I'm really used to my sleeve case that came with the G1, and would like to pick one up for the vibrant. Are there any sleeve cases for the Vibrant? I searched and only came up with 1-2 for the international version. Maybe they have a different name or something? or maybe I'm one of the few that like them, hahah.
Has anyone tried or have a sleeve case for the vibrant? If so which one and how did it work out?
Any pouch that will work with the i900 will also work for the Vibrant.
For example: http://cgi.ebay.com/Leather-Pouch-C...AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item23082e79c2
That one should work found. Since it's leather, it might be a tight fit.
Thanks for the link above. I am trying find a sleeve case also since I used the sleeve case that came with my G1.
not sure if this is what you mean by sleeve case
its a zenus case without the lid - i just bought a gel case from this guy (korea based, took 15 days to get here)
nice looking leather sleeve case

I'm waiting for my new case, but until then I've been using my G1 sleeve. It actually fits pretty well.

Same here - it fits almost perfectly.
/Twerd.
I kept my G1 case even after selling the G1 because it fit so well. But I don't plan on using it really.

This is good news! my phone should be here in a couple days and will hold me over for now. A nice leather will be nice though.
I am actually using the sleeve case from the G1 right now. it fits the vibrant perfectly for now and then i also use the side holster that was included in the dash and the vibrant fits in there well too. I am waiting for the carbon fiber samsung case to come available, but for now it is still out of stock
I think I'm using the same holster the dash used. My G1 fit in it just fine and the Vibrant is taller, but narrower so its kinda a swap for space.
I tried 3 or 4 different cases/pouches for my phone and have settled down with MOFI Pouch from Amazon, its the kangaroo series, costs 3 pounds but very good quality and looks expensive, I ordered black and brown. Good thing about this pouch is that it has got soft velvet type material inside that cleans the screen every time you pull it out. Search for the following term, cant post a link sorry.Hope this helps someone.

is the pouch just for the headphones (to store) or are the headphones connected to the phone in the pouch ?
Waiting for a black one, it thought it looked the best. Really like the idea of the phone getting cleaned every time it gets pulled out of the pouch. Using an Android OEM pouch in the meantime, which is not that bad either.
ehh
I picked up one of these MOFI kangeroo cases as well, but gave up on it after a day of use.
The inside lining does clean the screen most of the time, but the rest of the case is the issue. The cloth exterior is extremely...well, grippy, meaning when you try to pull out the case in your jeans pocket, the pocket lining gets dragged out with the case. Its also too furry for me, because the last thing I want is to be sweating all over my case when summer hits in a month's time.
I'd say that this case is great for those who keep their phone in a briefcase/handbag/backpack etc, but the useability drops significantly if you are the type to put it in the front pocket of your jeans.
Anyone tried one of these leather case from mofi? seems decent and the seller said it fits well with the phone.
The OEM android pouch is nice too but it takes ages to ship to the UK.

Yeah, I have both of the Mofi cases and IMO the Kangaroo offers more protection than the Lux. The Lux is very thin and flimsy but I prefer it's look and feel so I use that one. In regards to the fit it hangs out the top of the pouch by about 1-2mm whilst the Kangaroo encases it completely.
I got this "Advanced Mofi Leather Galaxy S2 SII i9100 Case Pouch UK" it's the same as the Lux but a different design.

Hey thanks for sharing your experience=)
pity that the Lux one doesn't cover up to the top.. really like the look of it but not sure if the quality is good enough to last for months.
Hi guys
I use the official gs2 case, it does leave the top and bottom exposed but I also have the HTCHD7 leather pouch and combine nicely together ;-)
I received my Official Samsung Case today, the vent one, and with it on it just fits inside the Kangaroo but doesn't fit the Lux or Advanced pouch. I just thought I would post in case anyone was thinking of pairing the two.
Regards,
Chris
Someone on another forum said that the Mofi cases made them feel sick because of the feel of the fabric.

WTF???
I'm using the Mofi case I used with my SGS, about 1mm of the phone sticks out. I don't like the Kangaroo ones so if I can find the regular Mofi for the SGS II I'll probably buy it.
edit: Found one and ordered it.

Apparently it's made of some material that feels wierd in the hand or something.
Well I'm holding the one for the SGS and it doesn't feel weird. Maybe the person has hairy palms or something.
I got mine today the kangaroo series. It does feel weird in a way. The fur seems like it will get dirty with all the dust around where I live. Before that I was using the stock Sony Xperia ARC stock pouch which the SGS2 fits nicely in.
I didn't know that 1-2 mm of the SGS2 sticks out of the Lux leather, shame I already ordered it. but gotta say that the kangaroo series is nice despite that it will be a dust/dirt magnet due to its fur.
i want to buy a kangaroo pouch, but i live in chile.. and its very expensive, who can send me one please?? ill pay u, but to get it in my home from amazon ill have to pay like $40

I too own both Mofi pouches, but I whilst I agree the Lux version looks better, I prefer and use the Kangeroo pouch on a daily basis! I feared from the pic on ebay that the Lux pouch may not fully cover the phone and that is the case: somewhat defeating the object of having a pouch imho.
Also of note is that I didn't really want the extra (kangeroo) pouch for headphones or whatever, and some on ebay look like they don't have it, which is what I ordered. Sadly when my pouch arrived it was of the kangeroo style. Whilst I don't as yet use the pouch for any accessories or anything, I can confirm it doesn't really add any bulk, and if anything adds extra cushioning and offers more peace of mind in the event of a drop!
As a general note I just want to say I prefer to use pouches for general protection on mobiles because why would you want to spoil the lovely thinness of the SGS2 with a bulky gel case? Yes, it doesn't protect against a drop whilst in use, but I have insurance!
The Mofi Kangaroo pouch get's my vote!
just ordered from the amazon.ca to muy courrier on usa to get it to chile... it will be little expensive, but i like it

Is it possible to put earphones into that case? or is it dangerous for the phone/not enough space?
Do you mind taking some real pics of it? cause really the ebay pics seem so fake.
Its getting into festival season and I need a way of securing my S3 to my body. The S2 had a great feature being the hand strap hole built in. unfortunately the S3 does not have this. So I am looking for a slim case that has a strap or has a way of putting a strap on that I can tie to me. I have seen various bulky wallet style cases with a handstrap, but its a little too bulky for me. Any one got any ideas?

the official samsung slim case has holes to fit a lanyard or strap etc, and it is SUPER slim, s3 still feels great afterwards. It seems to come in a pack of two, different patterns on each one.

I thought i'd ask the AT&T folks, the international forum is too large and impersonal.
Im looking at this one for myself: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nillkin-Mat...841&pid=100011&prg=1005&rk=1&sd=140855149689&
I got that one in white. Waiting on the Marble White version to be available for AT&T.
The ONE thing nice about not having the phone in hands yet is it has given me time to get some goodies on order with cheap shipping. I have four cases headed my way (yes idle hands). As you will see from my selections, I like cases that are TPU or similar for absorbing shock. I don't like very bulky cases.
Yello TPU from Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009S40MQG/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00
Gray X-line that seems to be everywhere on the web
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gray-X-Line...168197?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2a24a129c5
Then the Flexshield cases. I think one of these will be my everyday case. I couldn't decide between transparent or black so I ordered both. They come from mobilefun.com in the UK and since I had so much time to wait (November 9th or so) I used the cheap $5 shipping and it should be here by then.

I got that nilikin case (I have a tmob with att sim). Its even more slippery than the phone itself which I don't like. It looks good though.

I was going to get the Nilikin case but decide to get this in black instead.

Still haven't decided if I am getting the Note yet, I have SGS3 and its great, with a nice strong seido case (extended battery active) it isn't too big. I feel like having a big case on the note will be too much. I'm in the army and the SGS3 barely fits in my ankle pockets now, Only option for the Note would be in my cargo pockets and it might break in there...
i am looking into the Nilikin case atleast until there is an otterbox commuter for the note 2
Case I ordered
This is the case I ordered from Korea.
1) some sort of a metallic material bumper case (black)
2) some sort of a metallic material battery cover (black)
and its going to be going on the Titanium Grey colored version of the note 2
by the way the second picture is the metal battery cover by itself.
I got this clear hard shell case at Amazon for $10.99.
Trident. Just have to baby it for a month or so. :good:
Ive got the Nilikin cases in white and black. Not a fan of the texture. But it was the only thing available that was decent at the time. Im waiting for the Elago slim cases to come out which i have on my original Note.
I just ordered this case of ebay, not bad for the price and it looks half decent. I will post pictures once i get it and the phone(still waiting for rogers to ship)
edit: search the popular bidding sight for " Samsung Galaxy Note2 II N7100 2in1 Black TPU Metallic Red Hybrid Case+Screen"
hey guys i got a quick question im currently married to my skyrocket...but im leaving her for this beautful note 2. something i came across that was rather annoying with the skyrocket when it came to cases is that the phone style changed based on the carriers. e.g the speaker orientation on the sgs2 hercules vs the sgs2 skyrocket where different. even tho they are the same phone specs wise. is this the same here since all the cases linked here are for the n7100 and our phones are the n7137m and n7147m or something to that effect thanks for your replies in advance
The note 2 as far as dimensions go are the same across all models. So all cases will work

I just ordered this case :http://tinyurl.com/cbtohpn
and this one: http://tinyurl.com/c7cae3j
both from ebay
i also bought the ZAGG body shield
Boxwave case with the integrated stand. I have the black one on my current Note and it works great. The stand isn't super strong (can't expect it to be on a slim plastic case) but it's built well and holds the phone well also.
The case isn't available yet so keeping an eye out.
Hey, Guys...
I'm hoping to find a belt-clip/holster for my S3 that I just mounted in an Urban Armor "Scout" case. I found a nicely made Duracell leather case that fits the 'naked' S3, but the UAG case makes it too big to fit...
Anyone have any luck finding something that works with this phone/case combination?
Thanks in advance!

I have a case on my S3 and use a holster for a Note 2 because it is a little bigger. It still might be a tight fit in the beginning because of the thickness but after a while it works fine.

Sorry, I got it a long time ago on ebay. I think it was something like $10 with free shipping. It was one of those chinese knockoffs but it has lasted me a couple of years. Just do a search for " Note 2 holster". Sometimes in the description they include the inside dimensions.I actually have 2 different ones, both faux leather, but they both work fine.

Urban Armor has very similar advice:
Q: Do you currently make or plan to make a holster for your composite cases ?
A: We do not currently manufacture a holster; however, this may become something we offer in the future. A few customers have reported using a holster designed for the Samsung note to carry their UAG composite case.
