Is it possible to flash the Gingerbread rom based sense 2.1 n sense 3.0 lockscreen developed for the HTC Magic n my touch 3g in the HTC Wildfire. i mean the specs r almost same ...the magic just got a bit high resolution. Someone tried it?? is it possible to get in the Wildfire.

Hi Guys apologies if people know about this found this elsewhere but below is a link to a video of HTC desire (black T-mobile) running sense and live wallpapers i know that in terms of specs its far superior to the hero,but has anyone got thier hands on a leak of this rom ? is there one available ? and what would be the chances of porting this to hero with live wallpapers or using the base perhaps to build an AOSP 2.1 rom for hero with live wallpapers ?

EDIT:Ok so yes there is an alph 7 release that has been ported to nexus one over at modaco and the guys there have a release candidate rom over there that there also working on porting so could we get this on our Hero's ?
The desire has a different resolution so it's probably not worth the hassle to port it over.
The Desire ROM isn't really portable to a Hero or Legend. Just use the Legend ROM for that.
The hardware platform is different, the resolution and all the graphics in Sense are (probably) different.
You can use any of the AOSP 2.1 ROMS (like Kagudroid 1.2 or 1.3) and try Live Wallpapers on there. What is working works, what doesn't is because of hardware restraints.
CKDroid (or something) managed to get some more working by playing with the OpenGL drivers, but anything more than that is simply impossible on the hero hardware.

that desire isnt even running 2.1....
Hi all,
As the title says, can we expect this ROM on our Desire HD? When it's out offcourse..
Cause the new Sense 3.0 looks really awesome! want to have that
Also, Sense 3.0 is already running on the HTC EVO 3D.. is it possible to make a ROM from that one?
These are just some questions I am curious for, so I can dream about having Sense 3.0 somewhere in the future on my Desire HD

Well HTC said that they were going to change the lockscreen on Sense. I believe that the Sense update will come to the DHD but without some features since the E3D and Sensation are dualcore processors.
And if HTC doesn't make a official update we always got developers ^^

The *NEW* lockscreen customization feature looks AWESOME !
I guess there are two ways of getting SENSE 3.0 or perhaps some of its features :
1. Either OFFICIAL 2.3 UPDATE would give us some of the 3.0 SENSE features
2. Or we'll get OFFICIAL 2.3 UPDATE which will bring to us some dumb new feature as NEW notification bar & application list ( as we can see in Desire S / Incredible S )
- And then we'll have to wait a few months for getting DHD rooted ; getting SENSE 3.0 PORTED ; bla bla bla

Our update to gingerbread will have Sense 2.1 (as shown in the leaked ROMs), I highly doubt we'll get Sense 3.0 officially for our device.
I hope someone can port it over, I'm not an expert so I don't know if it's possible. I'm guessing we won't as the Sensation is dual core and ours isn't?
ohhh yeah this rom is simply asewome !!!!! hope someone will port it on our DHD
Devs are working on a port from a leaked Sensation Rom! It's just a matter of time I guess! Hope they can fix the difference in screen resolution issue which seem to be the biggest problem so far...
Lockscreen does look very nice! I hope it also fixes my issue of accepting/refusing a cal when I get the DHD out of my pocket...

They probably wont port it officially. Doesnt make good business sense.
agreed, HTC won't release the Sensation/Kingdom sense 3.0 ROM's under the excuse that the DHD does not have the necessary hardware to support. In reality it's to make sure that we all buy the latest and greatest new handset.
I was running the Kingdom v.0.2 by Capychimp and RCMix and it was excellent, very impressive but still too many issues to be a daily runner for me. Future updates will be excellent I'm sure
also i´m running leedroid current version and 304 kernel with kalagas mixed and running lockscreen, weather, and sms-mms by sense 3.0!
ok , but in the capy's Rom de navi bar is not the same , the icons are more smaller than the original sense3.0 navi bar .. and the resolution is not clean

There are two roms with real sense 3.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1079108, this is real sens 3.0 ported from htc kingdom so have fun
I just wanted to ask if sense 3.0 can be fully ported (i tried several sense 3.0 ace port roms amd some stuff doesnt work as it does on real sense 3 like desire hd devices. )

-how come gallery isn't fully ported (its sense 2.1 gallery with some sense 3 gallery tweaks)
-why do sense 3 skins that are not directly from HTC but are on the market not work on sense 3 desire bravo ports

The developers from the sense 3 roms don't want the new Album app, i don't known why. but for example the cool bliss v1a (thanks to coolexe) have the new album!

Because the Themes in the market are for an other screen solution (960*540)! They just work with htc Sensation and htc EVO 3D. But I think it would be possible to develop a Skin for hdpi sense3.0 roms
tx for fast reply i was wondering about skin because iirc i tried some of those skins on desire hd and they worked and desire hd has same resolution as bravo
