Clemsyn's BEST FROYO BUILD Final Release Eng/Spanish and All Language

My Final Release is up. Please use l1q1d latest 11-24 kernel. Here are the links.

Issues:
1. Camcorder don't work (same as other froyo)
2. USB tether not working
Recommendations:
1. Clear Dalvik-cache before installing ROM
2. Install on NAND both system and data (don't do HARET)
3. Turn off Mobile Data connection if not in use.
4. Try not to overclock when testing for stability
5. If you turn on your device an it does not respond, it's most likely in Fake Vsync. Just open the keyboard and press FN+Left soft button, then FN+right soft button.
6. DO NOT REBOOT (data corruption on reboots and shutdows still persists)!!! If you do then immediately Clear the Dalvik-cache and Fix permissions (may help, may not)

You mean the boot animation? It should be in "/system/media/bootanimation.zip" if I"m correct. Otherwise the splash screen is just a KAISIMG.nbh that you flash. See this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=646186&highlight=splash

Thanks! I actually meant the boot animation

so your problem with the boot animation is that their is no boot animation file present in the file
it usually sits in the /system/media folder
i just added the boot animation from the newest fresh froyo and its displaying a boot animation just fine, did you get bluetooth working?

Hey, I'm new to flashing and stuff. I wanted to ask if I can flash and make my memory for apps 1gb without installing the cm rom and not stock RUU 2.3.5 gingerbread?? I really like sense and just can go away from it

Wrong place to ask. This should be in the general section.
-Get your phone S-OFF with XTC-Clip
-Install CWM recovery (in general section sticky)
-Install root kit (instructions in general section sticky)
-Follow the directions to prepare your SD card for a second Ext partition
-Download and flash data2sd if you want. Blech...
-Download and use link2sd. Yay!
Please bother to read the general section help topics and ask the question in a non development thread.

Yes, if u want to use the google apps in CM you must install the gapps patch you find on webpage.

hello
I do all the steps and I have 8GB SD ..... I want 1GB to EXT and the rest of FAT32, SWAP memory does not put anything? because in another forum they have recommended me 500MB of swap memory.
I tried with 1GB in EXT3, SWAP 150mb and the ROM wasn't going very well.....

I hve taken his installer and modded to work according to my need but dont think that I have just copied and pasted the installer
had you ever feel that another galaxy s variant's forum have a ics rom which suits all your need but you cannot flash it because it is not yet ported to your device but now all this will not happen again with this patch you can install which ROM you want to flash there will be no boundation for you.
if you are getting status 7 or getprop error then a little work from your side is needed
extract the rom to a folder then go to /extracted folder/META - INF/com/Google/Android
from there open updater-script and remove all getprop lines
come back to META - INF folder and delete all three files
zip the file and flash it in recovery
NOTE:- to edit updater script use jota text editor(android), notepad (windows)

this patch will let you flash other I897 or t959 roms I have not tried it on other variant but you can try and let me know if it works I have tried to flash a nexus s rom and it was not flashing so just flash and let me know there is no harm no soft brick no hard brick just physical button will not work until you flash this patch or another rom, don't think that s2 roms can work but you can always try

update 3:- flashed fascinate rom by editing updater script and without resigning got it booted up but it cleared my efs folder so was not getting any network coverage, I got very depressed tried cleared data restore nandroid but nothing works then I thought about efs and with the backup I copy imei files to efs folder and after reboot I got coverage now I will not flash any fascinate rom just for testing but I can say that fascinate rom are working

I tried google nexus s ics stock rom without this patch ,just changed the kernel with our kernel and phone boot

Froyo - chmod 755 Installer.sh
Gingerbread - ./Installer.sh
(See what I did there ?, if not 2.1; 2.2; 2.3)
Connect your Xoom to your PC with a cable;
Open a terminal and type:

On the menu select Download and select the ROM you want;
After the download is finished just go back and install using the XARI

SCRIPTS: (JUST FOR INFO)
1) INT2EXT,INT2EXT+,INT2EXT4+ ARE WORKING,CHECK HERE (int2ext4+ needs OC kernel because of ext4 partition isn't compatible with stock kernel)
INSTRUCTIONS :
1. flash rom and then flash int2ext+ or int2ext or int2ext4+ or a2sd+ (any one cronmod)
2. then go to mounts and storage and format /sd-ext
3. then reboot.
{ use ext3 partition & keep in mind that you need to flash int2ext+ scripts right after rom and then reboot or it ll not work & sometimes rom take time to boot first time so don't remove battery,just keep little patient }
2) MENTIONED THUNDERBOLT TWEAKS ARE WORKING. (TESTED BY ME):good:

Yeap. This is a file that you can flash like cm10 and all. So you can just go to recovery and flash it

yeah.htc guys are so lazy.they add screenshot app and lib in rom but dont add required build.prop two lines
so we cant use that feature.`

yeah FAtfcK is right.
you can use this on any marvel(GSM) device.its cwm flashable zip like other cm9/cm10 zip file.
so download it,put on your sdcard then wipe everything(as you do before installing any rom) and flash it.
PS. flashble zip roms contains only system and boot.so it ll work on any (GSM) device.radio,hboot can only change when you use RUU.

power + home button (press both in same time)
when you add these two lines in build.prop, your power button take little long to show power menu.
you can easily hold power button first and then press home.
then release both.
it ll screenshot in 1-2 seconds.

haha okay.int2ext+ will work ,int2ext4+ wont work cz of stock kernel isnt compitable with ext4.
anyways thnx fr testing.
nd keep in mind.
flash int2ext+ right after flashing rom or it wont work.(some bootloops too)

Flashed INT2EXT(no plus), wiped SD-ext, and it took quite some time to boot. I was about to pull the battery when it got the bootanimation.
