Please help, how do i backup my test messages (SMS) ?

Can anyone tell me how do i backup all my text messages (on WM2003se) ?(assuming it is possible...)

mail config, mail and sms backup without any program

I don't know if a collegue can help me or if it's possible.
My idea is save mail config file, to restore later, when i install a new rom. Same for sms and mail without any program.
I think that mail is possible restoring folder \Windows\Messaging, but i dont have tray.
Im boring of lose this information and reconfig mail allways.

[Q] Sending and Receiving SMS message from PC

Does anyone know of a decent app for using to send/receive sms messages via my PC - happy to do it over USB. Preferably with the messages also being stored on the phone.

Check the app MyPhoneExplorer. Install an executable in PC (google the name) and also install the Android client app in by the same name in the android market. Connect and send/receive sms from PC

[Q] Contact names not showing when writting new SMS

I have a HTC Desire with BCM RC4.1U2 ROM installed. I have just flashed it and everything works OK, except the Messenger app. When i want to send a new SMS and start typing the name of the recipent, the Contact names dont appear. They only appear if i write telephone numbers, and even then not all appear (but just some..).
I have no idea what could be wrong. I sync all my contacts with Google sync and had no problems on previous ROM (MIUI AU).

[Q] Lost all sms data but database seems to be in the handcent folder

Suddenly my phone rebooted, and after a minute, it rebooted again (I hadn't typed in the pin)...
When it booted again, and typed in my pin, I opened my sms app (handcent) and got no messages...
I've searced in /data/data/com.handcent.nextsms and found the "hc_sms.db" file of 6MB...so it must be my sms database...
But I've checked at the data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db and it's about 85KB and has my sms after the deletion of my old ones.
What can I do to restore my sms?
My desire runs android 2.3.5
