Agree very much with the person above, but a good reference source on your new device is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=File:HTC_Rhodium.png
It's not out of date necessairly considering the base device and what we do today to it. Quick read on what ya can get done (or do to it)!!!
Thank guys, i'm gonna learn that a while & later i am definitely going to flash it.
I love HTC Rhodium. I 've always loved it. Before i bought HTC Hero i've always wanted to buy Rhodium & finally dream came true .

The only 6.5 released so far is for the European TP2. Yes, it will work on the TMo USA TP2, but it is not officially for the TmoUSA version. It may even put your warrantee in jeaopardy as much as installing a cooked rom since it's not intended for your specific phone. I don't care about that myself, but you might.
When (if) TMo makes it officially available for their version of the TP2 a link will be found on the TMo support page associated with the TP2.
do you think guys that updating to win mobile 6.5 for T Mobile will be soon.
If you want that, and more, just flash your ROM with one of the cooked roms on this site.
I dont think t-mobile will release an update to 6.5, which kinda pisses me off but eh you still have xda!!!
Last i heard T-Mobile has given December as the release date, but if you Hard SPL your device you can load any ROM you want. I am using the official Europe WWE ROM and it works great
can the touch pro 2 run 6.5? or does it get the upgrade to 6.5?
yes, there are multiple 6.5 builds out there. what carrier do you use?
i have tmobile....i am new to the WinMo platform, i wanted to get the 6.5 upgrade and also run Android on my device.....does the Android hack support 6.5?
6.5 supports the android hack. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but you boot into windows and then load android. If your phone was purchase in the last month or two from Tmo you should already have 6.5 installed.
Here are some links for T-Mo 6.5:

Welcome from the Feisty Woman
Hi welcome to xda and enjoy your new brick...
Sorry, just some *****y humor to say before you do ANYTHING please read and then re-read all the wiki's/manuals/stickies in the Rhodium forum...there are steps you must take before "playing" with your phone, such as unlocking it. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you understand these steps or you will have a very pretty, very expensive paperweight aka brick.
6.5 is available as both a stock upgrade and custom roms. If your device is very new it may already have 6.5 on it. Droid is not fully functional yet, but it is becoming so very quickly...again, before attempting any rom change, RTFM!!
I would strongly urge you to read in both rom and droid sub-forums of Rhodium, as well as in the general sub-forum. Stickies are the best place to start.
Happy tinkering and welcome to xda, you will become seriously addicted and probably turn into a rom whore like most of us (that's the fun part)!!
ok, thanks 2 both of u guys answers, i will def read everything before doing so.....i jus wanted to try somethin diff, and also which one would u recommend? HD2 or Pro 2? my Pro 2 is on its way, but i didnt kno if the HD2 is better beacuse it has a faster processor and i am new to WinMo, i just left Blackberry...i had a G1 before that so i already kno how to use Android

Frankly, if my TP2 had the bigger processor that the HD2 has, it would be absolutely PERFECT (yes, I have processor envy!)
That being said...I would not trade in my TP2 for an HD2...I love the sturdiness of my TP2, I love the physical keyboard. I am very hard on phones, and I tested the HD2 out in the store and it felt like, to me, a wimpy iPhone...like I would snap it in half...but then my phone must battle makeup, hairbrushes, and whatever other girly stuff is in my purse that makes it weigh 50 pounds...so I need a bulky, sturdy device.
I do not know if/when the HD2 will be droid compatible, but I know our Rhodium chefs have been kicking ass in that arena!! We also have some wicked awesome chefs cooking up WinMo roms...I am personally a big fan of the Cell team, but all the chefs here are really awesome and very helpful.
Anyway, again, welcome to xda...and be sure you read and re-read before attempting any modifications.
how could i make the phone run faster? or free up more memory?

That young padawan can be found by reading the forums...
check out some of those stickies/wikis mentioned as priority reading materials.

...what I do is install "fluff" programs to my sd, also my cache files...I also routinely clean my phone of crap including bad uninstalls/shortcuts, dangling notifications and stuff like that using programs like SK Tools or MemMaid.
is it possible to install Win 6.5 ROM to Desire? just in case why im curious cause HTC Desire is a great piece of phone and it has the power and hardware.. just like HTC HD2
Been asked before! Search!

Why do you want to ruin a perfectly fine device? .
No because Windows Mobilie 6.5 is not open Source and cannot port to other Devieces. Sry
Sry for my english. I´m German
very bad
it means that i have to sell my desire when wp7 came... and then dual boot my new wp7 phone with android 3.0

That's because it is insanely stupid. What a retarded idea, wanting to port an out of date, inferior, dead OS to the Desire.
If you want similar functionality to WM6.5 I suggest you place your desire into a bowl of warm Cola
Its such a shame though that phone 7 devices will end up having android ported to them like the hd2 whereas we never will get phone 7 running on our androids! Still rather stick with android though!
Eph.
This has been asked a few times before, I suggest you search for the other threads.
Closing this thread as it will end up like the rest, with the OP being flamed to oblivion.
I want to put a HTC HD2 rom on my HTC HD7 is that possible?
i think no for the moment. wait.
Why the hell would you want to do that? WM6.5 is really crappy
I think he meant wp7 .. In my opinion if you already have a fully functional wp7 then keep it cuz if somethin goes wrong I don't know how ur gonna flash the original OS back .. if 6.5 to boot Android than might as well do android nand and skip the ****ty 6.5

buy an hd2 and, eventually, put wp7 in it
Thread close, not dev related. You certainly dont want to flash an HD2 WP7 rom to hd7.
Hi All
some of you know me some of you don't, looking for some general feedback and feelings around the One M8 as a device overall from its xda user group.
The plan, providing I manage to get my hands on one, is to get back into Development and resurrect LeeDrOiD Roms.
It's been a while!
Cheers
It's a great device, certainly a worthy successor to the m7, if you've had any time with that.
screen is gorgeous (if not for lacking a little bit of space due to the on screen buttons)
the camera effects are a treat and fun to play with. For the most part they work pretty well. 4 megapixels is a shortcoming though, regardless of the ultra pixel size
gestures work (they are take it or leave it though, if you use them you love them, if you don't you can do without them)
BoomSound kicks and is an improvement over thevbeats audio sound profile
OS is extremely quick no lag whatsoever even on bloated stock roms
touch screen is extremely sensitive (maybe a touch too sensitive)
ample built in storage + sdcard = [emoji106]
BlinkFeed much improved over initial versions
There's definitely more I could say but I'm sure it's all stuff you've read in reviews, so I will just give my personal opinion: It's friggin awesome!
As with the m7, the m8 has a very robust development and theme community (in the international m8 forum), however, there's always room for LeeDroid!
Excellent. Definitely should consider coming back and doing a ROM for this phone. It's a great successor to the M7.
I use to only but HTC devices. Starting with the Nexus One to the HTC Hero and all the way up to the Evo 3D . I then felt like they weren't what they used to be and felt they were dropping the ball. So I decided to switch to Samsung. I've owned the Galaxy S2, 3, 4, the Galaxy Note 1, 2 and 3. I then started to get a little disappointed in Samsung and had to make a choice of sticking with them and going with the S5 or giving HTC another chance and getting the One M8. Well I decided to go with the One M8 and boy am I glad I did. As with every device there are going to be a few things you wish they would of done differently but in all honesty, this is hands down the best Android device I've ever owned and I've owned a lot so that's saying something. I'm telling you now if your on the fence just jump and jump fast lol. I promise you, you will not regret it. HTC hit it out of the park with this one imo.

Man, can't wait to see you back...
Why you just don't consider developing for M7 and M8, the rom is almost the same... But both phones are awesome! I have a M7
Just to chime in here, I absolutely love the M8. It's my favorite phone since the HD2.
You should definitely grab one, even if you don't wanna dev on it, just to have.
But of course, on the other hand, the more devs we have for it the better.
Hey leedroid! I remember your developing from when I had my old phones. I used to help out sundawg with his ROMs testing and thread maintenance. I am picking my M8 the first week of July when have my JUMP available. The wife just got the phone and I'm jealous. Its an amazing and beautiful phone. We would be honored to have you back deving and this device would be perfect!

Yeah old thread, but I decided to search google for leedroid to see what was going on. I was right thinking you weren't dev on xda anymore, but to see that you're maybe coming back! Your rom were awesome. Since I quit your rom for a new phone, I'm on viper and has been with them for my last phones. But if your to come back, to M8.. dam... I'll surely try your rom for old time sake!
Leedroid makes incredible roms...... would love to have something from him on this awesome piece of hardware!
Hi, The Legendary Leedroid.
I have been using your Leedroid ROM for Desire since 2011.
In fact I'm still using it until now.
It's good to hear that you are planning to come back.
Can't wait for the next Leedroid..
Regards,
Szenpai
