So I'm looking in router for an unrelated issue and I see my phone is named "android ***********" with *'s representing a bunch of characters of course... yous guys are smarter than most so ya knew that.
My question is:
Is there a way I can name the phone like ya can a computer? Looked but can not find a place to do that.

Can't remember about other ROMs, but in CM7 there's an option under Applications, Development to change the hostname.

Just running Stock Rooted S-Off, to chicken to move to other roms/kernals.
Looked to see if stock would be where you suggested but no such luck. No results with about 20 differently worded google searches either.
Thanks for the reply though.
Evidently, you have to modify the boot.img to change the hostname on a stock ROM, which is not something I suggest messing with.

Not me cheez, I could mess up the most simple thing in the world... If I "Know" how to do it I will, if I don't and it could be a bad mistake and cost lots of money or frustration.... I leave it alone.

Her? I wasn't aware apps had genders. Just deal with it, how often are you selecting your city anyway. If you need to change it repeatedly just tell the app to use current location. That way it changes for you.

I have strange problem with my phone. In all ROM from HTC, statusbar looks like burned - in GPE roms too. Only in CyanogenMOD I don't have this problem. A lots of people will talk that this is device problem, this isn't software. Ok, but why I don't have this problem on CM12.1? Where is fuc$#% logic HTC?

Have to agree, the OP seems more interested in complaining than supplying enough info to get a solution; such as getvar details, what ROMs flashed, etc. "all ROM" doesn't cut it.
I'm on a factory unlocked note10+ with verizon service. Is there a way I can put the star wars theme on my phone?

You say that, but even searching with the proper search terms brings up a result that is exactly what was linked to you.
Perhaps it is not the search that is at fault but the user performing the search, or lack there of.

Ok, but now that my phone has installed Android 10 & One UI 2 the theme I installed doesn't work. I didn't flash firmware, just created the theme. Is there a process to get the theme to work?
