem to work ok though. I have a funny feeling that grindr are trying to censor information about this alpha as nothing seems to show up about it on twitter etc.
Does anyone know - or can anyone find out where the settings are stored for profile - are they on the phone or on the grindr server? If on the phone perhaps a config file could be hacked.
When it doesn't force close, I can't get it to even sign on to their network. I'll have to stick with scruff for now
I have a feeling settings are stored on their server, since they were working on letting you use the same profile on multiple devices.

Sorry for the interruption, but the site you are currently visiting is not then real XDA-Developers....
There is a report a link but then it wants me to log into my Google account. What's the deal with this?

Looks like XDA has been hacked. Check out the address the link is trying to forward to. Somebody's going phishing, it seems...

I got it too, even on tabs already opened to a thread on XDA. Very odd. I killed them quickly
---------- Post added at 11:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:33 AM ----------
*** Apparently already reported and known. In this case it was a mistake in the coding.

I got it too on my HTC 4G LTE using stock browser.
I suspect it's a scam popup ad. Very clever.
It was a slight goof by the admins and has been resolved now.
Yup, it's sorted out now. This was a coding error. The real XDA won't show this, and there was no hack etc...

Images on XDA

Hey,
Does anybody know what kind of images XDA can manage in particular gifs? Does there have to be a certain size or something? Just wanted to know because I have had some trouble with frozen gifs only on xda. Wondering If anybody knew. I have started to make my own and upload them to xda but it stays frozen.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
EDIT: As an update, your images cannot be too big or it will not play on xda.

Hey douchebag, use another site to host the picture and you will be fine. You know your question is douchbaggery when you only get one decent response. Sorry but I had to say it. And you only have 200 posts.

I'm sorry. But please respect other members... it's wrong to call anyone douchebags just because you don't agree with them. And the number of posts is not really relevant here imo. So please respect other members.
Please give credit where credit is due..

Which quickreply do you mean? You mentioned three ways for accessing XDA so I am not sure which is the problem. Does normal reply work?
A little different but Quick Reply from this thread or any thread stopped working for me around Monday 5/16/16 on my Nexus6p and my PC on the XDA website from my browsers. Also, I can't "Click to Expand" who thanks the post? Furthermore, if I hit MARK FORUM READ it gives a vbulletin message "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid." Also, I can not attach a picture so the issues list grows? I have been accessing the site the same way without issues for years till Monday 5/16/16. Not sure what's going on and note I always use the 2013 beta theme. thanks
Update: turning off "Remember form data" in the browser resolved all above issues!

XDA Depot Relentless Spam Emails

Ever since the new forum came about, I've been getting daily emails from [email protected]. I've tried unsubscribe multiple times, unchecked every box in account settings, and made a ticket request there (seems that request went into a black hole) but I KEEP GETTING THIS SPAM MAIL. It goes straight to my spam box now but seriously, can these things get shut off?

The forums & update to Xenforo are definitely unrelated to the XDA Depot stuff. This is actually a totally separate company. I'll reach out to those here with the relationship to Stackcommerce to see if we can figure out what is going on.
