That is awesome news
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
This implies the a case with an extended battery. might not work for the official htc battery, but their own??!?
Wouldn't it be worded differently like " It will consist of a case that fits extended batteries."?
Electra cases for other phones contain Trident's extended battery. The case will be sold with an extended battery of their own (not HTC) if these Electra cases are like their others.

While ours will probably be significantly different, this is what I found by searching for this: http://www.meritline.com/trident-b-cy-evo-exbat-ic-cyclops-case---p-68454.aspx

I emailed them this: "Thank you for the quick response. Will this be offered with an option to purchase the case with out the battery for those of us, which is most people with a Thunderbolt, that have already purchased an extended battery? Do you need anyone to do any product testing? Thanks again."
With this response: "We are exploring the possibility of selling the case without the battery, but as of now we do not have firm plans to do so. And thank you, but no, we are not presently looking for product testers."

Nintendo DS Lite Hard shell zip case from Joytech
only £6.99 @ www.play.com
perfect fit for the universal
even got a cargo net in top section for mem cards or whatever take your fancy
How hard is the hard case? Would you feel ok if you dropped it? Off a table? Down some stairs? Just trying to get a feel of how protective the case is?
thanks though
I have been telling this to everyone before but no one wants to listen. I too am using the Nintendo DS Lite hard cases ever since I bought my Universal. It is the best zip case for my purposes. Even houses my extended battery.
The hard case is hard enough, similar to those hard carry on bags for travelling. The inside of the case is also highly paded, and with extra space for other small accessories.

off a table or down the stairs should be fine alothough i would not like to try it LOL
the DS Case i posted about is a nice snug fit almost perfect, and i'm not sure if it would allow fitment of an ext. battery.
But i have never seen a universal with an ext. battery fitted
nor have i seen a standard uni next to one with an ext. batt
Has anyone seen one of these anywhere? i was in a sprint store the other day and they had one for the epic4g, but the usb was on the other side.
Some online stores are reporting the last week of October but who knows really?

Anyone know if the Fascinate's will fit for the Captivate? On the Verizon Wireless site it is $10 cheaper than on Samsung's site. They have a bunch of accessories for the Fascinate including a 2200mAh extended life battery...The Captivate has crap for accessories.
Try and see if they have the dock at a Verizon store to test it.
This is on the Samsung site...

Looks sweet...definitely cooler than the phone sitting there with a cord hanging out of it. I might order one...?

Yeah thats what i am waiting for, I like the clean look of having a dock rather than just sitting on my desk with loose wires..
this might be old news, but I purchased one these from the AndroidAndMe site. Still says they are in stock.

Dock won't likely fit. battery, if it's the same size as the stock battery, will fit.
These were used Approx. 1 Month. Ive decided to go back to stock battery, its not that i dont like the extended size, i just like it thin and i got an Otterbox Commuter Case instead. Battery Life was amazing of course but what can you do, i have my own preference.
Bought the Battery for the Original Price $69.95 and the Innocase Extended Rugged Holster Combo for $49.95
Im asking $90 with Shipping(can work with shipping if you want like next day or something it will be extra) or Best offer
Prefer Paypal
Comes with Everything
Seidio 3500MAH Battery w/Back of course
Extended Rugged Holster
Innocase Extended case
Extended Rugged Skin & Skeleton
Screen Guard not Included Sorry (I Used it)

Anyone daring enough to take the plunge?
$14.95, including cover? Seems too good to be true. I would love to have a battery with 3000 mAh or above though.
I'm not sure I want to pick up an untested, unrated, long time to deliver POS from Hong Kong...
thats an error. its not compatible with the vzw nexus.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3800mAh-Ext...Accessories&hash=item3a6ee738d2#ht_5055wt_902
look at the battery. says i9250
No. I would pay the ~$100 or so from mugen batteries if you really want that much battery. But honestly, I think it is a wiser investment to buy two oem extended batteries.
My grandma beat me down and took my nexus. Sent from a jitterbug with beats by dre.
I've had good luck with extended batteries from Seidio, and they are showing one "coming soon" for the VZW Nexus. The downside is that will disable NFC.
I've got a 3,800 on order, will make a review when it comes!

it's 100% for the nexus! Check my thread out!
sprint.com/freebattery now ships a free extended battery and a new battery door completely for free, shipping included. (Check price in cart)
I am using this battery in my Verizon GNex, had to remove two tabs on the battery door, but otherwise works great.
This likely cannot be used in the GSM variants.
ordering now
Thanks, I've been looking for a good deal on the stock extended battery and I guess this is the best one out there

THANK. YOU. Glad I didn't buy one until now!
Can confirm this as well. Been using the extended battery and Sprint back cover for a few months now.
There is a difference between the Sprint and Verizon Back cover. You will need to cut off one of the tabs that holds it in place, a pair of nail clippers works perfectly for this.
It's no longer available on the website. Gotta call the store. Wish I found this sooner..

You could, but Sprint pulled the offer. I am a Verizon customer, Sprint just sent me a free extended batter, with door completely free.
