I need to roll back my rom version. I have an mda and I want to flash it to the cingular settings from the HTC website. The problem is that I have the latest version of Tmobile's ROM software, and it's higher than the Cingular version. How can I roll it back to the older version?

you can try to update your rom
to a rom from Cingular
the only way is to go to their site and download the rom and flash it
there is no backup of the org rom when ppl flash it with another
unless they made the backup themselfs
ROM for Cingular will not work...
Because I have the latest ROM update from Tmobile in the device...and the ROM from Cingular is an "earlier" version (2.6xxx vs. 2.5xxx)
Any ideas in deleting the ROM and installing the Cingular ROM?

heck you can flash the first rom ever relased for your device

how to manage the official ROM (galaxy.cap) to .nb0 ROM?
i have p525 original rom in english v.3.43 and i downgraded the radio virsion to v.6.
i want to install the original rom in Hebrew but i get this error message "Extended ROM update cannot be applied to this region's virsion!"
i understood that i need to manage the official ROM to .nb0 ROM,
i did it and installed the ROM but it didnt ask me about installing hebrew support as it asked in the past when i updated the rom virsion.
can any1 help me?

in the REGIONAL SETTING i didnt see ISRAEL so i installed the VIVI's cab and now i have it and its on ISRAEL but again when i want to install the original rom from asus (v3.43 in HEBREW) i get again this error message:
"Extended ROM update cannot be applied to this region's virsion!"
Do you get this error message after you flashed (3.43) successfully and restarted? Or is that the message the bootloader spills out?
Before you downgraded to 3.43 again, did you run the ASUS.UnlockLangId.exe? If you didn't do that you may still have the wrong language ID set.
To convert the cap-file to nb0, run P525RomTool -d Galaxy.cap. But I guess you've already done that.
Itay , run this before flashing your selfmade nb0 .

if i flash my BASE rom firmware my HTC reboot with the same message :
MicropERROR
Microp Version Mismatch 0
Please update latest Microp firmware
* my version is MicroP-Diam (LED) v11*

I have allways make : Hard reboot and soft reboot , changing firmware ect ......

I'm not sure what ur saying, but if you flashing a htc stock rom its possible cant update because of region specific, if you havent have hardspl installed try and flash again,

Mine is also MicroP-Diam (LED) v11 and flashing is no problem for me. Try using Hard-SPL like Dutty suggests ...
I have exactly the same problem.
Even while updating the screen is black.

the screen effectively is black, but I can see homepage etc as it's in standby.
MAYBE, but it's only in my mind, we could fix the problem installing windows mobile 6.1 professional.

just reflashed to dutty's 3.4, still the same problem.
seems like the phone is working because it will make the power on noise when i turn it on, but the screen isn't showing anythign again.

Got the same problem after flashing Dutty´s 3.4 - after first restart display was only "very dark" that I even could read it - "microp version mismatch 0 - update microp firmware", after second reboot the display is off permanently I flashed originila stock ROM and then signed SPL but the problem is still same... Really don´t know what to do now. How to upgrade "micorp firmware"???
edited: How did You all guys have fix that?? Is there any way instead of send it for warranty repair?? Here in Czech I´m worryin about the time of repair - and guess it will take probably one month n I can´t miss my phone for so long time:-((((

Problem hasn't got anything to do with coocked roms, hardspl or whatever....I had the problem too and had original 1.37 and 1.93 stock rom on my Diamond (Dutch). Had it send to HTC's repair lab in Belgium (www.eurotwice.be) but they couldn't repair it. Got a new one because of extenden/extra warrenty I bought when I bought my phone and cellurar subscripton with my telco.....

I used HardSPL 1.40 Olinex, Dutty´s 3.4 ROM, my device flashed manytimes without any problems, Diamond is not branded a I purchased it here in Czech in e-shop (English version).

Yep my Diamond is dead
Not "fully dead" - is detected by PC so I flashed back stock SPL and ROM - both 1.93
It seems that PDA is working, but nor display neither buttons light
Ok today I sent it to warranty service n will see...I only hope that when i was flashing back stock ROM n stock SPL without display it was succesfull

I have flashed my DIAMOND(Airtel-India) with new ROM ver 1.93.720.2 & radio1.00.25.07 WWE from HTC. After that I am unable to connect to Wifi so here are 3 options i have.Can you help me choose?
1. Go back to OLD ROM(1.37) but how do i go back to older version of ROM?
2. Just change radio back to 1.00.25.03. Can I do it directly without Hardspl?
3. Re-Flash with 1.93 and see its works
Also One last this I read in one of the threads that u shld not flash indian diamond with ROM available here as they are 3G and indian one is 2G is that true...can you point to some safe ROM's?

I got my Wildfire with 2.2.1 android (Vodafone GER Branding vers. 2.24....)
I use it with a o2 Card and cant Root or downgrad it.
I've just found this Site and there is a 2.3 Rom (H3G UK).
Is it possible to flash this Rom (its a Upgrade not a Downgrade )?
Is it a REAL 2.3 Gingerbread Rom and is it possible to use it with a o2 Sim (o2 Germany)?
Is there a Net oder simlock when i flash this ROM?
I allready got a Goldcard but there is still no way to downgrade the 2.24... I think i have to wait for a new UnrEVOked to use Custom Roms.
But i still think... a Update to 2.3 should be possible. I would try it but i am afraid that there is a Net or Simlock after upgrading it.

Coz this one seems to be a spain ROM so i think it could be possible to use it in Germany with german Language.
It is ROM version v2.33. Pretty sure there is no Android 2.3 official for the Wildfire yet.
Another example is Vodafone Spain's 2.2.1 OTA, which is labelled 2.34.75.1. It is used as the base for WildPuzzle ROM, and, is definitely Android 2.2.1
