Non Root Battery Percentage

If like me your waiting to root and rom but want a battery percentage instead of stock battery img. I found an application that places a battery percentage over the stock image. I like this instead of having two battery notifications in the bar.
Not perfect, stays on while in full screen apps but is easy to disable from app drawer when playing games or whatever.

Why are you waiting to root? You're using a Google device that is specifically geared towards development lol.

Or u can use Super Status bar....Its friggen aWESOME. It also has in-App-purchases, so u can buy extra status bar MODs. its replaces then whole status bar. Theres a free version, so u can get a feel for it. It works really well, and has no ill effects on the battery

Or use Quicker. Only a few pence and puts a little battery percentage in the status bar along with your stock battery. P.S. Why would you be waiting for a root? The phone was rooted before it got released, it is a developers phone remember

Quicker just adds a second battery. My ocd can only handle one battery notification.

[Q] Samsung GT-S5660 Very bad battery problem .

Hello guys, i'm new here , i have a Samsung Galaxy GIO for about one year , all good until now , about a week or so my phone just started to work bad , in fact its so bad i can't watch a youtube video , my battery 100% charged in the morning and then i stay on the phone for 15 minutes and then its shows i have 45% , its draining so fast , i can't do anything , and the wierd part its charging so fast , 100% in 5 minutes and after that i spend 10 minutes on the phone and again 60% battery . I don't know what i have to do , i have a rooted ROM CyanogenMOd - 7.2 nightly gio , and kernel 2.6.35.7 ,I attached a screenshot with my battery life... I wiped my battery status and it's the same , i need help i don't know what to do anymore, and btw im a newbie at rom's and stuff so pls go slow with me . ( and i can't go to Vodafone guarantee because i don't have the default Vodafone ROM )

I had the same, battery could hardly last 1 hour and charging while off began at 75% every time bought a new battery and now its fine..

I understand but , the ROM or an error can do this ? Atm i have no money , but i have a guarantee , how can i find my stock rom ? because if i go to the vodafone with the custom rom they wont fix this..

change your battery with a new one.

I currently have one from dealextreme, 1600 mah gives about 30% more than the origonal batteries, and they cost nothing : 4 euro / 5 dollar with free shipping.
So I could buy 4 of those or buy 1 origional samsung battery with the same amount of money

[Q] HTC Desire HD - Battery Drain Problem

I'm wondering if anybody can help me with this!
I have a HTC Desire HD smartphone, I haven't had it long but I've noticed a significant drain in my battery life! I have tried a certain app on the Play Store to Calibrate my Battery but I don't think that's worked very well! I don't want to flash any custom rom's or anything like that I just want help with how to get a good battery life! My battery lasts about 8 hours with not much use, and I've tried battery saver's but they're not much good! I don't think I need to buy a new battery but if I need to then I will but if I can help it then I won't! I know this is off the topic but I have a HTC Buzz: Wildfire too and I rooted and flashed CyanogenMod 7 on it too and the battery life was crap on that but I don't need help with that phone mode it's just the HTC Desire HD I need help with, so yeah can anybody help me with this problem? It would be great if you could!:good: :highfive:

Read up on the Better Battery Stats app and figure out if anything is causing wakelocks.

Well, if you are on stock rom 2.3.5 then it could be a hardware problem but first try a new battery!!
install a app called "current widget" from playstore
and check how much mAh you are getting, If more than 800+ means charger is Good...
and secondly u can giv a try to custom kernels, there are many out there with a better battery life and battery saving governor like smartass v2 etc

Phone showing 2 to 8 percent when the battery is at over 80 in another GS3?

I recently recieved a Galaxy S3 i747 and I planned to send it to my gf in London but before and after installing CM11 Nightly, it always displays the wrong battery percentage. I know it's wrong because I have 2 Verizon Galaxy S3's which both display the battery at over 80 percent at least if not over 90.
But the i747 shows about 2, then drains and dies. Then, I put it back in one of the verizon Galaxy S3's and it says I still have over 80 percent left.
Any ideas as to what's going on or how to fix it?
Any help would be appreciated, I planned to send it on Monday or Tuesday.

Does it exhibit the same behaviour on a stock ROM or another custom ROM?

What about wiping battery stats?

Help battery draining very badly

See I have android 5.0.2 from sky dragon and my battery life very bad I can not complete 2 hour and half complete on a full charge plz help me out. The only reason why I'm using android 5 is because of the Harmon/kardon sound mod in it.plz help me out thx
