Hulu has finally begun rolling its Hulu Plus service out to Android smartphones, but according to a blog post on the company’s web site, you may still not be able to use it if you have the wrong handset.

Currently just six handsets will be able to use the Hulu Plus app, which can now be downloaded for free from the Android Market.
With the first phase of the Android rollout, Hulu Plus is available on six phones, including the Nexus One, Nexus S, HTC Inspire 4G, Motorola Droid II, Motorola Droid X, and the Motorola Atrix. We expect to add to the number of Android smartphones and will be making additional device announcements throughout the year. Two notable exceptions to that list are the Galaxy S and Galaxy S II, or at least the US variants of them. Presumably the S II will get added once handsets become available in the States.
Hulu Plus is a paid-for subscription service that allows subscribers to stream video content to a variety of devices, with Android being the latest to the party. Microsoft’s Xbox 360 was the last to receive the Hulu Plus love when it received an update to add the service back in April.
Stream thousands of episodes from hundreds of current and classic TV shows and movies to your Android device, computer, TV, and other devices with a Hulu Plus subscription. Download the app now to sample content from our Free Gallery. Subscribe to Hulu Plus for $7.99 a month at http://www.hulu.com/plus Unfortunately, as with so many things, Hulu Plus is a US-only affair.
But hey, the rest of us outside the United States get Spotify!

That is funny, I just got off the phone with those clowns and no one knew what I was talking about. I pointed the service dude to the web and listened while he read it followed with a 'huh...not sure'.
I then did a search and came up with your thread (from today!!). Great minds I tell you, or are you just as bored at work as I am today
Either way, No love for ICS (phone variety) and no streaming like ios. Just another reason for me to hate TWC!!
Customer service has no clue...wish it was supported!!!
My girlfriend can run it on her (crappy) HTC Aria. Works well too.
I may have to try my old DInc (it is wifi only at this point) when I get home. I do hope they get the live TV watching working (like Direct TV has) shortly.
My girlfriend has an Ipad (I'm not an apple fan myself) and TWC has a NICE app people can watch tv on their Ipads with. Pretty impressive.
If they made something like that for Android it would be awesome!
The only catch is you have to be connected to your TWC road runner at home for it to work, so its kinda pointless really, unless you don't own a TV - in which case why pay for cable?
hey sorry every body i work for twc and they do not tell us anything about it i has a 5 min training while i was on a call with a customer about the app. also this was 1 day before release date. please just don't be mad at us on the phones.

RUMOR: Amazon to buy Texas Instruments’ OMAP business

TI recently announced they’ll be expanding the focus of their chips to “automotive, industrial, enterprise communication, vision and robotics”, but they won’t give up on the mobile phone and tablet market.
Has that changed? And more importantly, why would Amazon, which is a retail and service company, spend billions of dollars to get its own chipset making business?
Amazon recently revealed they are not making any profit on the hardware of the Kindles (they serve more as a storefront), so if they’re the ones making the chipset powering the Kindle Fire tablets (also Barnes&Nobles Nook tablets) they might be able to reduce the manufacturing costs somewhat.
But enough to justify a deal worth billions of dollars? It might, if Amazon was planning to make more than just Kindle tablets. There were rumors of an Amazon phone, but the company might also go the digital video player route a la Apple TV or Nexus Q – they certainly have the multimedia library for it.
What else? Well, Amazon is maintaining a lot of data centers for EC2 and their own needs and ARM-based servers have been gaining popularity lately (and TI’s OMAP 5 that’s based on Cortex-A15 would be a good fit for something like that).
Of course, all this is just speculation – the two companies haven’t even confirmed that such a deal is being discussed. But Amazon is certainly a company that aggressively breaks new ground, so it just might be true.

Do you think its good? I didn't like the idea.
It would be a money sink for Amzn. The semi business is struggling to make money.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.
Rather Google buy them.

We Tested Google Stadia in India - Our Experience.

Hey Guys, Today here we will be sharing our experience with Google Stadia. Specifically how it works in India or in any country where it has not been launched yet.
As you all know, With Google Stadia you can play high-end titles on your TV, Laptop, or even on your Android Phone. That's exciting.
We will tell you how we tried Google Stadia being in India where it currently isn't launched. And how can you try it in any country where Stadia isn't launched yet. Also, share our experience.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Q. How can we use stadia where it isn't launched yet?
A:- The idea is simple & basic. All you need to do is to Use a VPN (Free or Paid doesn't really matter as long as you're getting the minimum Speeds i.e 10Mbps as per Google claims. And then you can simply go to the stadia site & sign up normally as you do for any service.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Our Experience With Stadia, Using in India:-
** We were still getting around 40Mbps of speed even after we were connected to VPN. So speeds should not be an issue here for us.
To be very honest the experience was quite not great. The Stadia page loads fast, The games do load fast but the problem was inside the games, there was lag & latency. And it wasn't playable, to be honest.
Maybe it's because the Data Centers being too far from the location hence resulting in High Latency & lag.

General One Plus is now offering Stadia Pro for 2 years for some EU customers

O+ and Google partnership now offers a Stadia plan with the hardware delivered
Buy OnePlus - OnePlus (United Kingdom)

I personnaly feel a bit wronged and really want to know if very first O+9 series buyer can be included in this offer
What are you thought about that ??
Not uncommon for manufacturers to offer something to customers after the initial rush for the hardware. OP offered earbuds for the OP7 after the first wave of the devices went out and ended just before I bought my OP7 Pro. As far as Stadia goes, meh... I got one for free last year from Google for having a YT Red account. I've played it maybe a dozen times. It would NOT be what made me buy a OP product.
I got a free Fitbit Versa 3 from Three UK a few weeks after I got the phone, they had a choice of that, Galaxy Buds or a bluetooth speaker, since I didn't have a smartwatch and don't really listen to music using my phone, went for the watch.
This is what they're currently offering :

They text you a code 2-3 weeks after the purchase with a link to go to and claim your free order.
Well I assume this gift are coming from your carrier
I bought my O+ directly from Oneplus and the wireless charger was offered during the preorder period.
I'll try to contact them to know if we can be attached to this new offer that I find really pleasant

Three were offering the wireless charger during pre-order too, sadly I couldn't upgrade until after the release date.

Apple Watch Series 7 CELLULAR
THE EXTRA POSSIBILITY OF THIS WATCH VERSUS A NORMAL APPLE 7 IS THAT THE CELLULAR VERSION HAS AN eSIM 4G WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO LEAVE YOUR iPHONE AT HOME AND STILL BE ONLINE. YOU CAN RECEIVE CALLS AND ANSWER THEM WHILE YOUR PHONE IS ON YOUR DESK. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A NORMAL 7 AND A CELLULAR ONE IS INDICATED ON THE GOLDEN CROWN. THE 4G VERSION HAS A READ CIRCLE IN THE CROWN (see image).
Please feel free to share issues, questions and offer help
The only drawback of this type of watch is that 1. you need a provider that supports this watch and 2. it costs extra money on a monthly basis cause it uses of course data.

Not necessarily. I’ve had an Apple Watch since 2016 and only last year decided to get a data plan for it. It costs me $5 a month for the plan and I see the value in having it. Otherwise, it would just use data on my phone’s plan. The advantage of the Watch having its own data plan is that it can operate autonomously and I don’t always have to have my phone with me. Great for running, quick trips to the store or drop in visits around the neighborhood. I get your point though, it does seem like overkill.
