Haya all, I'm having problems downloading the latest version of rom manager, every time I click the update button in the market the download will start get to 100% then will fail. I'm using cm7. Is there a link to a .apk I can download or is any one else having the same prob?

Probably bad download. Try downloading file again. Did you download directly from phone?

The first time yes from the phone over wifi, then I deleted it from my SD card and re-downloaded from a laptop, moved it to the root of SD and flashed again with a full wipe and davlik wipe and I got the same thing.
Sent an EVO running bakedsnack!
same issue here...
I think the one on bakedsnackshack is a bad zip, it doesn't open properly on my computer either.
Anyone have the 1.9 release notes by any chance?
Just wondering if anyone found out anything...

If anyone finds out any details, let us know!
The rom works for me. I am currently running baked snack 1.9 right now, and I downloaded it from bakedsnackshack.com. The file should be 173.7MB.
Any solution to this issue yet? It's been 3 weeks since the first post here and I'm having the exact same problem - the download from Bakedsnackshack.com is no good.
Not to mention the site makes reference to outdated versions like the newest radio being 2.15.00.07.28.
Anyone else having similar issues? Can't seem to find much support online.
I must have tried 11 times with different browsers, using my EVO, etc. Only once did it download a correct zip. Test the zip before trying to flash by simply unzipping it on your hard drive.

Did you flash the gapps that we used for CM6 (non-gingerbread) it wont work. You need to use the gapps package that is specifically for GB / CM7.
Download gapps-gb-20110120-signed.zip from here:
http://goo-inside.me/gapps/

Have tried that one but no luck...

try mounting system and data before flashing, then unmount and fix permissions.. a wild guess, but might work
didn't help (
you are using 3.x recovery of course? just asking.. don't know then :/
Ask in the thread where you got your ROM from.

[Q] Cyanogenmod7 Nightlies

Hi,
For some reason in rommanager I can only see up to #13 for the cyanogenmod nightlies?
Does anyone else have this problem?
The reason I bought the paid version was to get access to all of them.
Thanks
Paul
Well you got ripped off because Rom Manager is ****. Seriously, you should NEVER flash anything with Rom Manager or have it installed at that. Just download it from CyanogenMod, put it on your SD and install it via recovery.
Rom manager does what it is supposed to do and does it well.
The reason you do not see anymore nightlies is because there are no more. The nightlies got reset after RC1 was released. There isn't a new njghtly every night because sometimes there is no successful build.
Rom Manager does everything really poorly, seriously. It is useless and causes so many problems.

The main issue(s) is when you reboot. Say you flash a rom, when you reboot it tends to just reboot and not flash the rom or anything. It does stuff like that. Rom Manager tries to be the recovery but whilst booted up but fails. Fair enough, it works for some people but so many other people have problems with it. Ok, it has been developed for "noobs" and yes, I did kind of use it at first but then I found out from my own experience it didn't work too well. I think that people should forget about Rom Manager and just boot up into recovery and just use that since the recovery actually works, and only takes a reboot (depending on your rom) to get into it.
Why, do you like it?
I've noticed same issue with the nightly. I've tried manually flashing the newer ones, but get an error on the device check. So rom manager is correct 13 or RC2 are the latest that will install

Am a bit of a newbie to the custom rom world. So far rom manager has worked fine.
Am currently on cyanogen rc2 and have flashed my radio without problems. As a Java developer and a phone geek people think I am mad for mucking about with my phone so much.
The question was because I thought I had read there was a nightly 15.

I have had the same issue with Rom Manager. I had to download directly from the Cyanogenmod site
Just flashed 17 and it seems to be really fast!

Just realised, that is the bravo version, cyanogen points xemacs desires to bravoc. Still seems to be working fine

I don't know if it's related, but I had trouble with CM7 RC2 when installed through ROM Manager, but manually flashing the CM7 Nightly #17 worked just fine. I wiped the caches etc. on both tries (or rather, ROM Manager did on the RC2).

[Q] Updating bananacake's Kernel 0.8f problem!

Hey guys,
I'm currently running cooldev's ROM Cool 3D AceS v4 which is equipped with bananacake's kernel version 0.7g I guess ... however i'm trying to update 0.8f but none of the two versions work. I've wiped the dalvik cache three times ... recovery tries to install the update but ends with "Installation aborted". Any clues how to fix this?
Do I need to update to a previous version like 0.8b before upgrading it to 0.8f?
Thank you so much for your help!
Failed download normally throws that

You have to unzip the file you download and in that there are some different version of the kernel.
