Installed on Archos 70IT (Urukdroid). Apps started, but I've got message that Onlive is not available in my country.
You can check on your device.

Yesterday I dedicated my evening to getting Final Fantasy 12 to play on my Android. Success came in the form of:
XDarkMario's ICS Rom
Kainy remote viewing app
Joystick Center 6 (and touchpad addon)
Kainy on PC
PCSX2
I'm happy to post more information about this setup, which I had working very pleasingly, but this morning various tech sites are reporting that a user called Digitalarts001 has a remote client up and running (which was demoed playing Skyrim) using software he/she built on the Playstation Mobile SDK.
So, my question is, what steps are needed to port that across to the Xperia Play?
could you host a video of this stuff running? O_O i have kainy but it runs quite slowly. I tried it with oblivion and skyrim.

Yep, as soon as I find my 2nd Android I'll film it. I had it running over my local network, not tried it beyond that. The frame rate was acceptable, lag comparable to Onlive but the image slightly washed out. Still, FF12 in bed!
Here is a short clip demonstrating FF12 streaming to the Xperia Play

**This is NOT the typical "how can I get my OUYA **games on CM11"
Rather... anyone find any good Play Store games that can be played with OUYA controllers? If so I'd love to maintain a list here for myself and others. Bonus points if you can recommend Play Store games that use controller AND i can sit with friend(s) and all play on same TV (<-- this I cannot find at all)
Looking forward to some replies!

good question. from what I have gathered the best way to find games on the play store for ouya controller support is to use tegra zone as you can search for games that have controller support. maybe someone will chime in with a list or a better answer but that is what I have found so far.
Reicast (Dreamcast emulator) runs amazingly on Ouya with the controller.
You might wanna check out this app while it's still in the Play Store: Ouya Downloader
I just tested it this morning and it let me download games from the OUYA store w/o a problem. They installed fine, but didn't really get a chance to fully test them out as I'm running low on disk space (which is something else I'm working on); but judging by the filenames of the APKs, they seem to be the OUYA modified versions that will work with the controller. I'll continue testing tonight, but so far it looks quite promising.

I've used this for a few games. My favorite, Bombsquad, will not play. The app auto-shuts down because it doesn't recognize the system as ouya anymore. Have you run into this? And any idea what it may be checking (probably in buildprop) to counteract it?

The second post at this link has a list of games/apps that work with the OUYA controller. Any that work with the stock OUYA launcher should work on cm11 as long as you have the OUYA controller kl file in place. Should be able to install the button mappings for controllers zip from the cm11 thread to get it.

Yeah, doesn't seem like a reliable way of getting games.. I was able to download and install both Shadowgun and RetroArch directly on my Ouya, and RetroArch installed fine and seems to work fine, but Shadowgun installs and loads but stays stuck on the loading screen... I haven't tried installing Shadowgun via the Play Store yet, but seems like installing from that Ouya downloader is hit and miss...
Update: Shadowgun installs and loads fine via the Play Store. It also plays great. Just had to map all the buttons on the OUYA controller before I started to play.
Here's a list of Games exclusive to the Play Store that can still work great on the $50 Fire Tablet

Another game that belongs on every tab (i believe is only on play store) is Carmageddon. The free version is fun, the paid verson is so much better.
I wanted to see a FPS shooter running on my Fire, I googled, found "Dead Effect" - and it does.
soo ive been crying since day one when i found out i couldnt play NOVA 3 on my newly bought shield, i thought about using a custom firmware but didnt want to lose functionality, i ended up adapting my 4tb hdd as internal memory so once i did that for me there was no goong back lol, so ive been trying to find a way to map controls and thought of everything and nothing seemed to work. sixaxis controller app didnt work when i tried a few times a year back but there has since been an update and now i can map the touch controls for nova and play perfectly so im guessing that opens up a lot more apps and games that require touch we couldnt use before but prob can now. For me this is the best early christmas present i could have asked for. Thought id let you lot know just in case ya didnt.
if you play Modern Combat 5, NOVA 3 or are generally into android online gaming, anything to do with Nvidia Shield, Kodi or Plex - join us https://discord.gg/XsMz44k http://droidshield.boards.net
I use Zulu full Android with game controller2touch it does wonders
Also I noticed we have good fps' for android and most of these games have no chat support which is odd. I play modern combat 5 a lot and have now made a server where we can use any windows, android or iOS device to use voice chat while in game. so download 'discord' free from play store, app store, website etc and join us here. My kids want to play Minecraft on the big screen, is it possible on the Firecube? Can we get Play Store? I searched but it’s looks like a no.
TIA
Minecraft is, or was, available in the Amazon app store. I don't think it was ever made available for the 2nd gen Cube (or 3rd). I just get an app unavailable message if I try to install it from the App store.
If you own it on Android, you can try to sideload the APK from your Android device to the FireTV. I tried it on the Cube, it loaded and got to the Microsoft sign-in screen, but didn't have an account to sign-in to see if I could get further.
I don't think there is a way install the Google Play store on the Cubes. Maybe with root on the 2nd gen but nobody has tried and reported about it.
I understand your kids' desire to play Minecraft on the big screen. As for your question, unfortunately, Firecube doesn't support the Play Store, which means you can't download Minecraft from there. But don't worry, there are still ways to play Minecraft on your TV. You can connect your phone or tablet to your TV via HDMI or a streaming device like Chromecast or Roku. Alternatively, you could get a gaming console like Xbox or PlayStation, which both have Minecraft to download. And if you ever need any help with mods or plugins for Minecraft, be sure to check out modbay.net, it's an excellent resource for Minecraft enthusiasts. Good luck and happy crafting!
