Okay I don't know what the heck is going on but when someone is calling me regular ringtones just keep ringing without and pauses and it is very annoying. If I choose a song it fine but if I use a file that is 3 or 4 seconds long it just loops it constanly without any pauses in between.
Any ideas?
I had this happen while using cm7 on my milestone and now on my DHD running Leedroid.
i had the same problem. didnt think it had anything to do with Roms and Kernels. i'm using a different rom than yours though.

When I turn my desire on everything is fine however if I leave it a few hours and come back it will simply not wake up I can do what I like but I can not wake the phone up unless I take the battery out and turn it on again and the weird thing is that in that time where it is "sleeping" I can call it and it rings or send texts to it however when I turn it back on I have no missed calls and do not receive any of the texts I sent. At first I simply thought it must just be the sense 3.5 roms I was using which did often freeze when loading an app however I ten reverted back to a sense 3.0 rom which never froze and was extremely stable apart from the black screen freezes. Its very frustrating has anyone got any ideas ?
Also Iam currently using the AceSMod007-3D rom.
It looks that it is a problem with the ROM.
It think you have a better possibility for a solution, if you post the bug to the (thread) developer of the ROM.

before reverting back, did you wipe everything, incl. dalvik cache? and have you tried a different sd?
May I suggest to use the search function ?

After month of freeze, wipe, many rom and new sd I tried to bend the slot card as mentionned at the end of this post.
One week without freeze...
I think it has nothing to do with Rom or SD...
Another vote for the SD card causing it. I had a blank screen a few times when testing out custom ROMs with a new SD card... Aftermarket cards do seem a bit loose in the slot compared to the stock card.
It seems like most custom ROMs can't really function without the SD card being mounted
I am starting to think that I probably also having this because of some problem with the sdcard.
As for taking out the battery, you can do instead the three-finger thing: press Power+VolDown+Joystick - this works in most cases as a warm reboot.

Take a look at your OC frequences controller, when you have low min values for sleep it sometimes doesn't want to wake up.

I have been flashing roms onto my SGH-T989D and for whatever reason, when a call comes in the phone rings like it drank a few red bulls. Instead of getting a ring-pause-ring-pause; I get ring-ring-ring-ring-ring-ring-ring and it is very annoying.
Is there a build.prop setting or something happening here that I can change to restore proper functionality? I know that I can open every single ringtone and add a 3 second pause to each file but that is ludicrous. Who has the time?
Right now I am running Jug 5.0 and before this was foxstar with the same issue.
Which ROM were you before using that spaced the rings out as you want?

This problem just started for me and I have experienced nothing like it. I'm running the LG p930 with CM10.1.3 RC2. Yesterday, the phone began restarting whenever it tries playing a sound. This happens in Netflix/ Youtube once a video starts, Pandora when it attempts to start playing a song, even the sound panel when I use the volume rocker to try changing my volume and it attempts to play the little beep. It also happens no matter what speaker it tries using - headphones, speakerphone or earpiece, meaning I can't actually use the telephone functionality of the device either..
As far as fixing- I've tried clearing the cache and dalvik, fixing permissions, and even flashed several other ROMs. Everything seemed to have the same problem. Does anyone know what could be going on?
This exact thing happened to me. I couldn't find any information on it.
I had to completely format and un-brick the phone. I'm not even sure that it worked the first time. But after completely wiping and un-bricking a couple of times, it was back to normal. I think this is the guide that I have always used for that.

I know what you mean. I was surprised to stumble across this post about it. I feel like I have had a few issues that just seemed very strange with this phone.
Mine was just like you described. I couldn't even change the volume without it crashing. If my phone was on vibrate, I could see the call come through. When I answered the call, the phone crashed.
I was probably on a PAC-ROM or CM10 Nightly. But like you, I probably went through every available ROM, stables and nightlies at that time. I think I even tried to flash a stock ROM.

All you need to do is download the image files, and skip to step 4 in the section "Restoring the original Nitro HD images:" Then get cwm working, and move on from there with whatever ROM you want. I know there seems to be a lull in development but my wife was having problems with the sound on her Inc. I loaded up Tiny's 10.1 as I felt is was the most stable and all the functions seemed to work. She said that if some one calls her it will ring normal but then the sound disappears if she gets any texts or notifications after that. She usually reboots to get sound back but can also manually turn the volume down and back up. Was about to load a different ROM when we decided to test it on mine. I am running Musical_Chairs latest Evervolv 4.0.0 and the same thing happens. Anyone else have the same experiences or better yet a permanent fix?
Pretty much every person I've called says at random times I will cut out for 1-2 seconds, and I've experienced the same thing with hearing callers it will go out and be silent for a couple of seconds. This happens randomly, but it always happens. I don't know if it's the phone or ? Using stock dialer on Google Fi.
yes i have , but it happend to me in global stable , it has been fine using Arrow OS.
But anyways , it is unacceptable that such a thing happens with the stock system.
