I attached an image. I'm using Unrevoked. Also, the phone no longer asks me if I want to charge only or mount the phone as a storage device etc when I plug it in. It just starts charging and I can still browse all the files on the SD card through the Windows Explorer browser.
It sounds like your Evo is not reading your SD Card. Can you browse to it in a file manager?
I think I got it working now. Thanks.
Once I have everything backed up to /sdcard/Titanium do I copy that to my PC somewhere so if I decide to flash a custom ROM I would then copy it back onto the SD card and restore? Is that the idea?

You don't have to copy it to your PC. Flashing a new rom won't touch your SD Card unless your format it or partition it for Apps2sd
Has anyone used titanium to move from another device to the evo?
Coming from the hero, I'm wondering if I can put my hero's sdcard in the evo and go from there...

I did. When coming from my nexus to the evo. You need to make sure you format your Apps2sd partition (if you use one) though. Other than that, it worked fine for me

Hi,
Can I copy the contents of my current SD card and put it on a new card without messing up anything? That is to say keep my apps, data and settings intact when I install the new card? I'm rooted with CM 6.1
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Yes, you can. All you need is a card reader.
If you use Apps2sd they would stay on a different partition, which Windows can't see.
If you don't use that everything is saved on your phone.
But it is safe to just copy and paste from one card to another.

Yes. I use Apps2sd - all I will need to do is copy the apps back to the phone then copy the card contents to the new card.

Wait - what?!! He was talking about apps2ext. If you're using what came with the rom and haven't created an ext partition then you're using the apps2fat method. In which case you can copy over the files.
Or were you talking about apps2ext? If so, how did you get it done (pm me w/ answer so we don't hijack this thread)

What exactly happened in AAHK? What have you done since rooting - for example, have you installed a custom ROM?

What did the notification say exactly? Did you try rebooting? Are you sure the sdcard is seated correctly?

If you want someone to help you need to give detailed list of what you did and what messages have been output.

Hack Kit does not mess sdcards, so yours should have been bad before, or maybe the contacts in the device are not ok. Have you tried formatting the sdcard?
That might happen if you improperly unmount it. Have you unmount it from the device, take it off and put it back, choosing to eject it from the menu?

That is really not a good attitude to have here.
Oops, thanked you; definitely on accident.
Format the card. If that doesn't work get a new one. Yours might be corrupted.

So it sounds like you managed to root your phone successfully then using the Ace kit. Do you install a new custom ROM as well or just go back to your original one?
If the Hack kit worked your SD card should work fine as it turns it into a gold card. If the SD card was damaged it should have flagged it up during the Ace Hack kit installation.
Turn off you phone, take the SD card out and clean the contacts. Put it back in and restart the phone and see what happens?
If that doesnt work format your SD card or get a new one. They are pretty cheap these days.

sd card blank or has unsupported filesystem
Hi.
My sd card has stopped working. It shows sd card blank or has unsupported filesystem, I made factory reset, hard reset but still not working. My HTC Desire HD corrupt every sd card that i put inside the whole. How to fix this problem. I'm worry about it because i cannot use the camera or to download any video. SD Card require for all downloads. In the PC shows removable disc but when i want to format it shows "enter the disc".
Thank you in advance

How are you removing your sdcards? Are you dismounting them properly? Try formatting it from the phone instead of the PC.

I already tried everything. From phone cannot format the sd Card. The option is to format it but when i make this option, it wont formatted. Remains only trying but nothing happens. The only thing that I will try is to root the phone.

You need a working sdcard to root the phone. I would advise that you try a new card.

The issue im facing is that the hox has no micro sd card slot so is there anyway to get the data from the micro sd card from the other phones backup on to the hox so I can restore the information. Also if anyone has a method for this would it also work on another phone say the xperia u another phone with no micro sd slot.

There still an "Emulated" SD Card.
Its just not removeable, so copy it to the HOX's SD card as usual.

Install titanium on one x, do a backup... Locate the backup file and then swap it with your bold backup... That way it will deffo be in the right place!

What do you mean, trouble reading or writing to the sdcard? Try formatting the card on the phone itself, that usualy works.
What are you trying to do with the card? it might be that you just are not aware with how Android Kitkat treats the sd card slot?

Probably......only File Manager can write or delete files on my sd card, Xplore or a different Manager can't, is it normal in KitKat?

Apps can only write and edit files that they themselves created on the SD card which is why third party apps are not working. It is to stop rouge apps deleting / creating / modifying files that they shouldn't be.

With files you mean system files or files created by you? You should be able to delete or move files with an alternative file explorer or you might try gaining root (towel root is easiest) to gain admin rights.
If you root your phone, you can remove the limitations that were added in KitKat.
Many 'newbie experts' who say that an 8 or 16GB phone is fine as you can move apps etc. to an SD card are finding out the hard way that KitKat restrictions prevent using the card the same way as it used to be in older Android versions unless the device is rooted.

Someone else had the same problem and they did an equipment swap and the new G3 didn't have the problem.
So it might be the SD card slot itself or its interface and a exchange might be neccessary.
