Since the dawn of the smart phone, these little power houses are crammed with more processor speeds and memory than a desktop computer.
All the while, these little hot suckers are totally dependent on 'PASSIVE' cooling.
Right now, i'm sporting a very stylish T-Mobile G2 from HTC. I use my phone for everything under the sun. I'm thinking about using it for frying my eggs for a meal, because sometimes, my little phone get so HOT while using it for navigation, and various other tasks that tax the battery and GPS, it's almost unbearable to touch.

I purchased a mobile phone holder for my bike (ON AMAZON HERE) which works EXCELLENT! Except, its not allowing my phone to breath. I like the fact it's weather proof, but at a price of a over-heated device.
I'm thinking about hacking this case, and installing a small CPU fan attached to a solar panel for power. Which I would have to drill holes in the front somewhere to allow the air to flow over my phone.
I wish someone can make a case out of heat dispersion technology found with something like what they sell here. http://thermapak.com/
Any links to another product or any ideas?

Having a Nilkin barely there case already, I quite like the idea and would like to find a "wallet" that can hold my phone with the case on, and some credit cards.
The idea is to avoid going to business meetings holding a phone, a wallet, a laptop, a namecard holder. I also think it's pretty cool to show off that a phone can fit into such a wallet.
I tried the original samsung leather pouch, but it's such a tight fit for the phone with a case on, that it's impossible to use any other of its pockets.
However, I've no idea how I can order or buy from the above site, so would like to pool everyone here for suggestions on alternatives.
Any suggestions on pouches/wallets or manufacturers that I may look at?
Currently thinking of even looking at Prada's lady long wallets (that looks more masculine)..
I've always kind of been intrigued by the idea of a phone wallet too, but they always end up looking a lot like a clutch purse, like here, or put the card holders in the back, which blocks the camera.
it looks nice but i will probably drop the phone while getting out the cash.
Nice if you're a lady.
I found a very great Acessories! I think you like it too!

I smell spam.
Yep, definitely smells like spam around here.
You are kidding, right?
There is ONE reason to use a mobile phone as a camera, and that is ... its small, and you always have it with you. No matter how good the camera in the phone is, its not as good as a real camera.
Carrying arount that gigantic piece of equipment totally screws up the idea of mobility. And every photograph that wants to make high quality photos with a zoom lens will buy a real camera for that reason anyway.
Its like buying an electric car, and because of its limited range, installing a fuel engine and a tank.

Yep, and a realy amateurish one. Posting 3 minutes apart, posters from the same country, both new members. Spammers arent what they used to be anymore.
great!:good:

Looks like it would just click back together.
I have a Moko case that clips on the bottom corners, and sometimes when I remove the case from the corners of the tablet the back of the tablet starts to come off something like you pictured, but not as much. I simply snap (or press) the back, back on to the tablet. Are you not able to do that also? The backs come off rather easily as some people have removed them to fiddle with the wireless charging contacts. Everything else seems good on my tablet, so I will just be more careful when removing the case.
I finagled the case back on however one of the clips seems to be broken off unfortunately
So my Gnex went black over a year ago, I tried all the guidance at the time with combinations of plugging and battery pulls. It just plain would not respond in any way to any stimuli. I got a new Nexus 5 and lived happily ever after until the discussion of Lollipop on Gnex resparked interest.
So, I gutted the Gnex, everything looks good, but that little tiny button cell battery on underside of mainboard screams guilty.
BUT the little bastard is SPOT WELDED in its holder 6 places. 3 on top, 3 on bottom. Really? Yeah.
I manage to carefully sheer the welds with a tiny flathead. It reads ML414H.should be 3VDC, It tested out at 2VDC. Enought to keep phone from booting? Charging?
Anyway, I'm over here in Norway, and lets say getting on of these tiny batteries would apparently requires some creative logistics. (They dont even have Radio Shack )
I need help tracking down one to see if its a legit fix.

This battery is simply a backup battery for the system clock. The problem is not with it.

The screen has cracked for a very long time but still functional. Just now, it fell once again and then a white-ish thin line appeared at the very right corner, but I ignored it as it does not disturbed me. Few hours later, I think i put a little pressure into this pressure (But I'm pretty sure i am not, because my the only thing i did was to put it inside of my jeans pocket) and poof! Half of the screen cannot be seen clearly (refer picture). But still could function as in I could still use the touch screen mode at the affected area. Could this lcd screen problem be saved without replacing the lcd with a new one? Replacing it is my last resort if I could save it DIY. Help me, thanks!
Yeah, sure, via a software update. That'll also give you wireless charging, but only if you charge the phone inside the microwave.
You've cracked the screen! What sort of DIY fix you assume can exist, besides replacing it?
tired of cheap ebay screens, what replacement screen do yall recommend?
OnePlus RMA. It isn't overly expensive.
From memory, it was around £90 for me.
