I am having the same problem. I think it is a bug that HTC knows about. People suggest going into the settings and clearing all the data from apps or doing a hard reset. Also clear the cache in the browser and don't sync a lot of emails. Maybe only 3 or 4 days back. Hope that helps.

Just as title says the navigation voice gets stuck. It usually gets stuck if I end navigation early. The next time I use navigation it will get stuck saying in 1000 feet or turn right etc. Only fix I found was clearing app data but it always comes back. Any help?
Using aokp and ktoonsez's kernal too. Also did full wipe decently and it didn't fix it.

Mine does this as well, on tw and aosp roms. Only temp fix I've found is clearing data. This has been driving me nuts, at least it's not just me. Let me know if you figure anything else out.

I use my nav like 2 times a week.. Usually only for 20-30min trips. Haven't experienced that myself.
I'm stock rom rooted with kt kernel

After doing more Google research it looks like it is happening on multiple phones on multiple Rome. Might be an issue with the app

Since I've seen this post I've used navigation everywhere I've gone...
Noticed my nav would show me the right direction for places but the voice would tell me how to get to my previous destination...
It would say turn left etc on streets in the city I was in earlier.

it's been happening to me every once in a while, i uninstall and reinstall.

I"m guessing that uninstall/reinstall only really accomplishes the same thing as clearing data. Because when you uninstall, it will of course clear the data.
I too am having this problem, consistentlyh, and on different ROMS. Very frustrating.
It tells me to turn right from the street I live on, over and over again.
same problem here
I too am having this problem.. i just restart the phone, but thats the same as clearing app data.. though less screens to go through
is there any fix in sight for this? its really aggravating.
By the way, another problem I am having with the Nav app is that when I click on Voice Entry for a destination, it flashes over to enter voice, then right back to the initial destination screen. Am unable to use voice entry.
I have had this problem on Stock ROM, as well as current Ariel Rom.
Maybe I should open a thread on this topic to see if anyone else has the issue.

yes, i have one, don't waste your time with them. let your RAM disk do clean up for you. your phone is fast enough that you should need a task killer. task killers are soooo two years ago
but in all seriousness, you don't need one bud. just use your device it will be fine without one :good:
Well when I used to have on it would say it killed 35 apps or so everytime I pressed it. I should just do nothing?
My ultimate goal was to cut down on battery usage by not letting them run???

you'll be alright without it man, trust me. i haven't used a task killer since i had my samsung moment and never needed one. battery life is great on this thing, and performance with be there.
Leave it alone. Search on Google you'll find detailed reasons why task killers are useless, even harmful if not used with caution. Android is smart enough to do it on its own.

Like everyone else says. Task killer is no no ^-^
But what I actually love and use, is startup manager. It allows you to choose which programs run at boot. You just have to be rooted. It cut my boot time in half and saves a lot of resources by not having random things running that you don't need. And I don't notice a difference in the time it takes to open those disabled programs either.

Yeah.... Don't get one. And tell all your friends that probably told you to get one to Uninstall theirs.

Those are good. its like "rebooting" but without rebooting. Pick whichever gets good reviews.

Cache cleaner NG is the best one. Just don't use the "old cleaning method" because it will hang on you. I also like this app because you can set time intervals on the clean up process. I always have mine run late at night when I'm sleeping. Just wake up with a notification to clear with details on how much it cleaned up
And IMO disabling apps is a waste of time. I prefer just going in and deleting them manually and wiping dalvik cache because it frees up storage space in your system and data directory. Just a cleaner way to do it I think. But either way works.

Thanks for the app cobraboy85! And if you are talking about disabling apps via the startup manager, it actually does help. I do delete apps i dont use. But for things i do use but dont want running (ie Spare phone, youtube, google voice, tapatalk) i remove from being started at boot and then they dont run until i run them and i always completely exit them when done.

You're going to need to provide more information. Are you stock, rooted, etc...? If rooted, what rom are you running? I haven't heard of this, so I'm not thinking it's terribly common.

Did your app actually get installed?
I've seen that message and the Space it is referring to is not storage in internal memory, but rather to the home screen(s) being fully occupied by icons.
Right right... I'm on chilly's 2.18
Its weird because this has never happened to me at all, actually I can install other apps just not power amp...
And I deleted the app and scanned for skeletons with SDMaid

i used to get this...i think i cleared market data...did you use luckpatcher or similar app to "disable adds" then uninstalled poweramp? also if u did use luckypatcher ...just open it and clear the applied patches before reinstalling poweramp...if not the case clear dalvik and cache
Experience taught me this one. Use ur file manager to go into luckypatcher dir. Delete the max. power . blah blah part whatever power amp comes on. Reboot phone clear dalvic n cache. That's if u used luckypatcher. If not just pull battery after clearing just dalvic. I hate power amp. Gone mad way better.

So I have previously installed a bad ass launcher after like 5 hours I began to notice my RAM was being used more than normal. It will be 1.4 out of my 1.75gb of ram on the phone. I deleted it hit "clear memory" and problem seemed to be gone. Until now it seems something else is chewing up my RAM and I have no idea what because I cant find an app to tell me. Looked under "application manager" to see what's up and everything seems fine there. I dont have alot of applications installed. Only 1 game COD-zombies. Can anyone help me out?

Hold down the home button, select the pie/memory icon and look at active apps.
RAM manager pro works awesome. Right away noticed difference especially on the option to play hard on memory games like real boxing.

Settings>Application Manager>Running. Shows everything that's running and eating up ram. Don't forget to click the cached process as it has its own list of things using up ram.

Anyone else having a pop-up at the top of chrome asking you to review your security and privacy settings. I X'd it out and have gone through it multiple times and it keeps showing up. It's annoying and I haven't been able to figure out how to make it go away. Anyone else getting this, or know how to make it go away?
Attached is a screen shot of what I'm talking about
Try clearing the data for the chrome app

Cleared the X once, never saw it again. On Verizon (if that makes a difference)
I had the same issue with T-Mobile G4. Click the X and it would close but would come back every time I opened Chrome. I ended up just switching to Maxthon and never had the issue since.
